Hi Doris,

The option to enable Sidebar is available in the options panel under OSHINE OPTIONS > TOP HEADER SETTINGS > HEADER WIDGETS. I have enabled this for you and the Sidebar is now showing up in the site along with the menu.

Hi,

You seem to have set the Background Color and Hover Color the same for the buttons. For ex. the Button in the Home Page that says “Dance Class” has “ffffff” set for normal and Hover State when i inspect the element on browser. Could you please check this. Let me know if you think the changes are not getting saved properly in the Page Builder. i would need your admin details to investigate in that case.

The issue would have occurred if you had an older version of Oshine Theme while updating the Page Builder. To fix the issue, You have update the theme to its latest version via METHOD 2 – USING THE FTP as mentioned in this link here -http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/update-theme/ .

If you are not aware to using the FTP method, do email us your URL, wp-admin id and password along with the FTP details (Host URL, username and password) so we can restore it for you.

Email the details via the Private Message form in the Support Tab in themeforest and the support team will attend to this..

Ok. If you are using the Lightbox in Portfolio, the option is always Magnific Pop up. So adding the Caption in the Title should pull it up when you open the Portfolio Image in Lightbox. Photoswipe lightbox is included only on the Gallery Module.

v20 is basically a demo that can be imported. A demo is just a showcase of what can be done using the theme’s settings and options and are sample pages that you can use as a starting point to set up your website. Kindly follow the instructions in our knowledgebase here to import the demo of your choice.

Kindly follow all the steps from importing the demo to setting up the main menu, home & blog pages and you will have your site looking like the demo and it will be easy to get started from there.

Hi,

The video shortcode is not working, as we have overridden the default shortcode in the BE Page Builder. We have added the required code to restore the default WP Video Shortcode in the Oshine Child theme. The Code lines are commented. You need to install and activate the Child theme and uncomment the lines of code within the function “be_restore_default_gallery” . Just as a note, once this is done, you will not be able to use the Video Module in the Page Builder.

Thank you very much, good to know, even if in this case it’s not possible to disable the Page Builder video module. We are using Page Builder and the youtube videos for Projects. But by now I solved this with “create media gallery” and little styling. I just add one video to gallery and it works fine

Hi Jill,

The Reset will default the Settings as per the Main Demo – V1 and will not reset to the demo that you have imported. To get the back the settings of any demo, you can re-import the Setting “alone” by navigating to APPEARANCES > IMPORT DEMO DATA. Here you can find option to import the settings. Note that, doing this will restore the entire settings of the site (and not just the typography panel).

Regarding featured images, is there a way to use an animated gif or video in the portfolio? I’ve tried resizing the image to the size of the thumbnails used (1250×750) in the template, but it’s still coming through as a static image. A 150×150 gif works, but the image becomes really pixelated in the portfolio thumbnail since it’s enlarged.

I did do some preliminary testing for the gif images, and looks like the masonry grid support only jpegs and pngs but not gif. I will require some more time to test this extensively to check if there is a possibility. The development team is working on the feasibility as we speak and we will patch a fix if possible in our upcoming updates to the theme/page builder.

yes thats what i wanted to know, its just that in some cases it lags when moving from one image to another.

Also another question. Is there any way to keep the information tab open for the horizontal carousel slider ?

Or is there a way to pit information before or after the images apart from the portfolio details? which is very limited

Actually I would recommend checking your image file sizes if incase you are finding the slider to be lagging. I think your images run in the MB’s and you should probably compress them. We have tested the slider across multi devices and browsers and runs smooth.

Please use the custom javascript snippet to have to information tag open by default in the horizontal carousel gallery.

If incase you have want information above or below a carousel, then you should probably use the Slider Revolution Plugin to create your carousel and not use the inbuilt option, use the slider the page builder.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing the theme. Yes a Solid Header style is possible if you choose V23 demo too.

The Header Styles that you see in all demos can be used interchangeably as they are all controlled by the options in the theme.

Thank you for your response Swami. I checked the theme and I have version 4.4 installed. I recently updated. I also have BE page Builder version 4.4. After deactivating a recently installed plugin I was able to add media, however I am still unable to access any of the drop down items on the hidden formatting line in the text box visual layout (font size, paragraph, formats, font color).

Hi Swami, I figured out what was causing the issue. After deactivating all my plugins and reactivating one at a time I found the plugin that was causing this bug. JetPack was responsible but it only affects it after I connect Jetpack to my wordpress.com account.
