Hello i am installing The7 theme on shared hosting server and experiencing very slow page loading response when accessing admin page (the visitor facing page speed is fine). It’s very slow when editing post, using visual composer, open media popup, and everything else in admin/dashboard area.

The hosting itself seems not be the problem because the old client site, ftp access speed, etc is working fine and fast.

Do you have any idea what caused this problem? The slowness make editing process very unbearable. Thanks

visual composer is not function. My current theme is the7.2s. Can you recommend VC that compatible or how to fixed it ? Should i buy license VC ? There are 2 plugin related to VC . visual composer Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer version 3.13.1 WPBakery Visual Composer Version 4.6.1

I see there are recent updates. I have a site on 7.2 and I do not want to change to 7.3. I used to be able to download 7.3 and there would be an old folder for 7.2 updates. What now? I am posting here so others can see the answer.

Hello. We have bought a new theme and are trying to install it. The old theme we had, which was The7.2, cannot be updated to The7.3 since it was purchased under a different account. We therefore purchased a new 7.3 theme under the account we are using currently. When we tried to install the new theme, an error message was given saying it cannot be installed because the “Destination folder already exists.” My question is, if we go in and delete this folder that’s under the same name and try installing the new theme, will it successfully download? If it does, will it completely erase all of our content on the site by installing a new, upgraded version of The7? I know there are solutions to this issue but I just really don’t want to lose all of our content. Any help is great. Thank you!

1. can i make it load faster? Do you recomend cache plugins? 2. the featured image on the full blog page (example: http://www.sss-elburg.nl/2750-2/) is very big. Can i change it to maximum hight?

Good morning, The visual composer on the theme does not show “equal height” option and I have the newest update. Has it been removed?

Can I make a request? I like the fact you have several navigation styles, but It would be even better if users could choose the aspects they want on each style.

For example: Your side navigation only has one microwidget area. while the same general option with click has 2 micro widget areas.

Also, your horizontal navigation includes a top bar for additional details, but the side navigation does not.

Why can’t you simply have options to make it easy and not restrict certain features for certain navigation styles.

Options could be: 1. Horizontal or vertical (with multiple style options on each (classic, inline, split))

2. always visible, or on click 3. Over lay or sidebars 4. Include top bar (yes or no) (biggest request) 5. Check box to include Top navigation, left or right side navigation (some site structures would enjoy multiple navigation menus.

I don’t see any reason that a top bar can’t be included with side bar navigation, or why widgets can’t be placed above the menu.

I am using your theme in a One Page format. I added a page: www.mywebsite.com/mypage

The problem is that when I am on this page, the menu does not work anymore :

When I go on this other page and I click on a link (which is an anchor) on my main menu, I got the href : www.mywebsite.com/mypage/#home instead of www.mywebsite.com/#home.

I wrote my anchors like this : #!/home

Hello, I’ve a problem with theme. After WooCommerce update (current version 2.6.1) all endpoints are broken. If I go to /my-account/orders the site is redirect to /my-account. This for all pages or endpoints about user.

In older versions of The7 the benefits grid had borders. I actually loved that style. Is there any way of implementing the borders simply (via CSS) to achieve the same effect? I will open a support ticket via the appropriate channel if the answer is yes.

Visual composer isn’t showing up in WP admin pages. I don’t know how to update to the latest version of VC, nor do I know how to update to the latest version of the7 theme as it’s not coming in automatically in my WP theme updates page. I checked to see if the theme is authenticated but couldn’t find where to do that. I do have a license for this site – http://karilatta.com.

Do I need to renew support for this small request?

1) When making Photo Albums or Galleries is there a Media Manager so all our photos don’t end up in the WP media section. We’ll like to be able to upload them into their own directories. Like we did with NextGen. Can we do this with the theme?

2) How can we add Facebook and Twitter Like & Share buttons to the photos in the albums?

Where in the download file(s) can I see a list of changes for a new version (like the one that just came out)?

Lost my Portfolio and Testimonials after theme update. Any advise?
