The “Latest” taeb will simply display the most recent posts, the “Videos” tab will display the latest posts that use the video post type, and the “Trending” tab will display the posts published in the last X amount of days (you can set the number of days within the Theme Options) and order them according to the number of page views they have.

Unfortunately, combining the layouts of different Featured Posts layouts is something you would need to modify on your own.

No it is not possible within the theme settings, which is why I said that is something you would need to modify on your own from within the theme files by editing the code.

Posts in the middle section are set via a Tag, not a category. But you can easily just add a Tag with the same name as the category to all of your posts in the category. For example, if you have a category named “Sports”, you can add a Tag to all of the posts in that category called “Sports”, and that way you can use the “Sports” Tag in the Featured Posts section, and it will display all posts from the “Sports” category.

I am not sure what you mean by your last question, though.

B ) Also let me know whether this is possible. http://prntscr.com/gwze3k I can change “Gallery” to a post category, correct?? (Instead of gallery, have podcast (one of the post categories) )

B ) Unfortunately, this is not a feature of the theme and is something you would need to modify on your own.

C) Yes, that is a widget, and you can select a category for that widget and posts within that category will be displayed.

D) I have not officially tested the theme with VC, so I cannot guarantee that it is 100% compatible. Though, I am not aware of any conflicts and will certainly look into any issues you may run into since it is such a popular plugin.

Can you not help me do the number B ) ? Doesn’t necessarily have to be a category, a tag with the name “Podcast” would do too.

Thank you for your replies. Sorry for questions but I have to make sure of some basic things. I really like this theme, particularly because of the speed. But I need some basic stuffs to make my site organized.

Please answer me the following. This is from Featured Layout 5.

I) You can use any Tag you want in the Featured Posts section (The “Politics” section). And you can use any Tag or Category in the widgets (The “Entertainment” section)

J) Yes, it will skip any prominently displayed articles from above. Basically, it will exclude any article that has a large image on the homepage.

You missed the numbering Part on I ) Instead of Entertainment, I want Politics there too. And on Politics I want the number as this one: https://prnt.sc/gxw9i9

Can I have the numbering according to post published as this???? Latest 1-4 posts should appear on the 1st part of Politics and 5-10 should appear on bottom part of politics as per the screenshot.

This is all that I need right now and then I’m ready to make a purchase.

You can have the same Tag in both places, but I am not sure if every post has the exclude function. I know the larger posts will be excluded from being displayed below, but I cannot guarantee that the smaller posts will be excluded, so the numbering may not be exactly as you have it laid out in the example.

So are you saying that exclude option is possible only in the layout with “larger posts” which is layout 1 ??? You mean in this it is possible, right? http://prntscr.com/gy4gt8

If not, is it possible to have an exclude option??? It will be important. Please let me know if it isn’t a big deal for you to implement it. On the current “Entertaiment” section on the homepage, I’d really need an exclude option.

I am saying that within the layout you highlighted in the picture, only the main image will be excluded. I believe the two posts below it will also be excluded as well, I but I cannot guarantee that the number order will be identical to what you have laid out in your image.

What can be done for it to work then? For the numbering to work serially as I’ve laid out in the screenshot. Will you help? I only need that currently.
