Hi, this is something I am wondering before potentially buying the theme. I want to create a website for an illustrator. I’m looking for a portfolio theme that would be flexible and would have a nice blog layout as well. Your theme seems great for all of this, but then there are a few details I need to be sure to be able optimize :

In the lightbox viewer, in terms of UX, on click I would like it to zoom in the picture so as to see the details, like you would have on websites like Flickr or DeviantArt (some kind of magnifying lens appears on both site and we can have a look at the details). On the demos of this theme, the only think that appear possible would be to right click “view image” and then be possible to zoom in, which takes us out of the website altogether :/ . In Studiofolio it was possible to have this (the “panning effect”), is it possible on Uncode ?

Do you mean have something like a quick view that show also the page details (like text description etc)? Sorry but really not understand what is the effect you are searching for that we have in Studiofolio. Let us know!

Hi, the effect I would like to have would be to be able to zoom in the picture instead of only having a full screen view, which is quite limiting, especially for portrait views. the “panning effect” in the Studiofolio lightbox was great to display portrait pictures and zoom in. I don’t find that in Uncode, which is problematic for a portfolio website (I take for granted that people will want to zoom in the picture to see the tiny details and go through the full resolution picture without having to do “right click”/”show image”).

Hi MaxLopez! Sorry for delay and thank you for interest! :)
Our support is based on the famous Zendesk but it’s a super custom take-on and unfortunately you cannot replicate this kind of accordion menu in Uncode. Our first documentation was based on Uncode and was pretty similar as layout with a classic horizontal menu on top (the page layout is one of the blog posts https://www.undsgn.com/uncode/make-it-clean-and-simple/). I can suggest to evaluate this set-up. The good part is that you can modify menu items for the homepage so you see the bog complete documentation menu only in the documentation page while use a more minimal on the homepage (menu style is the same, menu links can be different). I hope this helps and inspire you a bit.

Hi, there is no extra work, I think you misunderstood my suggestion. I suggested to use the main menu for documentation, there is an option to assign different menu to different pages. Let us know if you need more infos!

The “Workspace” admin screenshots in the Classic Startup Demo look impressive. Is this a product/theme of yours or was is just mocked up for the demo?

Is frontend editing coming to Uncode? I had read it was slated the “next big release” so had hoped it would be 1.5?

Hi Polished and thank you for appreciate! No the front-end builder is not part of the release, the actual status of the VC front-end build is not what we expect from an editor. This is the actual choice of lot of top authors, in fact in the first 20 themes only a few offer the VC front-end editor and in most of top themes is disabled. In the next months is expected a big update of VC, let’s see what happen…

Sure, completely understand, it is a bit clunky. Sadly many clients simply can’t wrap their heads around back end editing, although your customisations to VC make it easier than most so just wanted to ask the question. Appreciate the great customer support and look forward to seeing where you take this theme next!

Regardless, is it possible to customize the size of the thumbnails on the product page? I’d like to make them much smaller so they all fit on one line.

Our Help Center is based on the famous Zendesk support system if there is an odd issue like this we can only alert their support anyway we have dozen of users connected right now so it’s a probable local problem. Please try to access with another browser, I can only think about a cookies issue. Yes it’s possible customise the size of thumbnails but it’s not easy suggest the option without a check since you can define this both with Theme Options both with a Content Block module. Please try another browser and in case let me know!

We’re using Wordpress multi-site. Do we have to buy a separate license for Uncode for each subsite if we want to use the theme across our subsites?

Hi metanaut and sorry for delay! The Envato policy states that you are allowed to use a single license as far as its all under same domain. You shouldn’t be using external domain redirect to the network. Hi, I’ve just trying to install this theme (https://www.undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/blog-magazine/) and this never happened. The installation process took 10 min and ends up saying that it is not possible.

Hello! I’ve updated WooCommerce to 3.0, and followed all the patch instructions to replace files & re-save theme options. However, there is a large issue that i’m experiencing now: with any Variable products, I can NOT turn off the inventory. All attempts to either add inventory to get the product to become available OR turning all settings off for inventory ends up with the same results. Therefore no products are ever available to add to cart. IF I change to simple product, the page simply doesn’t load any content.

Hi! Please note that this patch is only for the 1.4.2 while the new 1.5 doesn’t need any patch so the suggestion is to just use the new 1.5. Unfortunately after one month that users use this patch no one have reported these issues so we cannot help in words. Hello! I have purchased & upgraded to 1.5, and have the newest version of WooCommerce installed and am STILL having the same problem. I reinstalled WP, and all the plugin themes in both a second location on the same server, and with a different host, and still cannot add a product to the cart - always out of stock for variable products.

If you deactivate Uncode are you able to make this working? It seems a problem with the WooCommerce configuration.

Hello, I’m installing de ‘uncode’ theme in wordpress ad in system status, the section of product registration says ‘not verified-please register your copy of uncooked’. I complete the gaps on the top but when I click on submit button it doesn’t finish.

The Automatic header is the option that was available for Content Block header (https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214006505), now you can also use in the page/post content (please check this video http://undsgn.d.pr/7m8BL/20WTOFB4). The subheading is a refuse (thank you for notice), we have not inserted this option at the end (this will available in next updates and will grab the page excerpt).
