1) You can check out a video of our current admin panel here however in our 5.0 version coming out soon we will be moving to a newly developed options panel. The transition will be seamless for existing customers and the interface will remain visually the same. You can read more about it on this blog post from a couple of days ago (theme options section).

2) Yes, you can assign different menus to different pages, and we even provide several types of blank templates that you can use as needed. You can check them out here.

3) Visual Composer is an option for our customers and included with your purchase however the vast majority of our customers use Cornerstone for page building. This tool was developed exclusively by Themeco in house, is compatible with all themes, and is a wonderful 100% front-end page builder.

Thanks for writing in! You can certainly run WooCommerce on your main site URL, in conjunction with your main site without having them split like this. However, since your current setup is this way, you will need to work to migrate things to the main URL yourself and get it setup to work that way, which is not something the theme would do out of the box, you would need to manage that whole process of getting your server setup the way you want, but once you’re up and running, you can achieve what you’re referencing. Absolutely. My client had 2 people create 2 different sites using Godaddy tools. I am going to basically reset everything they have, use traditional hosting, and install WordPress. If I am reading your response correctly, once I do that, using x Theme as described shouldn’t be a problem, correct?

As a theme, X will provide styling and all the design features you need to build your site. Translation management would be the responsibility of a WordPress plugin. There are many you can use, and we integrate with WPML.

Thanks for writing in! There is certainly a degree of customizability when it comes to our headers, and each Stack is a little different, but you can always change things like positioning (top, left, right), fixed or not fixed, link and logo colors, sizes, and positioning, et cetera.

Regarding the shop, you can have a fullwidth shop but the maximum columns allowed to show products is 4.

Absolutely. There are many X powered sites running at that threshold. X is designed to load as quickly as possible, even with the quantity of features offered. Optimizing features for front end speed is an important part of our process, and on the right hosting, you’ll have no problems using X on a site of that magnitude. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Another question. my site uses featured images for each article which I think is part of Wordpress and not specific to my current theme (Thesis). It uses the featured images for archive and search pages. I set the first image in each article to that same image.

If I switch over to X, will I see the first image duplicated for each excerpt on the home page and article pages?

We just use WordPress’ standard “Featured Image” upload as you mentioned, which is pulled through to different parts of the theme, so you should be fine. Do keep in mind that any non-standard features from previous themes will not migrate with your move though. Without knowing the exact specifics of your setup we can’t say with 100% certainty it will all move over as expected, but if you’re at least using the “Featured Image” upload you should be fine as X utilizes this as well.

Thanks for writing in. While we don’t offer exact demo content for our X home page, you can achieve something similar. First, import the Ethos 3 demo content. This will setup your design settings to look similar, including the nav bar. Next, create a page in Cornerstone and add the “Sales Page” Cornerstone template. This template is based on the content of our X home page, and features many of the same elements and sections. Finally, from the WordPress editor, you can assign a revolution slider above the masthead. This will allow you to place the full screen image at the top.
