Don’t bother, I worked it out myself. If anybody’s struggling with this in the future, I recommend you disable the Ubermenu plugin to begin with, then delete it unless you really need it (Unless you’re building a site for some enormous corporate, I can’t imagine many people ever would. Overkill. I never saw such bloatware in my life! Hideous…)
Then build your own hero image using the Slider Revolution plugin. Select the following: Slider Settings > Slider Type ‘Hero Scene’ > Slide Layout ‘Full Screen’. Save and start adding your images/text.

All of our demos can be imported automatically from the WordPress dashboard. Standard demos will provide the theme options and a homepage with placeholder content. Expanded demos will import everything making your site identical to the demo.
On my third attempt to find a theme that can provide this design and offers good support. All I am after is something that should be simple, that is to be able to create feature listings with various elements like images, text and Google maps in three bordered columns with gaps between and equal height. With Avada this is a simple checkmark but so far two other premium themes can’t do it. I’m wasting far too much time here and don’t want to buy yet another mistake.

X doesn’t have a way to have gaps in-between columns that are equal height. However, you could use marginless columns (no gap) all using the same background color, then use custom CSS to add padding around your elements. Out of the box there are no pre-defines banner spaces but with some alternation of the template files in conjunction with using a child theme you can place a banner at any place you want. Alternatively there are several plugins available or you use a text widget and place the banner code into the sidebar. Both might suit your needs but I am confident that we can find a solution for you.

Hi, in process of integrating ubermenu as per http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/theme-integration/x , but there is no _nav-primary.php file in x/framework/views/global/ . I just updated from v4.6.4 to 5.1.1. In v4.6.4, the file was there. Also using X child theme.

Hi, in v4.6.4 had updated wp-header.php in x/framework/views/integrity such that breadcrumbs are below the slider. Now, have updated to v5.1.1 , and applying the updates for placing breadcrumbs below slider is not working. First off, was no wp-header.php file after updating, so copied the one from v4.6.4 to relevant location. This did not fix it. Much appreciate your help please.

So, I purchased this item a while back and now want to go to pro. I can’t get any help on your support page, and I can’t register the license because I used it once (though I revoked it now so its open). I’m confused at how to proceed.. From what I read on your FAQ – I should be eligible for the pro version..
I tried importing the “band” expanded demo today, 15-20 tries later it’s still not successfully importing – this is after I tried adding “&clean-cache” on the end of my URL. Is there an issue with the servers?

Pre Sale Question: Can tags be created in different tag categories?
Let’s I want to create some blog post that belong to different groups of tags. Say there is tag group for related country so, I’d have US, UK, France, and so on. I assume tags would be a way to implement that.
But if there should be other types of tag, e.g. a group of tags for technology – PHP, Python, Java, etc.
And there could be more groups for e.g. project size (small, medium, large), status (planned, in progress, finished) just to name a few things.
Obviously these different groups of tags should not be mixed up. Is there a way to do that, in the description it only states that tags are supported?

Thanks for writing in! When using WordPress, tags by their nature will always be at the same level, there is no way to organize tags. You can certainly create as many tags as you want and apply them appropriately as you write content, but there is no way to have hierarchical tagging in WordPress.
That being said, categories can be hierarchical and you could use those to have a more defined taxonomy structure. For example, you could make a parent category called “Technology” and have children categories under that like “PHP,” “Python,” et cetera, and then repeat with other parent/children groups like mentioned above.
These all have to do with how WordPress taxonomies work, which X styles and formats the output of as you use them. You can read more about WordPress taxonomies here if you’d like to learn more:
