There isn’t supposed to be a related posts bar in the portfolio pages. It must be coming from a 3rd party plugin like Jetpack. Please disable the feature from the plugin or the plugin itself in order to remove it.

Hi there! Your template is awesome! I really like it. I have a question. I’m using a Full Screen Slider for my home page at http://leecaptures.com. I want to replace it with a Revolution Slider. I used the Full Screen Revolution Slider “Home 3” for desktop testing.The test page is: http://leecaptures.com/home-new/. How can I get this slider to scale to full screen the same way as for the Full Screen Slider? At the home-new page I have to scroll down to see the footer and with the Full Screen Slider I don’t.

Hi Michael,
Kindly ensure you configure the following Slider Settings correctly -
Slider Type – Standard Slide Layout – Full Screen Increase/Decrease Full Screen Height – include the wrappers #header and #footer

To reduce the space above the text, you need to reduce the value of TOP PADDING in the Section’s Settings in TATSU.

When viewing the blog on desktop or tablet, the featured image is next to the text. But when viewing on smartphone the featured image is above the text and actually the text is stuck to the bottom of the featured image .. there is no space between them. How can I create some space with custom CSS ?

Hello Swami,
I have a problem with text in the Master Slider. The text is on a resizable layer and on desktop it’s ok, on iPad also but on smartphone the text is far too small. When I put ‘Resizable Layer’ OFF the text on smartphone is a little too big (but that’s not really a problem).The main problem is that there is no automatic Word Wrap so I see only a part of the text.
Is there a custom CSS code to have Word Wrap on text layers in the Master Slider ?

Hi Antoine,
The responsiveness of the Layers of the Master Slider can be fixed by setting the Resizable layer option to OFF and Don’t change layer position when resizing browser as ON. Here is a screenshot highlighting both the options.

My page won’t save in Tatsu if I try and use a script in the page. I’ve tried entering it into a code panel, text..etc. It only saves if I just use the page as a regular wordpress page with the script inserted.

Adding script tag in the CODE module in TATSU should work, unless there is a portfion of markup that is incorrect. We can check this for you. Kindly email your URL, wp-admin id and password along with the script that you have added to help@brandexponents.com so we can investigate this.

The typography settings for the elements in the theme and TATSU are present in the options panel under OSHINE OPTIONS > TYPOGRAPHY. The Font settings for the Modules in TATSU will be present in the PAGE BUILDER panel in this menu. If you are looking to modify the typography of an element that in not listed here, we can provide custom css accordinly.

Hi, I never ask or request any help when I installed and use Oshine to build my site. Everything is good and smooth
Currently I’m moving my Oshine theme site to a new host. Everything looks fine except the portfolio thumbnail scale size, though no setting have been change from my previous setting. I used the default 1.6 scale, and also have tried the “Regenerate Thumbnail” tips I got from here, but still no good.
I tried to visit the brandexponents site to find any information there, but the site is down/close. I don’t know where else I should look for answers and ask for help.

Have you rectified the issue already or I believe it might just be a browser cache issue. Could you try clearing your cache ?

Hi, how can I change my site’s meta description in the Google search results? It now displays the standard Oshine message. I’ve tried changing it with Yoast plugin but to no avail.
Could you kindly share your website url so that I can check if the meta description tag is getting added properly. You should however note that, it will take a while for the google bot to crawl and reindex your site naturally, until which your change may not reflect. You can connect your site to Google Webmasters and request for a re-crawl, which may help you index your recent changes.

When I put pictures into the gallery they are cropping the heads off. How do I fix this.
Kindly turn on the “Masonry Layout” option in the gallery module’s settings in the page builder. This will ensure the images are displayed in their native aspect ratios without any cropping. Alternatively you can define a specific aspect ratio to which they have to be cropped under the OSHINE OPTIONS -> PORTFOLIO SETTINGS panel. You will then have to use the REGENERATE THUMBNAILS plugin to regenerate all the gallery thumbnails from the media library.
Hi, I use the “Gallery” object of Tatsu Page Builder to create different portfolios. The problem is that I have more than 1000 photographs that are subdivided into the various galleries and so I have some galleries that contain about 100-150 photos each and the management is quite ‘machinate’ with the Tatsu Page Builder. I wanted to know: 1) if you have a suggestion for a more convenient way to manage the photos inside the Gallery 2) if Oshine is compatible with some Media File Manager plugins for Wordpress es: “https://torquemag.io/2015/06/media-file-manager-plugins-wordpress/”

The latest version of master slider plugin and other plugins can be found inside the theme folder, under the following directory. ( lib/plugins ) Unfortunately we have recently been asked to not include the plugins in a separate plugins directory as it was already included inside the theme folder and was adding to the overall file size of the download package in themeforest.

Hi, I want to set a logo which supports retina displays. For this I created an image with twice the normal size and uploaded it.
Problem: Oshin uses the original image size and my header got twice as tall as it was before.
I already tried to add some CSS which scales the displayed image to half the size but the header still scales to the original image size.
What can I do?

You need to follow the steps below to create and upload a retina logo.
1. Rename your retina logo with the @2x suffix. YOUR_LOGO_NAME@2x.png
2. Upload it to the same directory where your normal logo is. If you are uploading it in the same month as your normal logo, then you can upload it directly using the media library. But if incase you are uploading the retina logo at a different time, then locate the directory in which your normal logo is and then use FTP to upload your retina logo to the same directory. Wordpress saves media library uploads to different directories based on their timestamp.
3. Install and Activate the WP Retina plugin to serve the Retina Logo in retina images.
Logo’s recommended width should be nearly 250px.

We have tested it out in one of our test setups and haven’t had any issues so far. And I also believe a number of users would have updated to it and haven’t had any complaints so far that are related to WordPress version 4.8.3.

Apologies currently there isn’t an option to disable lightbox, however we will definitely include an option in a subsequent update. Not the upcoming one but the one after that.

It’s been 2 years and the theme still doesn’t have option to disable woocommerce lightbox. It’s a pity since this is a really great theme otherwise. This feature should be included already, it’s a basic option that I believe many woocommerce users would need or be really happy to have.

The problem is that not many of them had requested this feature and as you can see we have added a ton of features over the last two years. Its not that we don’t think it will be a useful feature, we had just forgotten about it. I have added it to our roadmap and we will definitely add an option to turn off the lightbox functionality in the near future.
