I love the theme but I’ve been doing some searching in the forums and is it right that Bridge doesn’t support Wordpress custom fields? That would be so disappointing, that’s one of the main ways that I edit ‘store bought’ Wordpress themes, please say it aint so? I’ve even installed several custom field plugins (i.e. Advanced Custom Fields, etc.) but can’t get the options to show in the screen options. Can you seriously not use Wordpress custom fields with the Bridge theme? That sounds crazy???

To add, whenever I click “Add Slider from Template” it says “No data could be retrieved from the servers. Please make sure that your website can connect to the themepunch servers.”

That is normal. Bundled plugins are included with extended license which cannot be given to end users according to Envato rules. Hello. I’m using this demo ( http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge109/ ) but also borrowing design elements from this demo ( http://bridge90.qodeinteractive.com/ ). I m using “interactive icon showcase” & “workflow” elements with same settings copied from 2nd URL I just referred to. it does show those two elements on my test page ( http://techonda.com/test2/ ) but the problem is , ITS NOT SHOWING THE CONNECTING LINE IN BOTH ELEMENTS. Hi.
I’ve installed Bridge demo concepto 106 Blog with slider.
I’m having a problem with the editing of texts in the admni panel. When I try to edit texts I see that they are blanked, the text color of the editing blocks are white os I can edit correctly the contents.
I only can select all text, copy and the edit it in ther editor but not in the same editing texts blocks.
Please, could you help to fix this and to see the texts correctly in the editing texts blocks.

If some text is set to be white over text editor they won’t be seen while editing text until you select all text, and that is normal. It is easier to select all text and to change it to some other color, to edit it and then to revert back to white if you want.

Ok, but this is a problem of the template. By this way, I can’t edit safely the text content directly in the editing box because I can’t see what’s the content.
It has to be a problem of some CSS class, I think that the next classes are the problem :
.js .tmce-active .wp-editor-area { color: #fff; } .js .tmce-active .wp-editor-area { color: #fff; }
When I deselect the color from the web Inspector, the editing box change to the correcto text lack color in entries and pages edited with Visual Composer.
So, by default, the color text boxes are shown in white color of entries / pages.
Is correct to change these classes to black color to edit safely these content or it is neccesary to do other changes in the theme Admin to see the text o editing boxes all in black?

That is Visual Composer functionality so if you install default WordPress theme you will get the same thing. This is not something that needs to be changed from our side.

Ok, so I will I have to fix by me and edit the CSS classes in file wp-includes/css/editor.min.css that causes this bug.
What I do not understand is why this text editor bug is not corrected if it is something that comes by default in the theme and does not allow editing correctly as in any other topic.
I never got this kind of issue in other templates.

Visual Composer is loading default WordPress text editor and background of editor is white by default. It is not a theme but, nor Visual Composer or WordPress bug, and it doesn’t require fixing, but if you want to suggest this as improvement of functionality you can then write to WordPress or to Visual Composer author.

Hi, When I submit with contact form 7, the page reloads instead of just submitting. Turning off ajax transitions solves the issue. rolling back the contact-form-7 plugin to 4.7 does not solve the issue. deactivating any new plugins since the last time the forms were working correctly does not solve the problem. I think after the last update of the bridge theme I started having the problem. Please help sensismedia.nl

It worked fine because I had turned off ajax animations. However, I dont have transitions like that. I just turned on ajax transitions, if try to submit now the problem will be recreated.

As explained previously, since template is modified issue can be related to that modification so revert changes if any, and if you continue to have problems submit a ticket to support and provide WordPress and FTP admin access in your ticket since this needs to be investigated on your end because form created with CF7 plugin is working fine on our testing installation with transitions enabled.

I too am having the Visual Composer issue. I’ve ran through the update theme process like I’ve done a dozen times, my hosting PHP config is as you documented, and the Edit screen will never load with Visual Composer plugin activated. I’ve deactivated/deleted the plugin and manually installed them and still will not load VC.
It seems many users are having this issue, is there a certain fix for this?

Is VC Version 5.2.1 the latest? As I posted I’ve updated VC plugin both from Theme required install links and manually Add New from the js-composer.zip file included in the latest Bridge theme zip.

1. Yes, one license is just for one domain or sub domain so if you intend to use it on multiple domains, then you need to purchase separate license for each installation. An overview about all licenses can be found here: http://themeforest.net/licenses
2. Theme Forest doesn’t have option for discounts like coupons or similar, so it is not possible to have better price.
3. Special deals like better prices are available when Envato is celebrating something, or when there is some a world-renowned holiday and Envato team is inviting authors to join and to allow discount, so we really can’t tell you for sure if there will be some special deal in near future.

That demo contain a little more content then it should within split screen sections, so it needs to be adjusted a bit, for example by removing elements holder for counters and using standard columns, and also spacing between some elements should be reduced. Because of these problems we inducted advanced responsiveness option in one of newer theme version so if you decide to use this demo you can also try to enable that option https://www.screencast.com/t/B8Ttq7MII . Functionality for this do not exist in a form of element but it is possible to create similar functionality with slider revolution plugin which is included with our theme, but you need to be very familiar with the plugin and to be able to write some custom JS functionality for click action for each user so some custom coding is required.
