Apologies, but there ins’t an option to selectively choose the pages that you need import in the site. You can only import all the contents of a specific demo at once. However, while importing the content, the pages that you have not deleted yet, will not get Duplicated as we check for the name of the page and timestamp in which it is created before importing it again.

Note that, you need to back up the options panel data prior to importing the content, so that you can restore the site settings in case you need it.

The styling added in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS will be added to the dynamic style sheet when the page is rendered and it cannot be added along with the style.css file in the theme. The CSS that you add in the custom CSS section will take effect on your pages, and you would not require a consolidated CSS file.

1. To make the links of the social media icons open in a new tab. Kindly add the attribute new_tab= ”1” to the Icon shortcode.

2. These text strings are hard coded in the BE Page Builder and they have also been localized with thetext domain ‘be-themes’ and are ready for translation. Instructions to translate the text strings is available in our documentation here in this link:

You can translate them using the POEDIT software or Codestyle localization plugin.

You need to translate the THEME as well as BE Page Builder plugin in order to cover all the text strings used that can be translated.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing the theme. The individual Slide in this portfolio slider, are separate images and their meta data does not include a Title and Description. However, you have provision to add a Caption to each of these images in their Media Library property that will be pulled up in the bottom left corner of each of image in the Slider. The issue would have occurred if you had an older version of Oshine Theme while updating the Page Builder. To fix the issue, You have update the theme to its latest version via the METHOD 2 – USING THE FTP as mentioned in this link here -http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/update-theme/ .

Could you please check if you have any other 3rd party plugin enabled on the site which is conflicting with the Page Builder? For instance if WP Editor plugin is enabled, the Page Builder edit does not work. If the issue persists, please email the link to your site along with the wp-admin id and password so I can investigate further.

By the way, i do not see the Supported Tag beside your account name. If your support pack is expired, kindly renew it to avail further support for the theme.

I am not sure if you are looking to add your API key to the script that we have included in the theme or if you need to deregister the script that we have included. Please find the instructions for both the cases below -

1. To add the API key, ensure you have the latest version of the Theme and BE page builder plugin. Follow the instructions here to generate your API Key – https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key/ and add the key under OSHINE OPTIONS > GLOBAL SITE LAYOUT AND SETTINGS.

2. To remove the Google Maps API script that is included by the theme, you need to install and activate the Oshine Child theme, and add the following piece of code in the functions.php file in it.

Apologies, but there isn’t an option to have different logos on the various pages of the site. However, we have option to upload 3 types of logos to suit the Header Style in the page -

1. Default Logo – where the header has a solid BG – Ex – http://oshine.wpengine.com/services/

2. Light Scheme Logo – where the header is transparent and the logo and menu should be light to suit the BG image – Ex – http://oshine.wpengine.com/home-3/

3. Dark Scheme Logo – where the header is transparent and the logo and menu should be dark to suit the BG image – Ex – http://oshine.wpengine.com/about-us/

You might notice that we are using a differently Coloured logo for Light and Dark scheme pages. If you are willing to use different Header Style in your English and Swedish pages, then you can use these options to upload a different logo for these pages. Let me know if you need further explanation.

Thank you for your compliment and I am glad you like the theme. There is one variation to the Floating panel that is preset for the Slider Page, which is to show the Contents of the Page Builder as the First Slide in the Carousel Slider, instead of the Floating panel. This option is present in the Gallery Options metabox in the page. We have showcased this in this page of the demo – http://oshine.wpengine.com/v24/home-carousel/ .

Thank you for your reply. I will try this Slider. I have one more question regarding the theme. I use SEO by Yoast plug in for SEO optimization of my website and this plug in doesn’t recognize the text written in the page builder. Is there any way to change that?

Hi,

The content will be scanned by the search engine robots. The only know limitation thus far is that the plugin is not able to scan the keyword in the backend, which is generally used to know if the keywords are sufficiently placed. However this does not affect the google bots and other search engine robots can read the content in the front end, so it has no effect on your actual SEO.
