1. Yes you can have the Images occupy the entire height of the Page, by setting the Slider Height as 100 (%) in the Gallery Page Template options metabox. Also by setting the Header Style as “Transparent” in the Header and Hero Section metabox, you can get the Image to occupy the entire length including the Header’s height.

2. The quality of the image depends on the dimension of image that you are uploading in the module. If you can give me the link to the page, I can check if the dimension of the images are sufficient.

3. The Lightbox Gallery included in the theme, does not have the Thumbnail option and I am not sure if this is what you are mentioning about. Kindly email the link to this page so I can check the issue.

The required dimension for the Portfolio thumbnail is 650px by 410px. Kindly modify the image sizes accordingly. It is likely that the images are stretched due to this reason.

If the issue persists, please provide the link to your site so I can check what might be causing the error.

We do not modify the Colors of the images in the theme. We use the default wordpress cropping to crop the image to the required dimension. Kindly give the link to your page where you think the natural color is incorrect so i can check what might be causing the issue.

By the way, i do not see the Supported Tag beside your account Name here. Kindly renew your support pack to avail further support for the theme.

The issue would have occurred if you had an older version of Oshine Theme while updating the Page Builder. To fix the issue, You have update the theme to its latest version via the METHOD 2 – USING THE FTP as mentioned in this link here -http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/update-theme/ .

Hi Alexander Mooi,

I checked your site and in these pages you are loading hundreds of items in one load, which is why it is taking a lot of time. You should paginate your gallery and use the INFINITE SCROLL / LOAD MORE OPTIONS available for the Portfolio Module, to split your work in batches and load more items as a scrolls down.

1. Apologies but this option is not been added yet. We have this feature in pipeline for our future updates and will notify once it is patched in the theme code.

2. The size of the Image that you upload in the Content Slider depends on the size that you pick from the Drop Down while adding Image in the Content Editor using the ADD MEDIA button. The default Thumbnail size defined in Wordpress is 120px by 120px. You can try uploading a slightly bigger image and update the Thumbnail size under SETTINGS > MEDIA as 90px by 90px.

3. We have disabled the Width setting as the screen size reduces in order to make use of the available screen real estate. However to override this, you can use the custom CSS code below -

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .be-text-inner{
      width: auto !important;
    }
}

You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.

1. Okay…thank you. Hopeful this will make it’s way soon. About the only thing I wish I could change about the theme.

2. Darn…I adjusted the settings to actually be 50×50 and while it imports into the builder the right size it still shows large. I’ve left it in so you can see it:

(second logo in the slider – the big A). Any suggestions?

3. I’ve put this in the custom css and it still is wrapping weird and breaking words on smartphone vertical. Any other suggestions?

3. Although the entire width is getting used, the length of the words are big for the screen size which is why it breaks. You can use the option to adjust the typography in mobile devices and further reduce the size of H2 to 20 from 22 which might contain the text in a mobile device.

Unfortunately, there ins’t an option to add text beneath the Images while using it in a Gallery Grid as in V17 home page. Alternatively, you can add Caption to the Image when it is opened in Lightbox. The caption to the Image should be added as the Description of the Image , by editing the Image in Media Library.

1. The color that you set for the Navigation Menu under OSHINE OPTIONS > TYPOGRAPHY > MAIN NAVIGATION MENU will take effect only on Default Header Style and not on Pages with Transparent Headers. On Pages that you set Transparent Header, the Color of the Menu link is fixed to a Dark and Light Shade of grey depending on the Color Scheme that you choose.

You can use the CSS code below to adjust the shades -

#header-inner-wrap.background--dark.transparent #navigation{
    color: #f5f5f5;    
}

#header-inner-wrap.background--light.transparent #navigation{
    color: #333;
}

You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.

I gave that a try, but it’s still not working properly. It doesn’t matter if I choose the light, dark, or default colour scheme for the page, the menu text remains white, with a grey background. It seems like the light colour theme isn’t working properly?

And the colour applied with the css only seems to get applied to the menu that gets loaded for a split second before being overwritten. (I’m in Australia with second rate internet loading speeds, in the US this first load might not even be noticeable, not sure about India.)

Although the default Recent Posts widget in the theme does not have this option, you can use 3rd party plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/recent-posts-widget-extended/ which has option to limit the posts based on Category in the widget area.
