Hi, I installed and on the homepage I have this message “Slider with alias ngo not found.” I verified on the theme folder on “slider-revolution-demo” and “plugin-author-demos-5” but the slider “ngo” is not there. Are 23 demos but ngo is missing. Please advise. I tried to contact you by forum for support but my support is expired

since BeTheme version 20, all sliders comes with pre-built websites what means that you can easily import them from BeTheme > Pre-built websites section. More details about this process, you can find in the documentation.

Hi, I am using Betheme for quite some time now and am still very content with it. But since last weekend I am having issues using the Be Child Theme and php 7.1. The Betheme itself seems to be working in php 7.1, but my site using the child theme breaks down. In php 7.0 everything’s fine. It is not a major problem, but I was wondering, is this a known issue?

product-categories slug is reserved for WooCommerce plugin so if you use it, then you can not set it as portfolio slug. However, if you don’t use this plugin, then you can change it.

If you don’t use WooCommerce, then you can change above slug under BeTheme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio section.

Dear Muffins, LOVE your BE theme and we have it on two sites already. However I think we’ve customised a couple of things and spoiled the default responsive layout. It stated “Classic” and “Simple” on top, but both of them are pointing to the same link, and the page doesn’t seems like is arranged into “Classic” and “Simple” section.
How can I quick find out how all the shortcode looks on both “Classic” and “Simple” .
Also, why force us to choose either one look? Can we mix the “Classic” and “Simple” look in different shortcodes?

the only way to check Simple and Classic styles is above page. This option was added over time and this is the reason why it was not possible to add it for every single shortcode/item.

You can use Hooks of course but this feature accepts html only.

there is no need to register child theme because child takes over all options and features from the parent. So generally, if parent theme is registered, you don’t need to do anything else.

I have the BeTheme 6.8 installed on a clients website which I took over 2 years ago. Suddenly somewhere in the last 2 months the Muffin Builder disappeared and content is only shown in custom fields. I would recommend my client to update the theme but don’t know if the update might break all what has been designed before. There is no child. What could be? Can you recommend something? Or do you know what happened to the Muffin Builder?

Very interesting answer from you as I am willing to buy the latest version.
The answer is always the same for those who does not have “Purchased” badge next to their nickname because it means that they did never bought any license. And like we said, if your client did it, you supposed to ask him for a purchase code and post questions on support forum.
My client got the website done 3 years ago from an agency which used your theme. So the agency bought it and the client paid for it. I took it over as my client was not happy with it. I did not like the theme from the beginning but had to work with it. Now I like to purchase it to update the website and I feel treated not well. So I rathe recommend my client to build a new website with another theme. Well done! Good bye!

So my client decided to get another update from BeTheme so we can at least do the needed changes in the text, which is not possible anymore as the Muffin builder just disappeared and changes in the custom fields can not be updated or saved.

My client decided to the latest version of the theme another time so at least we can do the needed changes in the text. Right now I don’t see the muffin builder but the content is in custom fields. Any changes there are not taken after updating the field and the page.

Hello, I’m looking for the “bullet list”- and “table”-element. table is completely missing, and “list” brings me something like a features widget (one big icon & text), “infobox” brings a list with check marks which I can not remove. I am having a bit of trouble with some unwanted spacing on some pages for the “Creative Always Open” header layout. When I do NOT use the sidebar, the background displays correctly along the left margin next to the navigation https://www.screencast.com/t/Hb5GaZJN4r. However, I want the sidebar so when it’s applied, there is a white gap between the container and the margin along the left next to the navigation https://www.screencast.com/t/yGrvpVNCP5g. Hello! Okay, I fixed the problem with the header. I had some CSS that was adding height that I overlooked, and in the end, decided to put a Rev Slider in. For the form issue, I’m changing forms so I think that will resolve that issue, as I ran into another problem with Contact Form 7. If I’m still running into problems, I’ll let you know.
