I’m not very computer savvy. I’m using Banana, and can’t figure out how to get a portfolio post onto my home page. My existing homepage list ( which is showing linked images of my portfolio posts) was built by editing the existing posts- but can’t figure out how to make a NEW post show up there.

The portfolio posts aren’t coming up in the list on the home screen, though.
i’ve attempted to change the amount of portfolio posts it will allow me to post on the home page but it will NOT save my change. I have put in -1 as recommended, and it will not save the change. i put in the number, hit save, then the page reloads, and it goes back to saying 12 (the original template amount). the revisions sections doesn’t show a change in that number either. i have tried to put random amounts in there and it will not act as though i have made any changes. i have tried this on safari and chrome.

You are using outdated versions of our theme and VC. So, please, update our theme first to latest version here are instructions http://demo.select-themes.com/capri-new-help/#getting_started_updating_capri then update VC. After this, just clear all the cache, and everything should be working back fine.

We always suggest following WooCommerce requirements since plugin is supported by our theme https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/ but everything should work fine even with PHP 5.6 . Note that requirements changes constantly and is better to always follow requirements suggested by WordPress https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

No, it is not recommended to do that because of possible overriding because of same page IDs. So, we could suggest to make locally WordPress installation and there to install/activate our Capri theme and import demo content. Then, you are able to see how we made some pages, and copy desired structures in your existing site.

Hello! I have a couple of question. 1. When I share my home page on facebook it doesn’t fetch any image from the slider on my home page living it blank and boring.
2. When I try to google my site ” home,page-template,page-template-full_width,page-template-full_width-php,page,page-id-50390,qode-core-1.0.2,ajax_fade,page_not_loaded,,capri-ver-1.9, ...” is on the description part of it, if you search google.

Hello, I’m trying to change the selected and hover color for the top navigation. I see in the header area the Menu Item Text Decoration to add a line-through, but I can’t find where you change the decoration color. I’ve literally changed every “yellow” color I’ve seen through the site but can’t find this one. Please help!

When is the theme going to be updated? I asked a few months ago and we have an commence site so it is pertinent we stay up to date with WooCommerce. Current Capri Version is only at 2.6.14 and most up to date version of WooCommerce is now 3.0.8. and not to mention Visual Composer has had multiple updates since this theme’s last update. Sorry for the delay with update. WooCommerce 3.x compatibility requires a lot of changes and we are in final stage now since most of our themes were updated already. Updates were released according to priority and amount of requests from the users. As you can see on screenshot, green ones are updated https://www.screencast.com/t/v4h9PRJJ4TQ . We will be doing Capri update along with the rest of our themes and team will prepare it soon enough.

Issue is plugin territory because each social network now needs their own tags in order to be able to share everything from your page and that is why plugin which is adding og tags is required, you can test other plugins, and then test page link trough Facebook debugging tool https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

I have tried and tested with many of the plugins and developers tools is getting some og error. But all og tags are present in it. Dont know the exact problem yet.
