Hi, pre-sale question: I am setting up a site for an online art gallery using your theme. I need to be able to create a sidebar on the products page filtering Artists, types of works like oil, photography, acrylic paint etc.. and other categories. What if any plugins to you recommend that will work nicely with your theme.

Hi serobbins and sorry for delay! There are a few WordPress plugins that can extend native WooCommerce functionalities but it’s something not native of Uncode. If I’m not wrong good ones are from YITH and you can also first try the free versions. Let us know!

After the update, the fixed sidebar on the portfolios no longer works. I have saved the theme options, I purged the site cache nothing done.
A friend who also has a site under a code also has the same problem.
Is this a bug in the new version ? An idea to solve the problem ?

Have you updated all the required plugins and deactivated any extra cache plugins? Sometimes these plugins take a few time before purge cache. Let us know!
I just tested on a blank installation and it works. I will try to find out where the problem comes from.

I tried to do the update with the plugin Envato Toolkit, I also tried to do manual update via Wordpress and via Ftp.
Before the update, I disable the cache, and all the plugins that are not necessary to uncode. I have cleared my browser cache. But the fixed sidebar portfolios still does not work.
As stated in the previous review, I had tried it with a clean install in 1.6 and it worked.
Then I tried with a clean install in 1.5, and the sidebar fixed works, so I updated the clean install in 1. 6 and the fixed sidebar no longer works.
Do you have an idea ?

I have a multisite installation. As I use more than one theme, and more than one plugin, and I understand that you have modified VisualComposer in depth. What if I have two or more themes that uses Visual Composer? Is there a risk that this will cause problems?

On Sunday I bought a template, but I did not have time to do anything with it… and today I see a new v1.6! Nice to see that you continue to develop the template! Few fast questions…
1) What is a ratio for portfolio grid photos?
2) Can I upload there only vertical or square photos – and they will not be converted to ‘landscapes’? Maybe I will want to make a portfolio with a category with the magazine covers (not gallery but portfolio) so I will need to see there only vertical photos…
3) ...but in other pages with portfolio categories I will want to see normal (‘landscapes’) photos.. Is this possible?

1. What option do you refer exactly? If you refer to the Media Gallery > Block > Ratio with this option you can define a same size for all the images: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213456849#&gid=1&pid=3
2. You can upload any format you need then you can set to use the native ratio or modify based on our presets.

How have you set the text to be either light or dark? Some boxes contain white text and some dark. Where is the setting for this?

Hello guys, my support has expired, maybe you could be so kind and help me. I would like to make my posts wider on mobile. Currently I’ve set post width to 70% in Theme Settings. However on mobile I have huge gaps on both sides of post body. Is there a way to fix it?
Hi vadikcoma! It’s not so easy understand your layout in words, sorry we have so many different settings and you can also create this with Visual Composer. There is a similar layout in our demo site or can you send us an image or better your preview so we can suggest a trick?

I really love this theme is has almost nearly everything you could ask for except the option to highly customise the header area how you want it. It would be nice if the header area had option to add blocks of information like contact area, social, extra menu links. Just block options so that you can tweak it how you want it. Sometimes a client might say can I have the phone number at the top right and email on the left and social in the middle and menu underneath and then different on mobiles, but this is just not possible with this template yet!
Hi iamhugo! Yes I know some themes offer this but also they definitely offer more basic menus with less animations combo and layouts. Anyway with the secondary menu area on top of the main menu and few CSS you get what you need. For example you can insert here the tel number, email etc.. Hope this helps as much as possible!
Thanks but surely you could implement a simple additional area that can accommodate valuable information like email address, phone numbers and socials. Maybe it could be widget areas. At the minute it is just not possible for the basic user to do this. It always bugs me about this template not having such a basic option available for such important information. The theme goes above and beyond so that you can achieve any layout including content blocks which can be used to create any type of footer layout but when it comes to the header it just doesn’t have the options. I love this theme but x theme does better with its new header builder! Just want to create basic header layout like shown here: http://www.humanandcargo.co.uk/image/
Yep! X is really good and vast theme and it’s also really different from Uncode, they offer features we don’t have like Uncode offers features X does’t have. Anyway this is pretty easy and you can try to use the secondary menu (http://undsgn.d.pr/a1XTwg/1GcEY2D3) and apply some icons for your links, a bit of CSS and you are done (http://undsgn.d.pr/tlEu1W/5O4IP2y4). In case for icon only buttons insert the HTML blank char. Hope this helps!
Ok thanks for your help. Maybe this feature is something you will look to implement in the near future. I always love themes that have the option to style the header area as most if not all of my clients websites have these options.

Hello,
Is it possible to toggle a row that has a headline, then the toggled view displays content (similar to an accordion but the row is actually the toggle)? I found a plugin called Massive Addons for Visual Composer and wondered if it would work with the custom VC of Uncode, or if you folks think there’s another option that can accomplish this?

Hi dgsmarketing! Our suggestion is to just use an accordion with the 1 panel and insert “0” in the accordion options to make it closed http://undsgn.d.pr/aj6f3R/5Gy6WrMK
Then you just need to style this accordion a bit with CSS if you need for example to remove the border or make the title bigger etc… in case send us your preview and we’ll create a quick code for you.

Uncode offers lot of features but in the limits of what we show in our demos.
