The design is beautiful, however, the documentation is quite weak. There are parts where I am completely lost with what I am doing. I’d suggest that the team hire someone who can write a robust documentation that everyone can easily follow. But otherwise, the theme looks amazing.

Hi, I have some questions if you don’t mind.
1) is it possible to edit or remove the “add to cart” or “select options” button that appears on the mouse hover on product listings? 2) is it possible to remove the cart icon on the bottom right of the screen? 3) is it possible to make unavailable variants disappear when selected rather than an “X” over them? 4) is it possible to change the background color of the header? 5) can the loading animation be disabled? 6) can quickview be disabled?

I have a question for you.
Take for instance, I want to build my fashion shop around 3 categories, women, men and children wear.
So I have 3 megamenu or simple drop down menu on the header ie women, men and children.
Now, for the home page, I will be using the banner pre-made layout.
Can I create a different home page for each different category ? ie. wide pre-made layout for women category, classic pre-made layout for men category and lookbook pre-made layout for children category ?
Can it be done ?

Shopify package has no html version. We sell html and shopify versions as different projects. Shopify theme you can install in 2 clicks: 1) upload 2) publish
nice and the shopify version? will it be easy to also connect the ADD TO CART option and all of those paying options with my account? if so this is my last question i will buy it right away.
Seiko is just a simple theme with classic ajax add to cart and shopify payments. If your other Shopify theme has 3rd part extentions that require special includes in theme files you need paste them in Seiko theme files too. Seiko not influence on classic checkout and payments in Shopify. You need undrestand that this is a clean theme without your own modules/shortcodes/payments by default.

Okay, making the style sheet seems fairly easy. but how do we get infinite options to call this styling? or will it do it automatically?

Does anyone know if the side panel works on mobile?
Hi! Left panel side can be visible only in desctop.
Then this theme truly doesn’t have vertical and horizontal menus. It is very misleading – since most people use mobile nowadays – and that is where dual menus would be most needed – since there is less space on mobile. The vertical layout on desktop is more more aesthetics and not function.
We decided clone menu items from left side panel to mobile menu as option. If you want you will be able check/uncheck this option in version 1.5
No, what I am saying is – it would be nice if it worked on mobile.

OH BROTHA! Maybe it’s just me! so much problems and so much bugs I have no idea how to proceed anymore. I’m stuck on red on google pagespeed 50/100! You guys loads over 30 css and js files in the header creating a ridiculous render blocking issue that don’t only upset google, but me and every single visitors to my site. I’m maintaining using gulp and with all the plugins thrown at this thing yet 50/100 ON RED DAMN IT! someone outta get smarter in this business!
Plus my site look like vomit, while your template looks suburb! umm customized images? well with all these css and js mayhem not even one is called fake-image-resizer or cropper so any image would sit nicely in the design. NOW I GOT VOMIT for a fashion site. Two weeks of bad news and dealing with buts not i can even feel them in my head. D you guys offer refunds?

Theme can’t work without them, we can give you refund, but we do not see such request in admin panel.
I kinda have my back against the wall bro! I’ve put two weeks into this and have changed my whole menu structure to meet seiko standard and I’m a little desperate right now. Can the developer redistribute the theme dependencies in a smarter way, just load what’s really needed at the top and move the really unneeded load to the bottom. Check it for yourself, every theme on the forest pass the google pagespeed with atleast 70/100 or better but seiko get a 46/100 and do worst on desktop. Can you guys atleast put me on at 70/100 and I can manage the rest I DON’T EVEN CARE PAYING FOR IT – I just need this to work for me please

Hey all – per my question above from last week, after removing the “pre-built” home pages from the update – (without notifying users that updating would remove this option, leaving us with only the default index page) – you indicated there would be instructions in the documentation to allow us to reconstruct our home page(s) – as they were prior to the update. As of this writing – I don’t see where this has been done?
The only thing I see in the docs is this:
“ Our demo has in one store all home pages at the same time. Downloaded theme can has one home page. There no ability assign other home pages as simple pages like in demo. But we can discuss this bigstepscenter@gmail.com”
Is THIS your solution or workaround for those of us who used the theme - built a site - updated - only to find our previously designed home page is no longer available - and there are no instructions on how to remedy it?
(and – you are STILL selling/listing all of the home pages on the theme sales page – which is 100% misleading to anyone buying the theme, predicated on that expectation)
We left you a really nice review (you are using it on the item description) but I’m not thrilled with the theme and quality of communication since – the changes made in your last update are a pretty big deal (totally changing the way content is displayed/managed and built in the shopify customizer/ecosystem) – and think you owe us a better explanation and workaround to recreate our site – than what you’ve offered thus far.
(we’ve actually had to remove Seiko from our store as a result)
Hi! I remember about your request. We want to do some revolutions in theme. You had old workable version 1.x Version 1.3-1.4 another version (revolution). We redesigned and rebuilt conceptions, but this update only destroyed different pre-defined configsets home pages from old versions of Seiko. Easy variant to use version older 1.3 But we want progress with theme..And In update 1.5 (still in progress) I am realizing choosing of different home pages in one click again.
I just love this theme! But after I paid for it I was so excited to set up and launch it, BOOM! the unexpected happen hits me… I have to sit there and create colors thumbs 100 1000 of them (that is a turn off). Then BOOM AGAIN! I have to retags all my thousands of products to add sizes, colors, even brands (which can easily found in the variants) I’m getting really mad at the developers after paying for this theme. YET BOOM AGAIN! at my product details page, the images are stretched beyond their size and look so ugly ( this can be fixed with smarter codes and testing on development side). while resizing the browser the images resize in a out of control ways and degrade badly. Can anyone help me surmount these issues please or do I have to hire another developer to fix this theme correctly?

Red color pic, Yellow color pic. Shopify has not free extentions per/month for realizing such color swatches. We give free solution with theme and we not deceive customers (we show this info in free online documentation, first link in our intro). About tags – such history as with colors. I wrote in doc that our filter sidebar works as all bestsellers Shopify themes based on tags http://seiko-shopify.big-skins.com/manuals/#SetupSidebarFilter . It adds flexibility for Shopify. It’s a shame that you accuse me of those paragraphs, as I showed in the open online document that do not make other developers. About problem with product sizes – Yes, it we have to optimize. I like for such bug you have found and in wishlist. We note such bug in bugslist and apply fixed to clients ourselves.
First, I’m not accusing you at all! Let it be known that i’m switching from the very top best seller theme on themeforest . I’ve been looking at themes for 2 weeks none stop and nothing got my attention until Seiko was considered. But I feel like there are technical stuff that the none developer clients should not have to deal with giving the fact that all the datas already exist in the option e.g sizes/colors and others. I’ve been looking for ways to bypass this barrier and found this tutorial in the shopify docs https://help.shopify.com/themes/customization/showcase-products/add-color-swatches and i’m pulling my hair, why oh why these developer did not do that and leave me with the choice of just help the script when needed? I can close my eyes on the other stuff I’ve reported but I just cannot overcome this huve burden of creating color swatches for many thousands of items. I’m talking about creating the thumbs for the small colored images . I am not worrying, and don’t care so much about the color configurable feature thingy for now! I just want color swatches on the fly even if I have to pay a price for them…can anyone help a know- no- code me?

Hi! Shopify has no functionality for updating theme files without replacing theme files (custom changes related with theme will be destroyed). But we can send you diff files by mail . All our projects we keep in subversion systems. I’ve described how update themes with patches http://seiko-shopify.big-skins.com/manuals/#ThemeUpdate Really it is not very easy. We are honest to customers. If you can’t to do it I can give my developer time for this. But it is not free, my developer has own hour/rate. In such case our developer can update you customized theme without removing your changes, Ask this request by mail and we will discuss. We have already did such work with our seiko customized themes.
