Hi – after the latest update from a Newspaper-TF to Newspaper theme, I find that the header on the Travel homepage isn’t full width anymore but boxed and the image i have there doesn’t fit into it. How can i fix that?

Hi – not sure if I explained that correctly. There’s an image with a camel on the demo and it’s full width. On my site that’s not full width anymore. I’m not referring the to header with the logo and navigation I mean the “hero” image with the camel from the demo no longer goes to the edge of the screen.

I understood perfectly. But that has nothing to do with the site being boxed. The site goes into boxed mode if you add a theme background color or image. When using this layout, is there a way to make the background for this section fit on mobiles? Currently I just see the centre of the image but not the whole thing and same on the demo, you see the camel’s head but not the whole image.

Excellent theme and the demos are really good . I need to ask something about the demos and the website showcasing the newspaper theme, see this link (https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper) This linked website is a part of the newspaper theme or you have used to showcase your work your demos are really good but they are no full on the screen like the above linked site (https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper), may be due to the screen size factor used in the theme.
If that is a part of the theme i will like to buy this or if u have use some other theme can u plz refer which theme u have used as i need to create a company website like that

Hey there, we are running Newspaper on a corporate account, I’m writing from my private one here. I have to display not only the post date, but the time of the post, in the index / main timeline. I am using block 23. I have two questions: Where do I have to modify the code, and how, to show the time right after the date? How do I have to modify the code do show the date in the day/month format, without showing the year? We have about 100 posts a day, so time matters more than the year or the day.

There should be no data loss between updates but we do recommend making a back-up before updating. If you made modifications to the theme files, they will be lost and if you use a child theme it will eed to be updated also. Please use this guide: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Unfortunately, this type of plugin is untested with our theme, and we have no idea about the theme behavior with this untested plugins. We have some bad reports from our users regarding with regarding on plugin’s functionalities with our theme. It seems to be a problematic plugin, and we do not recommend using it, sorry! Notice that our recommended caching plugin is WP Super Cache.

Hi, we’ve installed Disqus Comments. Is there a way to have the title “Comments” above (like it is when we keep the default wordpress comment system)...?

I suppose that you are using the Disqus Comments plugin, right? So, please notice that type of plugin is not tested with our theme, and we have no idea about the theme behavior with this plugins, sorry! Notice that the theme uses only the default functionality of Comments from Wordpress and if you want to implement other plugins in our theme, you should do it yourself because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Most likely, you should edit the plugin’s files and try to call the Comment Title.

Hi,
is there possible to ad woocommerce cart somewhere in header or menu, and when customers add some product in cart, to change number on icon (number of products in cart)? I seen this option on many theme which support woocommerce and I would like to set up on newspaper.

The width in our themes is not adjustable. Our themes have a fixed width and it cannot easily be modified. We did not build our theme with a dynamic width in mind.

The 2 plugins that come bundled with the theme are free versions and do not have a license key. Only the paid version has an activation key. But you do not need to activate them in order to use them. You have full access to all of the plugin options and functionality. You can ignore the activation messages as activation is not required to use the plugin.

You can run our theme without VC but unfortunately the theme blocks and grids will not work as they require visual composer to work. basically you will not be able to use the page builder on pages so you can only create pages using the standard mce editor and you will not have access to the theme blocks. It will only affect pages.

Your images must be at least 800×600 in size. The theme creates the necessary thumbnails so even using very large images will not have any impact on performance as the theme will use it’s thumbs not the full size image. How do I get the most updated version of the theme after purchasing? I’m getting a lot of javascript errors and my site is slow as heck. I’m wondering if Ive missed an update or something.

In order to get the latest update you need to simply download the theme again from your envato account and use this guide to update: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ The js errors could not be theme version related. This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Sorry but our theme does not have a dynamic width. We did not build the theme with this in mind. Our theme has a fixed width and there is no simple way to change the width unfortunately. All the theme elements depend on this fixed width.
