Hi, I have started recently with the theme installation, yes, 7 months after buying the theme, so the support was deactivated a month ago. I´m not ready to pay other 41$ for 6 months support. Now I have serius problems uploading a new logo to the theme. It does not matter the file format, png or svg, but after uploading always dissapear when I save changes and the uncode logo is still there. I have test with the original theme and the child theme, the system status is all “green”. Never had a problem like this after ¿100 wp proyects? Thanks for your help

Have you extra plugins? Does the Theme Options save other settings? Otherwise try to contact Envato and ask if you can acces a refund for your case, unfortunately if your support expired we cannot help too much here and actually it seems you have some odd probable server issues that require specific assistance. Hi there, my support has expired but want to post about this potential issue: I have had to update outdated woocommerce templates within the uncode templates. The outdated ones were mini-cart.php, product-image.php, product-thumbnails.php. It’s fine, I managed to update easily.
One other issue is the product images are now no longer displaying correctly, they are stacked down the product page and if you click on one it takes up the whole browser and the only way you can close it is to press the back button. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

The other issue was never reported so it’s not easy to tell you in words, it seems that you have some JS errors and the iLightbox is not init. Do you have this issue after you have updated the files?

But I tried the fix and it didn’t work unfortunately. It says that “the WooCommerce team made the call to not enable the new gallery features by default.” It suggests that theme authors control of which new gallery features are enabled.
I don’t know much about JS unfortunately so am not sure what to do

I just updated uncode and I’m having a different issue. My product thumbnails are no longer showing on the shop page, and then on the product pages they’re showing the thumbnail first, then showing the enlarged product image with the secondary images underneath.
So the product page images are working fine as expected (no longer stacked as they were before) – but the thumbnail has moved from the shop page to the product page so products with only 1 image are showing two images on the product page. I hope I’ve explained that ok.
Do you know what could be causing this issue?

Update: I removed and then reloaded my main product image which resulted in the thumbnail no longer showing on the product page (so the product page now looks as it should without the thumbnail being there). The shop page is still not showing any thumbnails though – if you hover over where the image should be, the space darkens and it says “add to basket” but there is no image).

Hi! Is there a way to customize the accent color, with a particular user-defined color? I see the ~15 options in the “Accent Color” dropdown in the Customize section of Theme Options, but there’s a very particular color I’d like to set the accent color too (which isn’t one of those 15 options). Hi voltagenewmediainc! No sorry never seen this so don’t have an immediate solution. Anyway it seems that this file is simply corrupted, maybe during the FTP upload. Are you able to locate this file inside your FTP and replace with the same file you find in the uncode.zip package? Otherwise let we know we need to check directly what happen. Is this a new server? Let us know!
Is it possible to use a custom variable as part of the query of the “Posts” element? For example, I would like to set a variable depending on some feedback (ie. IP address) from the user’s machine or an earlier selection and then filter the post grid based on an appropriate tag.
Hi meickhol and sorry for delay! No this is not something that can be implemented so easy, we are always happy to suggest small customisations if applicable but this need intense coding. Set a method that based on IP automatically filters the post module is something so custom you cannot find natively not in Uncode but also in any other commercial themes.

My host says uncode.ajax.php is taking up to 2.25 seconds just to load. The theme is also causing issues with varnish cache. Please help as the site is slow in responding.
Hi theinspirationalist! If your host complaints the problem is uncode-ajax.php they should also give you more insights how a simple php files stay up to 2.25 seconds on their server to be processed. As you can see from the showcase https://undsgn.com/uncode/showcase/ the average loading time are awesome (so there is not an issue in this file) and some optimised sites (with simple cache plugins) are impressive, ex: https://www.tomrobakphotography.com/ etc…
We cannot debug just in words what’s create possible problem in your installation, in case please open a ticket in our Help Center or if you are not able to use Uncode in this server you can always ask for a refund even if as shown the problem is not native of the theme. Let us know!
PS: what is the specific issue with Varnish? Maybe these are related? For example if you need Varnish a few dynamic files need to be excluded.

Varnish is not caching.
Here is what i get in varnish:
Varnish is running but cannot cache. A plugin or theme is setting a PHPSESSID cookie on every pageload. This makes Varnish not deliver cached pages. The “Age” header is set to less than 1, which means you checked right when Varnish cleared the cache for that url or Varnish is not actually serving the content for that url from cache. Check again (refresh the page) but if it happens again, it could be one of the following reasons: That url is excluded from the cache on purpose in the Varnish vcl file (in which case everything is working.) A theme or plugin is sending cache headers that are telling Varnish not to serve that content from cache. This means you will have to fix the cache headers the application is sending to Varnish. A lot of the time those headers are Cache-Control and/or Expires.
A theme or plugin is setting a session cookie, which can prevent Varnish from serving content from cache. You need to make it not send a session cookie for anonymous traffic.
Something is setting the header Cache-Control to “no-cache” which means visitors will never get cached pages.

Hi theinspirationalist! I’m sorry but I’m losing with the problems you report. You first refer to uncode-ajax.php, then to Varnish and now to sessions? The PHPSESSID it’s never used in Uncode, where you see that this come from our codes? I have searched now inside the theme folder and it’s not used. The session is triggered by the product registration and it’s pretty normal as functionality. Just to understand the scenario do you have these problem now (I see you have bought Uncode months ago) or this is a new server? Is this server a custom VPS?
Same server. The host is providing me with this info Dreamhost to be exact. I am using their dreampress hosting service. So they are blaming the code with the theme causing the pages not to be cached by varnish. I am not sure what do do.

The only file that has this code it’s WooCommerce but this the most popular ecommerce plugin WordPress not from Undsgn. Anyway it’s not easy to tell you in words, you can try Uncode, notify our Help Center if you have some issue related and then in the worst of the cases if we are not able to help you fix these possible permission issues refund it’s granted.

Even if you need really small CSS adjustments and we have lot of RTL users we don’t sell Uncode as RTL compatible. You can try it, check what is missing for your Uncode RTL configuration and in case we’ll offer you a refund. This is the best I can offer but I prefer to say no it’s not 100% RTL compatible.

Hi, we are doing some work on our page speed through gtmetrix. We are getting the advice to serve scaled images. We are using the Asynchronous Adaptive Image System. The recommendation is: (image) is resized in HTML or CSS from 533×710 to 257×342. Serving a scaled image could save 59.3KiB (76% reduction). Is there anything we can do to get a better score in this area? Thanks
Hi bijoumama! You can try to insert more breakpoint in the Adaptive Image settings, please note that also images for these new breakpoints will be generated on your server. Anyway 59.3KiB is totally negligible weight and is quite normal when using a commercial theme. This tool expects to find an image of the exact dimensions but this unrealistic if not by hand or by inserting infinite breakpoints. Have you other problem with speed I don’t evaluate?
