Hi, I’m updating the ‘Title Font Family’ option to ‘Default CSS’ for various sections within ‘Theme Options’. Each time I press save the changes are made however, when I subsequently access ‘Theme Options’ all of the ‘Title Font Family’ Options revert back to ‘Font Poppins’ (so when I alter any of the other options and press save all of the fonts change back to Font Poppins).

Hi, thanks for the quick response – apologies for my delay (I’ve been on vacation). We originally bought the theme for a project that didn’t take off so never actually used it until now. We have a fresh instal and changes to the following settings had successfully been made after the instal:
WP Memory Limit: 96MB Server Memory Limit: 128MB PHP Max InputVars: 3000 PHP Max Input Vars (allowed): 3000
I just tried updating the theme options again and there seem to be a number of settings that now do not get updated – not just the fonts.
Also, I checked for activity on the server and its seems the following two files where being updated after pressing save: ‘style-custom.css’ and ‘admin-custom.css’. Style-custom.css contains 3771 lines however admin-custom.css (which looks like it’s supposed do be duplicate content) only contains 786 lines of text – as if nothing gets written after the line containing ’.fontspace-210067 { letter-spacing: 2em; }’. Not sure if they’re supposed to be exactly the same?
Hi! Can you also confirm you are running PHP 7? Have you also the latest Uncode 1.6.4? This is really odd and from here it’s not easy to debug what happen (really first time we have this report). Let us know!
How many fonts stacks you have in Theme Options? I think the only possible reason is that you don’t have any other fonts stacks so it search an assignment.
I have php v.5.6.31and Uncode v.1.6.4. Currently there are 9 font stacks: Poppins, Droid Serif, Dosis, Playfair Display, Oswald, Robots, Nunito, Robots Slab and Lato

Hi, I am planning to buy a Theme to build up a website for my girl friend who is yoga teacher. I have found your Theme which looks nice and a Jupiter 5.0 which is quite similar. So my questions is what makes Uncode more stand out than Jupiter? Why i should buy Uncode? Also I have noticed that Uncode has few h1 tags on one page. Jupiter has not. I don’t properly understand the h1 issue. Anyway for example in this page (https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/creative-artist/) there 4 H1 tags, please note that 3 time you find “h1” it’s because it’s used as CSS class name (to define font sizes like H1) and not as HTML tag (in fact there is only 1 H1 tag used by the end): http://undsgn.d.pr/y77P81/5tWSqJdS

Hi Undsgn,
Our support period has expired and I have a question to determine whether we should renew. During the support period, the Undsgn team has been really helpful in changing the ‘add to cart’ button on our client’s website to a ‘read more’ button and to have that button redirect to a page instead of adding something to the cart. These modifications were done in the child theme.
Back when we were working on this issue, I asked the developers whether I should worry that these changes would potentially not work anymore because of theme updates. They told me they would still work because modifications were done in the child theme. In this case I think it may also be WooCommerce files that have potentially changed in releases. Whatever the cause may be, the button now does not redirect anymore but instead is back to adding products to the cart.
I looked through our old support tickets and the Undsgn team also helped making things work without sometimes stating where something / what in the files was changed. That is also why I cannot figure it out myself. If we renew support, can you help us solve the issue to make the button redirect properly again?

Hi effiecient! Just to understand… have you both updated the theme and WooCommerce? I think the problem that over time the WooCommerce files were updated with new templates and now the old files in the child theme are not the one in use. What modifications you have in the child theme? Sorry but I don’t remind what modification our team applied.

Yes, both have been updated. Uncode to version 1.6.2 according to the Sytem Status and WooCommerce is version 3.2.1. There is a ‘functions.php’ file in the child theme to which I see the undsgn team made some changes and then there is a woocommerce folder in the child theme with a file named ‘taxonomy-product_cat.php’. I cannot see if any adjustments have been made here.
And I have an additional question: we use a test location to develop our client’s website and would like to move it to their URL when the website has completed. The test location will then be deleted (it will not stay online). Whenever I enter the license key for Uncode on the test location, it activates and then when I reload the page it is deactivated again. We are not using this key for multiple websites, only this one. Do you know what may be causing this? And also, are we okay using this one license to move from the test location to the definitive location and then deleting the test location?

Hi effiecient! The latest Uncode version is 1.6.4, maybe it’s better to update anyway (https://support.undsgn.com/hc/articles/214001205). It seems that the modification is not detected, can you please upload a screenshot of the file location (folders structure in Child Theme) and a copy of the file we can download to check (‘taxonomy-product_cat.php’)?
Do you have this license also active on other installations? You can use only 1 at time. Yep anyway it’s fine you move the license when live.

Hi effiecient! From what I can understand (but it’s odd) it seems that the customised file is not detected, this can be only related to the fact that the new WooCommerce version uses different functions than the one used for the customised version. I can only suggest to try do downgrade the WooCommerce version (just search on Google there are tutorials for this) or open a private ticket so we can debug the issue and re-create the modifications tailored to the new WC version. Sorry but cannot help better without debug the site.

I have another small doubt: Why on the backend adding a single media element shows a generic thumbnail instead of displaying the thumbnail of the image I added? Is there any way to fix it? In the full version of VC it does it correctly.

Hi davidss71! Yes I know it’s a good idea, don’t why so few sales for this plugin, I don’t know maybe it’s heavy manage both backend both frontend in the same browser window.
As you know Uncode uses a super tailored version of VC and this was our design idea to get a more clean interface (we really don’t like how VC looks in the admin). Anyway appreciate the feedback!

Hello guys, it’s like a karma dunno why. once my support expired now facing big problem right now. My page is super slow and my main page doesn’t work at all (other pages works). I found, that the problem is in uncode-js_composer plugin. Please solve this problem asap.

It seems that something has changed on your server or you have installed extra plugins, it’s pretty odd that your site start to go slow and pages broken without any actions, a theme definitely doesn’t broke itself without any actions. Unfortunately it’s really not easy to debug in words a so odd issue that seems server related. What I can suggest is to deactivate all extra plugins and verify that you don’t have any errors in the System Status (https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214000785). The uncode-js_composer plugin is the main Uncode plugin but it’s improbable the error is here since thousand of sites are based on Uncode (https://undsgn.com/uncode/showcase/), obviously you see the error here since any pages is rendered via Visual Composer. If this not helps please at least share your site URL so we can check the front-end.
PS: please also verify you don’t have inserted some super heavy images as some featured image, you can have a blank page if you upload a very big images and your server is not able to process (create the required thumbnail).
Hello guys, i tried to deactivate all plugins and then i started to activate them one by one… the plugin, i send you is the problem. If i deactivate it, the page works fine, but without VC so there is only big long code. It shows me, that the page is unable to connect at all.. it not even drops 404 page. I also checked, if there is not a big image. There is not… I compress all images to maximum 300kb size

As told the problem is not the main Uncode plugins, first of all if the problem is this plugin here you should see 28.000+ tickets reporting the same problem, second your site perfectly worked and now is broken, since the files are the same it’s supposed something new or external create the issue. You have the issue with this plugins since it’s the one that transform datas to graphic page. I hope this make sense. Please activate the WP Debug mode and notify.
Can you also confirm you don’t have errors in the System Status? Moreover what version of WP and Uncode do you have?
hello, i have the newest one versions of WP and Uncode. I tried program wordfence after recommendation and it founds litteraly nothing. i only repaired few stuffs which needs to be done and the main page is still not working

1. Ask your host for FTP access and ask to tell you the problem they read in the Log file (it’s a file host can read if there are errors).
2. Open a private ticket in our Help Center, so we can access your installation privately, and if the problem is Uncode related we’ll give you a refund.
Really we cannot help better if your site worked like a charm and now without any updates is broken.

Hi! The Log request was prior you fixed by deactivating new blog posts. Now there aren’t error here since this file only records error if there are actual error. Now there is only a normal server report. As told the problem is in some of the assets you have used for this new blog posts. As suggested have you tried to recreate the article from scratch and test at what moment the site stops working? I’m pretty sure the problem is with your featured image. Hello, i totaly made replaced my blog.. made totaly new one. put pictures into single medias etc same as every page on my page and its still not working.. i get to some stage, that it might be something with categories i created… could you please guys take a look on it and try to tell me, what can be bad with categories if i worked fine for nearly 3 weeks?

Hello, i really tried it… and if i put it in categories “not included” its working well, righ after i put it into category, and filter post row in my main page and put exactly the blog i want there, its not working. As long as i started to have this problem, my customer support ended. No sorry you cannot communicate with customer support, there are some policies on Theme Forest, I hope you can understand that otherwise all customers should ask for free extra support. If you are able to recreate this issue in a blank installation please feel free to comunicate here what is the problem with a specific test case, so our developers can reproduce and create a fix, but I really think this is not related to Uncode otherwise with so many sales some other customers should have reported the same problem (any users have categories). Have you tried to recreate categories? Change the categories permalinks etc?
Hello guys! I made it.. i just deleted and re-created categories 3times in row and its already working!
Just one technical thing, if im writing blog, im putting text into text blocks, but the problem is, that if i do “blank space” similar to “enter” on keyboard, the empty space is showed into text block but if i take a look on blog post, there are no empty spaces, what am i doing bad? do I need to do it differently, then just pressing enter where i want empty space? thank you

Hi Lhami! The TypeKit method works like a charm, you just need to check some sites from the showcase (https://undsgn.com/uncode/showcase/). If you have this issue this happen since you have inserted the wrong CSS font name in the Font Stacks or the font has a different CSS name, so you see the font only in desktop since you have the font also installed in your computer. Can you please tell me the TypeKit font you are trying to use so we can help?

Can you please help, i’m trying to update the theme in FTP and when i’m trying to install & activate the Visual Composer, it active plugins section – it constantly gives me message—failed to install, the folder already exists, even tho i wiped the previous version from server like 10 times now. I try to upload that specific plugin manually too so many times, always the same exact message, i can’t get theme to run.
What is the issue here that i’m not seeing?

Is there some way to speed up the pagination when using the Posts – Isotope-Masonry module?
I have 16 posts, the blocks have: feature image, title, extract and read more. the first page display 10 posts and the secon 6 posts, but the pagination delay take more than 5 seconds to load the second page. I try using Firefox and Chrome.
I am using the last version with uncode demo data.

Hi enjoit! The pagination mode just create an Ajax call, this is just up server respond times to get back with the server response. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be improved at files level, waiting times here are just server respond times.

How do I disallow one of the user roles to edit other users’ content sliders? Something like edit_others_posts but for content sliders. I looked into the theme’s code (using grep) but couldn’t find any custom capabilities defined!
Hi and sorry for delay! Unfortunately this is not an option, in WordPress this is defined only for basic stuff and main roles, you can try to check some roles plugins that define more settings based on Custom Post Type too (in this case Content Block CPT). I hope this helps!
Thanks for the reply. I used some CSS to visually hide other users’ content sliders (since I’m not too worried about them editing the sliders). .type-uncodeblock.author-other { display: none }

Your latest version 1.6.4 can’t install the plugins properly. It says “Download failed. Not Found” Can you update the files please?

Tried to copy the files manually to the plug ins folder and it installs but the css styles are not linking.
