1. The Gird that is used in the V17 Home Page is a “Gallery Grid”, in which, when you click, the Image will open in Lightbox. In a “Gallery Grid”, you do not have the option to add Filters. Although, we have this feature in Pipeline for our future updates.
Alternatively, you can use a “Portfolio Grid” (like this – http://brandexponents.com/oshin/portfolio-without-gutter-4-column/) in which you have option to Categorise your items and add Filters. You can have GrayScale effect in a “Portfolio Grid” as well.
2. I am not sure if I understand this question? Could you please clarify, by “Change” do you mean to rearrange the items or what aspect of the grid are you looking to change?

I am using the v7 and i will like to select just 1 type of portfolio on my page to create uniformity as opposed to the 22 it came with. However, when i trashed the other 21, the portfolio page just has 1 box icon. Please view here to get an idea of what i am saying : luxedos.com/portfolio/
How can i duplicate this portfolio type to get it repeated and then use it for different projects.

You can you the Duplicate Post Plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/ , to clone the one Portfolio Item repetitively. And then just edit the images and content accordingly.

When you open page on mobile device with low res screen or just make small browser size on pc gallery looks good but when you scroll down page images became cropped or get incorrect size.

hello, your theme is cute, I can not have a cart WooCommerce and a second menu in the header to put access my account and cart logo. in my cart page displays nothing if I Bulder not disable the page. when I disable I see products placed to cart but the icon to remove the product is black and does not that way with the black background. can I change the color of the store without changing the theme of the site? cordially

1. The Cart is not displayed because the “Cart” shortcode is be default present in the Default Content Editor. You need to copy the shortcode and paste it in the Page Builder, in the “Plugin Shortcode” module.
2. About the color, the option to set the colors to the Buttons in the Shop and Cart pages are present in the Options Panel under OSHINE OPTIONS > SHOP SETTINGS.

The fix for the issue is patched in the latest version of the BE Page Builder plugin which is 4.4.2. I see that you have your scripts and css files minified. Please reset the minified scripts and disable the plugin to ensure that the latest files are loaded.

Based on your answers to other questions you seem to be a dedicated person, so please, I have been trying to get an answer to the first question below for over a week now, both on this forum and through your contact form. And now I have other questions as well. I am at my wits end…
1) I downloaded the V6 Page Builder demos, have been able to use the Contact-V6 and About-V6 pages, etc., but there is no Page Builder demo for a portfolio page, the main reason I purchased the theme and chose this particular version. I assume there is a demo Portfolio Page Builder. How can I access it?
2) The About-V6 demo page contains multiple images that, for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to delete or replace. They are not showing in Page Builder, I’ve searched everywhere. Grease Monkey shows that they are page content, Clearfix section overlays—where?
3) I would like my landing page to be my Work page when people go to www.mywebsite.com, not Oshine’s default home page (which I can’t even find, it’s not in pages). How do I set this up?

I finally figured out that the demo images can be found and changed or deleted in the Section headers (the black bars) in Page Builder, under Edit. So this leaves questions 1 and 3 unanswered. Thank you!

Yes, thank you, Swami, Ram has addressed and fixed all my issues very successfully, and I am happy! Apparently I had deleted all the portfolio files and modules, not sure how, but Ram replaced them.

The issue with the Google Maps API key is fixed in the latest version of the BE Page Builder Plugin. Kindly update the Theme and BE Page Builder to the latest versions and include your Maps API key in the Options Panel under OSHINE OPTIONS > GLOBAL SITE LAYOUT AND SETTINGS.

I have an issue with the filterable portfolio feature. I have to load all of the portfolio items before using the filter, otherwise it won’t display all of the items for that category. Is there a way that it will load the items once you click the category? Or is there any plans to implement this in the future?

Yes, it is the way the Filters work. The Filters will be applied only on the Images that are currently loaded in the Page . We are working on other options to enable loading after the Filters are clicked and based on the feasibility will patch a fix in the future updates.

Not understanding the purpose of importing theme data. I imported theme v22, but NONE of the elements are present for editing. It looks like v22 but all the pages are default and blank, I can’t customize the theme.

1. Which template file can I copy to child theme to add a custom field under the project title on the portfolio page? I searched in the file and I couldn’t find the matching file.
2. How can I edit the default hero section and change the overlay image and its size?
3. Which template file could I copy to the child theme to edit the lightbox in the portfolio? I’d like to add a text description underneath the lightbox.

1. Can you tell me which Portfolio Type you are using in your page, and probably provide a link to this page, so I can assist you accordingly.
2. The option to set the height for the Hero Section is present in the OSHINE – HEADER AND HERO SECTIONS metabox . The option is named “Custom Height” . The value should be given in Pixels.
3. We have built in option to add description/caption to the image, and this caption will be displayed beneath the image when it opens in lightbox. You need to add the caption to the by editing the featured image in the media library and enter your caption in the TITLE field.

Thanks for the help! All set on number 1 and 2. For the lightbox (3rd question), I’m using a Youtube link and although I added a caption in the title field for the featured image, nothing shows up under the lightbox video when it’s playing. Is this only possible with an image? Or would I do something differently for a video?
One last question: is there a way I could make a link on the menu that will trigger a lightbox video to pop up on any page? Thank you!

Yes, the Title is possible only on a Lightbox Image. Unfortunately option to add title in Videos is not an option currently. And, apologies, it is not possible to make a Menu Link pop open a video in Lightbox.

Hello again. It seems that “portfolio grid” displays all portfolios in the order according to their creation dates. Is there any way to display them alphabetically, or I have to manually adjust the dates for that?

You will have to change the published dates to change the order in which the products are shown. Alternatively you can try the POST TYPE ORDER plugin which lets you reorder items using drag & drop. However, the plugin will be compatible, only if you do not use Infinite Scroll or Load More pagination in your portfolio grid.

Do you mean to ask about changing the Menu Links in the Site. To edit the menu, you need to navigate to APPEARANCES > MENUS and there you can find the option to change the Label of each of the Menu Links added. Make the changes and click on Save Menu to Save your changes.

Hi Guys I’ve set a jump to button on a site for a client its just a simple one page site, that it works fine on the desk top but on a mobile it doesn’t work any ideas?
Also can you tell me how to remove the menu stack from the mobile also, as there will be no navigation apart from a contact button in the header.

1. To remove the Mobile Menu Icon you can use the CSS code below-

You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS .
2. About the Navigation issue with the Contact Button – there seems to be a lot of Javascript errors in the Console, that are caused by some of your 3rd party plugins. We need to disable the plugins to check if that fixes the issue. If you are unable to identify which plugin is causing this, kindly email me your URL, wp-admin id and password via the Private Message form in the support tab and we will investigate further.

This could be a Permalink issue. Kindly go to SETTINGS -> PERMALINKS, set the type to “Default”. Save the settings, then subsequently set the type to “Postname” and save the settings again. This will usually refresh the permalinks by regenerating the htaccess file again. Let me know if it works. This is a core wordpress issue and is not related to the theme.
