Updated a client’s site to Jupiter 6.0 and it completely destroyed the site. When I tried to downgrade to 5.9.7 I am told the update package is unavailable, and the manual download link is broken. Where can I get 5.9.7 to manually downgrade?
Update – it took over an hour but I managed to salvage the site. The update from 5.9.7 to 6.0 might have some issues – I recommend folks delay updating for a bit in case some new updates address any issues.

After I upgraded to version 6, I can not edit Visual Editor.

Please delete the current WPBakery Page Builder ( or Visual Composer plugin) on your site via the Plugin manager area.
Then go to the Jupiter > Control Panel > Required Plugins > Install the Visual Composer plugin on this section and recheck.

Just updated to V6 and my whole site is gone! I still have the backend but there is no HTML on the front, meaning when you look at the page source, it is completely blank. Need this fixed ASAP!

My support is passed but I shouldn’t need it for just updating a theme. Besides, there is no site login thanks to the update. Can I just use FTP and reload Jupiter 5.9.7? My point is, like so many others here, the update crashed/damaged our sites.
Purchased extended support. Need this corrected asap please.

Something changed with 6.0 that will likely mess with people purposely holding off on updating. I updated a site to 5.9.7 and when I went to update Visual Composer it installed 5.4.2 instead of 5.2.1. The artbees static js composer file that was pulled didn’t have a version number in it, so it was probably the latest for 6.0. This caused that common issue where video backgrounds of boats started showing. The temp fix is to uninstall Visual Composer and then manually install it with the file that came in the Jupiter zip.

This issue meant you’re using the Original version of the Visual Composer plugin, not the Modified version included in the Jupiter theme.
To solve this, you will need to uninstall the current VC plugin, then go to the Jupiter > Control Panel > Required Plugins > Install the VC on this area.

I followed those steps but the issue problem happens. Let me explain better: I was updating a site that was Jupiter 5.9 and Visual Composer (Modified) 5.1.1. I updated the theme to 5.9.7 and that went fine, but when I updated VC as you instructed, it went straight to 5.4.2 (which is meant for Jupiter 6.0) instead of 5.2.1 (which is meant for Jupiter 5.9.7). It never went to the original line of VC as you suggested, but instead went to the latest modified version that doesn’t pair with Jupiter 5.9.7. The only way to avoid this right now is to manually upload the ZIP of VC that came with 5.9.7.

That section is built with the Image shortcode, but it has some extra configuration to achieve that special parallax effect on hover.
The only way to get it is waiting for this template released in the future and install it on your site.

It’s a known caching issue. You can fix it by clearing your browser local storage by hitting F12 (Or open Developer Tools) on your backend page and navigate to Application tab and choose the local storage and hit the remove button.

All sorts of things seem to have gone wrong during a routine addition of a few new products. Instagram widget has vanished, parts of visual composer elements are overlapping each other, visual composer dropdowns are hidden behind the composer so you can’t select anything. I ran the WP update to see if it would resolve the problem but it doesn’t. I’m going to have to take the website offline until this is resolved.
I’ve now fully updated WP, WooCommerce, Jupiter, Plugins, Visual Composer, etc. There seems to be some serious issues with visual composer / jupiter. eg. animated columns will not allow certain edits such as what is selected to appear within the column, the problem appears in both ‘classic’ and ‘front end’ views. The Instagram widget seems to be dead. And everything has become very slow and clunky.
I was forced to delete the elements that needed to be edited and recreated them as new.

We are outside of support time now. I don’t feel like we should have to pay for support for this issue, everything was working fine a couple of days ago and the update has caused this.
It seems to be only the animated columns element that has a problem (only one that I’ve found anyway). If you select an item from the dropdown, to populate the animated column, you can’t change which item you selected afterwards. You can add an additional item from the dropdown but the ability to remove an item is gone. It seems like there should be an ‘x’ to remove but it’s as if the ‘x’ has gone beyond the edge of the screen and cannot be reached. And the Instagram widget, that’s just blank now, I’ve tried to recreate it but it’s still blank.

Small Bug noticed (not a big deal but worth noting). Under theme options / header / pre-built header / header style 4. The toolbar on/off toggle is reversed so on is off and off is on.
Another 2 bugs found.
When using header style 4. During the checkout process (delivery and payment) the "Order Summary" box keeps overlapping the fields that users have to fill out. I'm pretty sure this is an issue only with header 4 because as soon as I scale the browser width down to a mobile version size the problem goes away.
Another Bug or just something that could be improved. The checkout steps are problematic when reduced to smaller screen sizes. They look really bad. A possible solution would be to have the displayed as css display: block to center them and have the arrow be pointing down or hidden.

I have been getting a status warning regarding memory_limit being too small at 40M. I had been using a php.ini file until GoDaddy informed me that this was no longer required on their CPanel and I was to use a.user.ini file. The file I created had memory_limit set at 512M and I have had no issue with my other 12 domains. A phpinfo() check also showed that the 512M was in fact set. I had recalled that my default-constants.php have some code referencing memory_limit to be 40M given certain conditions. I have changed that code so that it now reads 256M. The status page is now showing 256M and warning has gone but my phpinfo() is still showing 512M that is set in user.ini file. Can anyone tell me the difference and why I should get a warning from default setting in Jupiter theme

Bug report with the new V6 version. After updating theme, full width sections ar enot shown as full width anymore but placed in a grid of 1160px no matter what options I select. Only revolution sliders that have the full width setting enabled show in actual full width.
reverted back to the previous version because it is a live website. Is there anything known about this bug?

Clearing the local storage doesn’t fix the issue for me… it’s not even working with a new browser. Woocommerce pages are also not working anymore. Rolling back to 5.9.7 now…
