One of my clients has been unable to add any more than 7 rows of content to a page, when they add more it is deleted/disappears. We’ve tried updating the theme but it still isn’t functioning properly. The theme and wordpress are up to date, no extra plugins have been added, are you able to advise on this issue?

the images/media you see on pre-built websites works on different licenses so it depends which images you want to use on your site exactly. Some of them operate under a free license, some we made ourselves but for some, we bought licenses. So basically, if you want to use these last images legally, you need to buy their licenses as well.

Yes, the same place I went to turn it on…turning it off doesn’t seem to work…again, how can I fix that? I currently have no information listed in the under construction menu and it’s currently set to OFF.

Do we have to type the Excerpts for every single post manually? The theme does not pull the excerpt automatically from the post?

the theme pull the excerpt automatically from the post of course but only if the content is set inside WordPress default editor. Otherwise, you need to set excerpt manually for every single post.

Hello! I’m trying to install the package plugin from the theme but I can’t. The error is: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files. Plugin update failed. I installed all the WPfiles and theme files again but same problem.

If you want to use this theme for few sites, then you must buy as many licenses as many sites you want to build. you got this message about “outdated copies” because you did update WooCommerce plugin but you did not done the same with the BeTheme. To use recent version of WooCommerce plugin, you need to have recent version of the theme as well. Therefore, please remove all theme files (whole /betheme/ folder) via FTP, download the newest version and then upload the newest betheme folder instead. A lot of things has changed in recent WooCommerce version and that’s why it is so important to remove all theme files from FTP first.

I see the latest theme update has much lighter child theme and parent theme and now has one click update. This is a great relief as we have not been able to update the child theme and parent theme since 6 months we purchased.
How do I update our existing parent theme and child theme to these new updates released so can commence using the one-click to update the child and parent themes.

Now I have uploaded the latest theme vial FileZilla. What is next thing to do? I can’ see exact steps to follow in forum. The child theme is currently active on our site. How do I use latest theme to update the existing parent and child themes? Thank you
Child team is Version: 11.5.1494452216
All you need to do is remove old theme folder and upload the newest one instead. That’s all you need to do via FTP.

Now we have these error response on Themes menu
“Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. For the child theme it says – The parent theme is missing. Please install the “betheme” parent theme.
For the new 20 theme installed it says – Stylesheet is missing
When 20 theme was activated wp-admin was no longer accessible and front end website lost all customisations.
Now we reverted to 17.8.3 and dashboard and website are restored.
Help please.
You got this error about “stylesheet is missing” because you are trying to install wrong package. The theme file you supposed to install is betheme.zip
