NIce theme – Really liking the Tatsu content management.
I have a few issues with the theme;
1) The contact form does not work. It did in the initial stages of testing, but I have no idea why it isn’t working anymore. Is there a support centre that I can send my login detains to that can assist with the issue?
2) When using social media profile icons/links, Instagram does not show up as one of the social link options. Is there an upgrade that can solve this or is there something I can do to make Instagram an addition to the social icon URLs listed?

You can use the custom CSS code below to set the height of the pricing feature to a constant value so that it does not vary based on the amount of text -

height: 40px;
}
You can modify the value of the height to suit the amount of text you have.

Ensure that you have not pasted the code along with the ‘pre’ tags. And also ensure that you have not turned ON the options panel cache under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.
Please ignore that notice from redux framework. FORCED DEV MODE OFF It is to basically turn off their advertising in the backend. Its not an issue and will not affect the functioning of the theme.

However, i tested a couple other portfolios in your site such as -

The recent update was for just an update to the thumbnail and preview image here in themeforest that reflects our current promotion for black friday and cyber monday. The latest theme version is still 6.0.3. We will update the changelog when there is one. We plan to release a theme update next week and will notify you then.

Hi,
The issue seems to occur due to conflicting style from one of your 3rd party plugins. Kindly disable them to check which one might be causing the issue and also clear your Plugin cache to ensure the features in the theme are functioning properly.
I also notice that you have 2 copies of the theme in your wordpress installation. This might cause some issue due to file conflicts. Request you to have only one copy of the active theme.

The “Proud to have worked with” is basically a text module with the text enclosed in the H6 tag. This is followed by CLIENTS module in the page builder. The CLIENTS module is a multi-level module and will help you build the carousel with the logos. By the way this is the shortcode – Copy the code, open the Tatsu builder, click on the Section next to which you want this to be placed and press CTRL + V in windows or CMD + V in a Mac to paste the section.

Is this theme compatible with Wordpress 4.9?
Yes it is. We have tested it and haven’t had any issues specific to the 4.9 update so far. We are constantly monitoring user reports and if there are issues, an update will be released with the required patches.

We recommend using the contact form 7 plugin for those who would like to build advanced customized forms. Once you create your form using the contact form 7 plugin, you will be provided a shortcode for embedding that form. Kindly copy the shortcode, and in the page builder of your contact page or where ever you would like to publish it, paste it in the editor of a PLUGIN SHORTCODES module in TATSU builder.

It appears as though it is empty, but when I drag pages into the ‘Menu Structure’ I am given this message:

I’d like my blog titles on the main blog post page to be < h1 > for SEO. It appears they are < h5 > by default [class=”post-title”]. It seems i can change the height of the blog post title (Oshine Options -> Typography -> Blog Posts), but not the H value. Is there a way to do this AND can I then change the height of the title H1 value, too? Thanks!

To edit the H tag, you need to corresponding loop template file using the Child theme. The Child theme is present in the buyer’s package that you downloaded from themeforest. You need to install and activate it. The Blog Templates can be found within the BLOG folder. You have to replicate the folder structure in the child theme and place the edited the loop template in child theme for your changes to take effect.

Thanks! Are there any plans to make the title tags H1 for SEO purposes? Could I potentially turn of the title display in each post and manually have the title as an H1, and then use typography setting to change the size of the H1 tags?

As mentioned earlier the Child Theme option is pretty straight forward and most effective. By changing the Tag to H1, you can then modify the settings using the options under OSHINE OPTIONS > TYPOGRAPHY > HEADINGS.

I renewed support, and tried the child theme – ended up causing massive layout issues and I had to restore the site from a backup from 24 hours prior. I guess I assumed that installing a child theme wouldn’t change my layout – but it did.
I also noticed the oshine child theme only had a CSS file and screenshot…no functions.php file; isn’t there supposed to be one?
Is the child theme the only way to change headings to H1?

Kindly try using the child theme to over ride the CSS code. The child theme can be found in the buyers package that you download from Themeforest. Unfortunately, I get ‘The parent theme is missing. Please install the “oshin” parent theme.’ on trying to use the child theme.
But I have found that inserting:
.header-cart-controls .icon-icon_bag_alt:before {content: ”\”;font-family: ‘icomoon’ !important;}
.add_to_cart_button.button.product_type_simple:before {content: ”\”;font-family: ‘icomoon’ !important;}
into the custom CSS on the parent theme works, but why doesn’t it work if I use the ‘e667’ as the content above. The little square is copied from the ‘http://brandexponents.com/icomoon/demo.html' and is just the little square on the right hand side of the icon detail.
If you could explain, both my queries I would be very grateful, so if I need to change this again in the future I dont have to bother you guys!

The editor provided by the redux framework which we use for the Options Panel is primitive and hence does not read the code when it added as ‘CONTENT’. The back slash in the code ’\ e667’ is treated as escape character and hence does not reflect on your site.
I tried to activate the child theme in your site and did not face the issue. I have activated the child theme and added the code to change the cart icon. Kindly clear your browser’s cache and test this.
