Hi, I am interested in purchasing your theme but have a few questions (1) for portfolio pages, I would like to have a portfolio carousel or slider showing related items (ie other portfolio items from the same category) at the bottom of each post. Is this possible? Would I need to manually update each time a new item is added to a category, or can it be set to auto populate? (2) or can I use a 3rd party portfolio plugin instead of the theme’s portfolio if desired? (3) does the theme work with Elementor Pro? I find that easier than visual composer Thanks!

About the Elementor builder, I think that you will have no issues. However, all our elements are based on Page Builder interface. Shortly, you will not be able to use any of these handcrafted elements without this page builder.

Hi, guys. I know my support has expired, but I’d really appreciate your feedback on this issue: I’ve uploaded an mp4 video (H.264, 1920×1080) in Featured Section (set to 750px height) and although it appears fine in desktops, it’s not displayed when browsing in mobile (instead, the background image set is displayed). I am afraid that there is nothing to be fixed or changed here as this is not a theme-related issue. Web browsers on devices do not support HTML videos. That is why we have included the option to use a background image instead that will be shown on devices. Additionally, background videos don’t have controls and browsers on mobiles have disabled autoplay for html5 videos due to bandwidth.

First of all, thanks for using Blade.
Blade Theme is compatible with WP version 4.9. Could you please make sure you are fully updated in both Theme and related plugins as per changelog: Blade Changelog?
We have not experienced such an issue with WP 4.9. If you update Theme and still have the issue please disable all 3rd-party plugins (not bundled with Theme) and check again in case it is a plugin incompatability issue.

Hello! I love the Blade theme and have used it on my company website for over a year. Currently the website is running WordPress 4.8.3 and Blade 2.5.12. I want to update Blade to the latest version 2.6.1 before updating the WordPress core to 4.9, but I have a few concerns after reading the comments above. Is the latest Blade 2.6.1 compatible with the previous version of WordPress 4.8.3? Have the issues mentioned with the WPBakery plugin been resolved? Since Blade relies heavily on the proper function of WPBakery- would you recommend only updating the Blade theme for now until any issues with WordPress 4.9 are settled, or can you confirm that Blade 2.6.1 and WPBakery 5.4.4 are compatible with WordPress 4.9? I understand WPBakery is a plugin and not the theme itself, but since it is a required plugin that the Blade theme relies upon I just want to avoid running into any surprises when updating. Thanks for using our theme and for your kind words 
It is true that WPBakery Page Builder had some issues with WP 4.9 but most of these were sorted in version 5.4.4. This is the included page builder version in latest Blade release – http://greatives.eu/themes/updates/blade/ . I think that there will be a new release of WPBakery Page builder soon but even if you immediately update theme and required plugins (builder, extension etc) your site will work fine. It is always recommended to update your theme before the WordPress.

I have done exactly as recommended – ensured all plugins and translations were up-to-date, updated Blade to the latest version 2.6.1, then pressed the Update Now button to upgrade the WordPress core to version 4.9. I need to update page contents for a new customer whose site was created using the Blade theme. I’m having a problem with the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin, which does not load in back-office or front-office.
I have already tried to disable each plugin to check compatibility, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled WPBakery Visual Composer in the WordPress admin.
I think you may be able to bring me some assistance. How should I proceed since the theme was purchased by someone else in 2015 and I do not have access to its Envato account ?

It seems that you are outdated so you need the latest theme version of Blade. Since Blade is being sold exclusively on TF, the only way to get this is via the download area of the TF. Shortly, you can either get access to this Envato account or purchase it via a different account.

01. Is the theme easily compatible with mega-menu plugins? 02. Is there a way to change the items content and title on responsive-menu? Have different menus on each interface … 03. How do I can change menu search/newsletter/sidebar icons to social media icons? Is it possible without coding? 04. Is there a way to use shortcodes (like accordions or tabs) directly into the submenus? (turning your menu into a mega-menu with horizontal tabs) 05. I’ve seen that the theme supports also a multi-language function; do I need to create multisite options or you guys include a multi-language plugin?

1. I think that some of our customers use external mega-menu plugins. However, we have never tested one of these as we provide our built-in mega menu.
2. You cannot have a different menu on devices (if this is what you need).
3. Maybe with a small CSS snippet.
4. With our built-in mega menu this is not possible.
5. Blade is compatible with WPML – https://wpml.org/theme/blade/ – and Polylang plugin.

I have checked in the admin and the coming soon is toggled to OFF. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you should also try disabling all 3rd party plugins to see if this is caused by any plugins you’re using. To be honest, it does not sound like a theme related issue to me.

I don’t think so…. I can see the page as I have it setup if I am logged in and viewing the front end. Which folder would the index.html file be in?

If you search locally via an editor in the theme folder you will also see that this message does not exist in the theme code. Could you please just switch to a default WP theme since you have access to your dashboard and check again? I am afraid that we also need access to your dashboard to help you further.

Small suggestions – When you enter in your primary 1-2-3-4 colors etc in the theme customizer section… Understand this is more of a generic part of WordPress so not sure if possible but It would be really nice when in VC and other areas that get the generic colour selector and swatches to show your primary 1 2 3 4 colors in those sections. I cannot verify any issue in the customizer so could you please disable any 3rd party plugin and check again? I have just used the Live Customizer with WP 4.9 and the latest theme release at my end. Let me know how to replicate the issue you have.
BTW, we are aware of some issues of the WPBakery Page Builder (Visual composer) and WP 4.9 so we are waiting for the next version from WPBakery team in order to prepare our theme update as well. If you check here you will see what I mean.

It seems that the ajax cart only works on desktop version, doesn’t work in mobile .

The ajax cart works just fine. You can click on any Add to Cart button from your mobile to see that this product will be added in the cart. This is exactly what the ajax cart is. The fact that the cart icon has direct link to the cart page on mobiles has to do with the responsiveness of the site.

Hi there. Can you or anyone here recommend a Postcode/Address Lookup Finder for ecommerce that would work with this theme please? So people enter their postcode, and up comes the street address and town. Hopefully that is tried and tested. Many thanks.

Ok thanks. From the sound of it, The WooCommerce Postcode/Address Lookup Finder does not work, as the Postcode field for this plugin is disabled by the theme.

Sure. But basically the theme has been switch off, and the Postcode field is enabled. All plugins are still on. Turn on the theme again, and it’s ghosted out.
I’m sure the support people will need to see the page to be able to help us resolve it. Just hope it isn’t them saying it’s down to a third party plugin.. as it works with everything on… but with Blade on, it breaks it.
