Hello, I cannot locate any tutorials on how to set up and configure the Wide Flex Slider. Could you show me where this is located?

The ROW which encloses the flex slider module needs to be unwrapped , in order for the slider to occupy the entire screen’s width. Kindly edit the ROW in the Page Builder and check the “NO WRAP” setting. Let me know if this helps, otherwise kindly share the link to your page with the slider and I will guide you accordingly.

Hello in the oshine demo v1 there is an image in the background you slide over. I have searched the settings numerous times but i cannot find the location where i can change this image. Can anybody help me out with this.

Did you mean to ask about the Main Home Page Slider which has the Image and text over it? If so, this Slider is created using the Master Slider plugin that is included with the theme. Firstly, ensure that you have imported the sample Slider that is shipped along with the theme package as per the instructions in this section of the article – http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/import-demo-content/#masterslider . Once you have imported the Sample Slider, you need to copy the Slider’s Shortcode (https://cl.ly/0u0k3u193a3o) and paste in the the Header Hero Section option in the respective page (https://cl.ly/352n0X2a3Y2t).
To edit the Slides you need to navigate to MASTERSLIDER page in the dashboard and edit the slider images.

1) I seem to have a problem with the mobile menu when it’s displayed at the bottom. It’s sliding down and auto-collapsing all the time. I’ve used this code and it worked for the front page.

However, when I’m using the menu on other pages that are not structured with a fullscreen image/slider, I’m using the upper menu instead. So the there’s a different problem – now the upper menu slides up, so the content of the menu is hidden.
As I saw this is planned to be fixed. But for the moment, perhaps one of the alternatives is to switch off the auto-collapsing with CSS.. can you guide trough how it’s done? Or any other suggestions?
2) Is there a way to remove a logo from one of the menus, since there are 3 types of them? Currently the logo on the front page is displayed on the slider, but on the other pages I want it to be shown. At the moment, I’m simply using a transparent image to do so but the link box remains, so perhaps there is a cleaner way?

1. Can you give me the link to your site, so I can test the CSS code on all pages and provide the right one?
2. You can use custom CSS code to hide the logo from specific pages. You can use the page-id class to target the specific pages -
.page-id-2 .logo{ opacity: 0; }
You need to paste the code in the custom css section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.
If you cannot identify the Page Id, please provide the link to the pages so I can provide the exact CSS code.

The Full Screen Sliders used in the demo are created using master Slider and slider revolution plugin. Both these plugins are included as part of the theme package . We have also included the Sample Sliders used in the demo sites and the instructions to import the sliders can be found in the link and respectively.
To have additional fields added to the contact form, you can use the CONTACT FORM 7 plugin which has option to create a form with fields that you need and you can add it to the page using the PLUGIN SHORTCODE module in the Page Builder.

You can set Footer – Widget 1 as Custom Menu under OSHINE OPTIONS > FOOTER SETTINGS and set the Footer Style as Vertical to get the Menu links to appear above the Copyright text.

Hi! I have a problem. I followed the Steps to create a Single Page Site http://www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/set-up-single-page-site/ but the menu is not working properly. I’ve checked it many times. When I click at any menu item in CHROME not work, and when I click at any menu item in browser EXPLORER they also do not work at all. Some items of menu work in chrome, others in explorer. The www.url.com/page/#sectionID it does not go to the correct position

Hi,
On inspecting the site in the browser I see that issue is because of the “casing” of the id. You have capitalised the id’s in the Page Builder section, while used Lowercase in the menu. For ex – our Olivar section id is “Olivar” but the corresponding menu link is http://terraolivarum.com/#olivar . Changing this should fix the issue.

Unfortunately, there ins’t an option to add the menu in 3 columns on clicking the Menu Icon.
The multi column menu (Mega Menu) is however possible in a normal Menu style that is showcased in our main demo here – oshine.wpengine.com

If you are using the BE page builder for the Blog Posts, you need to additionally enable the option under OSHINE OPTIONS > BLOG SETTINGS > Enable Page Builder for Single Blog Posts for the contents to show up in the post page.

Apologises, but there ins’t an option to modify the size of the arrow. That said, we have 2 styles of lightbox available in the theme out of which you can use the following CSS code to increase the size of the Magnific Pop up style lightbox -
.mfp-arrow-right:after, .mfp-arrow .mfp-a, .mfp-arrow-left:after, .mfp-arrow .mfp-b{ font-size: 30px; }
You need to paste the code in the custom CSS section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.

Good afternoon,
I am currently looking at upgrading my website to a more minimal theme. I would like to have a front page which displays my blog posts while been able to endlessly scroll down. Once clicked on a blog post it would open up. The only other feature I would like is an about/contact page. Would this be possible with this theme?

Hi Andy,
Yes you can set the Home page with Blog Posts. The Infinite Scrolling option is available only on One Style of Blog present in the theme which is the Masonry grid Style showcased here – oshine.wpengine.com/v6/blog . Clicking on the post will open up the individual Blog post page and in addition to that you can have the other 2 pages of your choice.

Quick question for you. I’m having a problem using the header hero option on this page: http://www.pollysue.com/practice/contact/.
I’ve specified the a custom height of 500 px, for the section and the image I’ve put in the header is also 500 px in height. As you can see, the image is huge. I’ve tried just about every combination of commands in the section to get the image fit in that width. I know i’m missing something, but I can’t figure out what it is.
Can you point me in the right direction?

Currently the image is not showing up in the hero section, however the height of the hero section is 500px which is what you have set up. Does the issue (with image size) occur only if an image is uploaded in the hero section? If so, please send a screenshot of the error, or upload an image in the page so I can check what is causing it.

Sorry about that. I forgot to add the image back—I’ve just done so: http://www.pollysue.com/practice/contact/. I don’t know if the problem occurs with a vector graphic or something of that nature. I’ve only tried to use a photo with a specified height in the hero section.

Correct. The Hero Section does display at 500 pixels. However, the full image is not displayed in the Hero Section—only the upper portion of the photo. Here’s the entire image I want to show: http://www.pollysue.com/practice/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/psp-phone-left.jpg. What’s happening is that the image isn’t scaling correctly. The larger the screen the page is viewed on the less of the image is displayed. On some screens all that is displayed is from her nose up.
How do I get the entire image to display regardless of the screen?

The Image will scale up to occupy the width of the container when you upload it as BG to the section and enable the Cover Property. To have the entire image show up, you can
1. Disable the COVER option (Scale Image to Fill Container) in the HERO Section. In this case the image might not occupy the full width in all screens as the width of the image is only around 1000px. You will have to upload a bigger image that has a width of 1920px.
OR
2. You can set the BG Image Position as “Center Center” in the HERO SECTION option so that the center of the image is in focus both horizontally and vertically.

Kindly edit the page and the Header Hero Section Settings panel, set the Header Style as “Default” instead of “Transparent”. This will ensure that the image is placed beneath the header.

Hello I like your work and I would like to purchase this template, however I have one question before doing so. I would like to us the v2 setup but on my PC when I go to the homepage in order to scroll I have to use the wheel of the mouse, can that be change so it has like arrow, because not everyone might know or have a wheel mouse. We have responded to your email regarding the question too. Like mentioned there, yes, it is possible to have arrows displayed in the Slider that is used in the V2 demo and you can use the Arrows to scroll in addition to the Mouse Scroll.
