1. The Background Image does not occupy the Full Screen, because when the screen size reduces to mobile dimension, the height of the section will be according to the padding that you set on the section’s settings. You can use the CSS below, to force the image to occupy full screen on mobile.

3. a. The option to disable Like Icon (Heart Icon) and change the Hover Color of the Portfolio Thumbnail is present in the Portfolio Module itself

b. Both the Links that you have given does not seem to use the Sidebar pages. They have set to use Full Screen Slider portfolio. To have a sidebar and Images in Slider, you can choose the Single Portfolio Style as “Single Page Page Builder” and add the Images in a “BE Image Slider” module in the Page Builder, like this example here – http://oshine.wpengine.com/blog/portfolio/sidebar-slider/ .

1. Yes we will have this fixed, by probably adding a Thumbnail in the carousel that represents the Text Area. We will patch this fix in one of our upcoming update.

2. Yes I see this but however, the Script that is used for the Carousels work in such a way that in includes the Gutter width along with the width of the Image to align the items. Unfortunately, i don’t think this can be modified in the theme.

3. Sure we will consider this feature and work on the design feasibility. And include the feature in our future updates.

As theme authors, we have an extended license for the Master Slider & Revolution slider plugin and an exclusive purchase code that allows us to include the plugin with theme and allow theme buyers to use the plugin for free. Unfortunately you cannot use the Oshine purchase code for activating & automatically updating included premium plugins. The activation option is exclusively for those users who have purchased a license for the plugin directly from code canyon. The oshine purchase code can only be used for one click updates of the theme. For updating BE Page Builder you don’t need any verification and updates will be available automatically.

Premium Paid Plugins such as Master Slider & Revolution Slider, bundled with the theme are not eligible for auto-updates ( Not just our theme but its the same case with plugins bundled in other theme. ), but we will be periodically updating the plugins along with the theme updates so that you stay current. You do not have to Activate the License in order to be able to use the plugin.

Apologies, but there ins’t an option the images in the Right Floating Sidebar Page in Lightbox. The Lightbox is possible only in Grid Gallery or Lightbox Image Portfolio.

You can link either a Youtube , Vimeo or a Self Hosted video to the Image in the grid that will open in Lightbox.

Yes you can have Sub Category for Portfolio Posts as well.

1. Yes you can add Caption Beneath the Image in the grid, that will open the video in Ligthbox. You have to create the items as Portfolio Posts in this case and we have instructions on how this should be done in our Knowledge Base – brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/.

2. The search page in your template will resemble the Template that you choose for the Blog page and this will pick the terms that you add for the Video Items and the Tags. The Blog Settings options are available in the options Panel in the theme. The search page in V20 demo is here – http://oshine.wpengine.com/v20/?s=Dizifilms .

3. Yes you can have a Secondary Menu in selected Header Style. For Ex. The header style in this demo – http://oshine.wpengine.com/v11/ uses a Top bar in which you can add the Secondary Menu.

Kindly ensure that you have not “Checked” the option called “Disable Visual Editor” for the particular user in the Wordpress Dashboard under USERS > EDIT USER.

Also disable any 3rd party plugin that might be causing the conflict as well.

I have tried all of that, the visual editor disable is not checked, all added plugins are not activated, I even went as far as turning off all the plugins just to be sure. I still can’t get it to work. It still locks up and won’t allow me to write or add any text in the visual fields.

The styling is not taking effect because you have pasted the css code within the ‘pre’ tags that was used for formatting the code here in the comments section. Please remove the open and close ‘pre’ tags and that should fix the issue.

I presume your are mentioning about the gap above the last row in the portfolio grid. I have tried some test cases, but unable to replicate this in our test or demo sites. Unfortunately, you have overlooked the clear note that is added in the knowledge base which says about the settings getting overridden. I am quoting the note here as well -

“Please note that by choosing ALL or just the OPTIONS, all the settings in the OSHINE OPTIONS PANEL will be overwritten. So incase you are importing data from multiple demos, ensure you just choose “CONTENT” and then when you are finally done import just the pages from different demos, Import the “OPTIONS PANEL SETTINGS” of a particular demo of your choice. All the demos were created using the various settings available in the options panel & the page builder. So you can mix and match layouts and features from various demos by modifying the settings in Options panel accordingly.”

I can suggest a couple alternatives for you now -

1. If you remember which demo you had imported earlier and had not customised the settings, you can simply get it back by navigating to APPEARANCES > IMPORT DEMO DATA and choose to import just the “options panel settings” of that demo again.

2. If you have set up a server backup, you can restore a copy so that the settings are back in place.

Please follow the steps below to set up a Mega Menu. Navigate to Appearances > Menu and follow the steps below –

Step 1 – On Right top corner of the screen you should be ‘Screen Options’, Enable ‘Css Classes’ in this list of options

Step 2 – Open the Menu item, that needs to be configured as Mega Menu. And add the classes ‘mega‘ and (‘columns-2’ , ‘columns-3’ or ‘columns-4’) in the Css Classes options, depending on the number of columns you need.

Step 3 – In addition to this, if you need the First Item in the Sub Menu Columns to be highlighted , you need to assign the class ‘highlight’ to the First Item in the sub menu in respective columns.

Apologies about this and we will have the issue fixed at the earliest in our upcoming update. Meanwhile you can use the alternative style (One Column) of Contact Form that is available in the module.

I assume we are talking about this site – http://braingymcourses.com/ and I cannot be a Sub Menu here. Looks like you have removed it. However I see that you have set a very high value for Logo Padding under OSHINE OPTIONS > LOGO. If you reduce this, or even set it to 0, the space will be reduced in turn.

The number of lines is definitely not 1500 and of the several ways in which Dynamic CSS can be added to the file, adding the code in the head tag is the most optimal way. We had originally adopted a different method and then switched to this for better performance and quality. This practice, if you might notice is also followed by many of the other top authors as well. That said, this will not affect the SEO of the site negatively.
