I am glad you like the theme. About the issue you are having, The issue would have occurred if you had an older version of Oshine Theme while updating the Page Builder. To fix the issue, You have update the theme to its latest version via the METHOD 2 – USING THE FTP as mentioned in this link here -http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/update-theme/ .

If you are not aware to using the FTP method, do email us your URL, wp-admin id and password along with the FTP details (Host URL, username and password) so we can restore it for you.

Email the details via the Private Message form in the Support Tab in themeforest and the support team will attend to this..

You need to use 2 different Menu Locations for Left and Right site. Navigate to APPEARANCES > MENUS, choose the Menu for Left Side from the Drop down and “enable” the “left side main menu” options from the Checkbox at the bottom of the page and “Save the Menu”. Likewise, for the right side, repeat the steps, and choose “right side main menu” in the checkbox. There ins’t any known issue with the sample slider shipped and the buyers have not reported any error as yet. Have you checked you memory limits to see if that is causing the issue. This kind of Search Bar is possible only by adding the Search Widget in the Sidebar of the Page. Unfortunately, there ins’t an option to add Sidebar Widgets in the Portfolio Post Page.

Apologies, but there ins’t an option to hide the section in desktop. You need to add a Class/ID to the section and write custom CSS code to have it hidden in desktop.

1. There ins’t an option to make the section occupy the Full Screen height in mobile device. However, you can use the CSS code below to make the hero section full screen -

You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS .

2. The instructions to build a Single Page Site is given in this link in our knowledge base – http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/set-up-single-page-site/ . You can set each of them as Sections in the Page builder with Section ID, and link the navigation menu to each of the Sections accordingly.

Have you downgraded Wordpress or Oshine? The issue with the Media Uploader should not occur if the version of theme you are having is 4.2 or higher. Let me know if you require further clarifications?

Apologies, the Blog Module in the Page Builder does not have the option to pull just the specific category of blog posts. You can alternatively use the default archive pages that are created by Wordpress and add them as individual pages in your menu.

About the missing Primary Content – we have revised the organisation of our Import Content in the latest version of BE One Click Import Plugin. In this version, we have removed the Primary Content and integrated it with each of the demo data. So your import process is simplified where you just have to directly choose the demo of your choice and Click on Import.

1. Unfortunately, the term “PORTFOLIO CATEGORY” cannot be removed from the Page Title or the Breadcrumbs bar in the Portfolio Taxonomy Pages.

2. The option to change the labels in the PORTFOLIO DETAILS module is possible with some amount of code change in the Oshine Child theme. Kindly follow the instructions below to change the Labels -

a. Under Appearances > themes, Upload the File named ‘oshine_child.zip’ that is present in the Buyer’s Package.

b. Activate the Oshin Child Theme

c. Log into your server using FTP, and open the oshin_child folder under wp-content/themes

d. Edit the functions.php file to add the following lines of code -

1. The Background Image does not occupy the Full Screen, because when the screen size reduces to mobile dimension, the height of the section will be according to the padding that you set on the section’s settings. You can use the CSS below, to force the image to occupy full screen on mobile.

3. a. The option to disable Like Icon (Heart Icon) and change the Hover Color of the Portfolio Thumbnail is present in the Portfolio Module itself

b. Both the Links that you have given does not seem to use the Sidebar pages. They have set to use Full Screen Slider portfolio. To have a sidebar and Images in Slider, you can choose the Single Portfolio Style as “Single Page Page Builder” and add the Images in a “BE Image Slider” module in the Page Builder, like this example here – http://oshine.wpengine.com/blog/portfolio/sidebar-slider/ .
