Hi guys, I thought i would leave a feedback about the theme and support. I have downloaded two licences for this theme, i have had few issues but since the release of the new upgrade most of the initial problems have been solved. It is a beautiful theme, you can get really creative. BUT, for me the most important element of support is excellent. They are very helpful and respond to your inquiries very good. Thanks guys for creating a beautiful theme.

Hi Tambralyn, it’s really not easy to help you, sorry we have 200+ pages in our demo and 4 different header types (http://www.undsgn.com/uncode/documentation/headers-general/) so without a detailed reference is not easy to help. This feature is actually one of the most requested and it’s just ready in our development stage, unfortunately we cannot give public deadline cause this will be shipped also with other udpates but you can expect to see a native related post (with all the layouts and variations you see in Uncode) pretty soon!
Thanks for creating a beautiful theme. I am having a challenge with inserting images in the “Single Media” blocks. Whenever I do, the page reveals itself as completely blank with only the menu showing. If I remove the image, the page works again. I was able to get around this a bit by creating image backgrounds under the image, however this is not an option for portfolio items. Do you have a solution or workaround for this issue? Thanks!

Hello, I recently purchased this theme and it will not let me install the demo content. I am getting the error “Ooops, the Demo Content couldn’t be imported all in once.” I upped my wordpress max memory limit and everything on the welcome page is in the green. Do you refer to Google Ads? You can insert this ads just with a simple WordPress free plugin, connect with a widget and insert this widget in lots of different positions. If you have a more detailed idea we can confirm, but pretty sure you’ll have no problems, let us know!

Pre-purchase question: Is there a way to enable the Maintenance Mode page while working on one of the other demos (e.g. Creative Agency) in the backend?
I know most themes with Maintenance Modes do not allow you to do this because they only allow one template to be live at any time. Only a plugin would allow you to run a maintenance mode on the front end and edit in the back-end.

The site will be visible once you are logged but the not logged user only see the splash page.

My menu all of a sudden disappeared on my website. I’m having some difficulty with having access to my wp dashboard admin > “menu section” in addition to being unable to customize my site via ‘customize’ on the front end. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Pre-purchase question : Does the lateral style menu type allow ecommerce set up? Or is it possible to have the lateral style as a home page, but a different style for ecommerce store, all in 1 website?

Yes you can have ecommerce elements also with the lateral menu even if this is not so used (unfortunately we don’t have any demos with this), so you can create your lateral menu ecommerce website too. It’s not possible to vary the menu from page to page, when you select a menu style this is applied for all the site (it’s not a good practise have a website with more than menu style, normal users get lost with this). Congrats on a great theme, and very impressed with your documentation. Here’s something I need – the ability to have a page that would show a sortable block of portfolio grids, and on “hover” for a colored mask to cover up the item and also display the excerpt on top of it. I see that you have “70+ custom options” on the portfolio. I just didn’t see any examples of this in your demos – of course with all of your options, there’s no way you could show everything!

The 70+ custom options (now are 100) refer the options of the grid as you can read, just consider that all the blog posts, portfolio, products and media gallery grids and carousel are based on the same module. Let us know!

Hi cbmatthews, yes you can have this with the excerpt or full text cut, even if we don’t show example like this, having lot of text over thumbnails fails miserably on responsive scenarios, in fact on your site on some screen sizes your text exceed the available area. first of all thanks for this great theme, the last update went smooth and all the previously created pages still look perfectly in the front-end!
I’m reporting some minor issues / potential minor bugs
After the theme update I’m not anymore able to select the icons in the Visual Composer’s “Icon Box” element: in new and existing pages.
-> I’m still able to edit the shortcodes attributes in the text editor’s simple text mode.
Another little issue I’ve noticed: I get the following 404 error in the admin panel while editing articles and content blocks (not tried on other “edit” pages)
tinymce.min.js?ver=4310-20160418:11 GET [...]/wp-content/themes/uncode/core/assets/css/admin-custom.css?wp-mce-4310-20160418 404 (Not Found)
I’ve not been able to investigate on this but that’s what happened working with WPML (not related to the latest update)
We have a page using the “post module” from the Visual Composer… the shortcode is:

The base language loop is:
loop=”size:70|order_by:date|order:ASC|post_type:page|categories:52
First of all this shouldn’t work but it does: our data entry guy made a mistake the categories should be post related and not page related (according to the theme back end labels), for the pages we should use the tax_query (Taxonomy) field.
We duplicated the page (as it is) in another language, edited the query through the Visual composer removed the duplicated category and populated the taxonomy field.
-> in the simple text view the category shortcode wasn’t removed, we had to edit the generated shortcode in simple text mode removing old query parameters.
-> this could affect other scenarios if it’s not contained to the Visual Composer’s “post module” resulting in 0 OUTPUT in the front end

In the meanwhile I managed to find a major issue in Firefox: the header’s height increases on every menu item rollOver.. really weird behaviour..

Hi temraimi it seems you are report an issue with a very old theme version, have you update both the theme both the required plugins and deleted your browser cache? Ok, we check you ticket.
Unfortunately it’s the latest version.. Just downloaded and uploaded again, cleared caches but the issue is still there.
We’ve updated the Core plugin, the new visual composer etc..
Strange fact: if I revert to previous theme version and Visual composer the issue is still there (priorly to the update we’ve tested it intensively on Firefox and the issue was not happening before)
Anyway you’ll also see some screenshots I’ve attached in the support forum.
Hope we can find a quick fix.. if not I’ll have to revert to a FTP backup of a couple of day ago loosing some work: we are about to go live and since we work using Chrome we didn’t notice the issue ‘till the client we’re working for reported it to us..
In this case I can anyway clone the actual files and DB on a testing environment.

After reading documentation i ve seen no color settings for links & link hovers
IMHO u got to provide such options someway (in skins or columns or links themselves) because otherwise we cannot have links on accent color bg areas (and similar color combinations)

Yes we don’t have a specific options to modify the link and link hovers, this inherit the main accent color from Theme Options, if needed we can suggest just 2 line of CSS code to modify the link color both for the light and dark skin. i think u should add it as an option inside columns (like u have column bg colors) because links should get readable against bg colors…
alternative we can use buttons vs text links… (when possible)
