Hello, I have noticed that all the webs i have made with BRIDGE have decreased the results in google insights dramatically, from 78-80% to 20%. What has happened? I use WP Fastest cache but i think is something related to google and the big number of JS scripts and CSS of your theme

Hello, I’m using the Portfolio List on my website and choose Lightbox for images (default hover)
however on mobile clicking on image links to portfolio item
I would like to remove/disable this link so nothing happens on mobile touch on images (without losing lightbox on hover for desktop)

It is not wise to import demo on live website, because it will import demo content, and things can get messed up and even some content items my be overwritten. In this case it is good practice to install WordPress on your local machine (localhost) and then to try different demos. In this way you can see which options we used and you can reproduce that on your live page.

If this is not the case on your end, maybe there is some plugin conflict so you could try deactivating all 3rd party plugins and also caching / optimization plugins and to test this again. You can choose from may available google fonts, and they are listed when you try to change font family for some heading or paragraph, but we don’t have file which is covering all included fonts, sorry. You can simply access google fonts online in case that you need to see how font will look like.

Ok. I know I’m not the only one because I referenced the above ticket, and I also saw it mentioned here in the comments a few times. This would be great to have, as I have used the CSS to disable it from being clickable (got the CSS from the ticket I referenced above) but now there is no way to enlarge the project photos on mobile. I understand that there were several requests but it wasn’t enough for adding this as a feature and mainly because lightbox size is determined by screen size while maintaining image proportions so lighbox image on mobile will be same size as the one which is in the content, and touch device users don’t like to tap things when they don’t have to so it is far better to have everything within the content and that user can simply access everything by scrolling up and down. If this is important to you, try writing to your ticket again so our support can think of some additional workaround if possible.

Are there any ways to decrease the impressive number of .js files that are loaded with your theme (and yes, I’ve optimized everything else)? I’m pretty sure the only way to do it is to do it manually, I’m willing to do it but would like to make sure there’s no “proper way” to do it first. I feel it should be one great feature for us designer to be able to limit all the javascript bloat we don’t use/need… Thanks.

Hi, I bought this theme and am trying to turn off all caching. I have no plugins installed to cahce the site, yet when I update on the backend, changes are not visible until I force Google to recrawl the page. Is there a hidden cache setting somewhere? How do I remove this?

Theme don’t have its own caching, and that is also not allowed by coding standards, so if all caching / optimization plugins are disabled, then maybe your host is forcing some caching for you hosting plan and you should contact them to see if that is the case.
