Hi, after updating I can’t change anything anymore. When I click on pages, plugins or anything else wordpress always jumps directly to the control panel? How to fix that?

Hi,

It’s a known caching issue. You can fix it by clearing your browser local storage by hitting F12 (Or open Developer Tools) on your backend page and navigate to Application tab and choose the local storage and hit the remove button.

Remember to check all the tutorials steps or Skip them after clearing the Local Storage.

All sorts of things seem to have gone wrong during a routine addition of a few new products. Instagram widget has vanished, parts of visual composer elements are overlapping each other, visual composer dropdowns are hidden behind the composer so you can’t select anything. I ran the WP update to see if it would resolve the problem but it doesn’t. I’m going to have to take the website offline until this is resolved.

We are outside of support time now. I don’t feel like we should have to pay for support for this issue, everything was working fine a couple of days ago and the update has caused this.

It seems to be only the animated columns element that has a problem (only one that I’ve found anyway). If you select an item from the dropdown, to populate the animated column, you can’t change which item you selected afterwards. You can add an additional item from the dropdown but the ability to remove an item is gone. It seems like there should be an ‘x’ to remove but it’s as if the ‘x’ has gone beyond the edge of the screen and cannot be reached. And the Instagram widget, that’s just blank now, I’ve tried to recreate it but it’s still blank.

Hi,

Please create a ticket and provide more details information to help us able to replicate it and find out if it’s a bug.

You can set the ticket as a bug report.

This Comment section just focuses on the pre-sale rather than technical support or bug report, so create a ticket is needed.

Regards.

Small Bug noticed (not a big deal but worth noting). Under theme options / header / pre-built header / header style 4. The toolbar on/off toggle is reversed so on is off and off is on.

I am running version 6. Here is a picture of the issue. You can see the overlap

https://www.lukepatrickillustrations.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/screen-shot-2017-11-10-at-11.09.05-am.png

A temporary fix I found is to add this to the style sheet changing the absolute position to fixed. }

.woocommerce-checkout .full-layout #customer_details .col-2 {
   position: static !important;

Hi,

Thank you so much for your details information, I can replicate this bug on my test site and reported to Dev Team.

They will recheck and implement this fix in the future update.

I have been getting a status warning regarding memory_limit being too small at 40M. I had been using a php.ini file until GoDaddy informed me that this was no longer required on their CPanel and I was to use a.user.ini file. The file I created had memory_limit set at 512M and I have had no issue with my other 12 domains. A phpinfo() check also showed that the 512M was in fact set. I had recalled that my default-constants.php have some code referencing memory_limit to be 40M given certain conditions. I have changed that code so that it now reads 256M. The status page is now showing 256M and warning has gone but my phpinfo() is still showing 512M that is set in user.ini file. Can anyone tell me the difference and why I should get a warning from default setting in Jupiter theme

Good day – Presale Question – Does this theme make use of visual composer as it’s page builder? Or is it a custom composer? Or is it a customised visual composer? Sorry – it’s just frustrating trying to learn new composers each time we want to build sites. Please let me know.

Hi,

We’re using the Visual Composer plugin as the editor on the Jupiter theme, but it’s a Modified version with many shortcodes and features from the theme besides the original VC plugin items.

Regards.

Awesome! I’m sold ;)

You’re welcome :)

Bug report with the new V6 version. After updating theme, full width sections ar enot shown as full width anymore but placed in a grid of 1160px no matter what options I select. Only revolution sliders that have the full width setting enabled show in actual full width.

reverted back to the previous version because it is a live website. Is there anything known about this bug?

Hi,

This is known as a bug in the V.6, we will release a new update to fix it very soon.

Hope you understand this matter, thank you so much.

Regards.

Ah okay, thank you! I will await the fix.

Thanks for your understanding, really appreciate.

The default contact form from the theme isn’t saving form entries to my databases…what am I missing?

Hello, this issue has now been fixed. Thank you very much for the prompt and efficient support. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for the update, please kindly let us know if you need any assistance.

Clearing the local storage doesn’t fix the issue for me… it’s not even working with a new browser. Woocommerce pages are also not working anymore. Rolling back to 5.9.7 now…

Hi,

A new update will be released to fix these reported issues very soon.

Please kindly stay tuned and follow the update notification.

Thank you so much.

Regards.

Having the same issue – after update to version 6 being redirected to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=Jupiter, even in a completely clean Google Chrome installation. Clearing the browser local storage doesn’t help.

Reverting back to 5.9.7, for now, fixes this issue.

It’s one thing for me to be able to revert back if an issue arises, it’s a different story if it’s on client’s websites.

Good update I can see the improved speed, but you guys are not evolving, still I cant have a more friendly mobile menu, still the videos are charged on mobile version even when they are not displayed, already there is a solution for IOS to display videos, but is not supported on your theme.. hopefully you start paying attention to all the small problems on the mobile version..

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback, it already has many improvements and features in the Jupiter V.6 and it needs time for the others implement.

But we will consider the features you feedback in the future update.

FYI Artbees, I updated to 6 and some of the UI elements are not rendering in numerous browsers on Mac and PC. Specifically, the tab UI elements are showing no content. The tab elements are there, but the content is not. Reverting back 5 for now.

@ArtbeesSupport No need for support on my end as I fixed the site by reverting back. Just letting you know that this update isn’t ready for release. In addition to the issue mentioned above, there were other issues with the update.

Thanks for your feedback, we’re working on the issues reported, a new update to fix it will be released very soon.

I can not enter the web, so I can not do anything about the F12 that you are commenting on. I leave a conversation with our data server computer that tells us that you have an error that you should correct: 19:02:03 Oscar Cantorna: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’!’ in /home/maxgloxar/www/wp-content/themes/jupiter/header-builder/includes/shortcodes/mkhb-navigation.php on line 671 19:02:09 Óscar Cantorna: we see that the hosting has a syntax error 19:02:18 Óscar Cantorna: it would be necessary for the subject’s supplier to review it

Hi,

Please kindly try to upgrade the PHP on your server to 5.6+

This error happens because the PHP version of your server is low.

Regards.

updating from 5.9.5 to 6 caused mk-blog.php to get ignored. I had to copy config.php and vc_map.php from jupiter parent to get it working again. (/components/shortcodes/mk_blog)

however i see some 404s in your new beta header feature – thought i’d report them for you – http://itvolcano.com/screenshots/2017-11-09___19-56-00___8.png – seems the header builder is trying to read those files from the child – files don’t exist since this is a child.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback, that Child theme issue will be fixed in the next update.

Regards.
