Hi, should the images of the articles have a minimum size?

Yes, there most definitely need a minimum size. It will have to be at least the size of the biggest thumbnail you use on your site. You will have to assess the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. If you use post templates that use the full-size images like http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full HD image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element, in particular on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container. Otherwise, they will not fit inside and not display correctly. I am trying to update the theme via envato market plugin. I have it installed and it says that there is a 8.2 update available but when I click it nothing happens, the update symbol doesn’t spin and if I check the newspaper welcome screen it still shows the older version number, What to do?

Why does the update break functionality? Suddenly we can’t use the grid blocks anymore in combination with a widgetized sidebar and the text with title doesn’t let us show only a title, it needs text / html.

The update does not break the theme functionality. The updates are always tested again and again and such issues would have been seen immediately. You most likely have a different cause to the issue. This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If the issue is still there, please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation.

Please, add to next version 2 popular social networks – ok.ru and telegram. And the ability to configure “ARTICLE SHARING”. Because I don’t need google+, twitter and pinterest there, but very need vk.com and ok.ru. I have already bought 4 licenses. why is it that no matter how many times people request for you to either remodel the mobile theme as an option to expand to iPad sizes or create an iPad friendly version you simply always say no… Are user suggestions no longer important to your development?
You may think there is no need given your full theme fits but maybe people like the neatly packaged option of the mobile theme.
I appreciate that you sell a lot of products and probably feel that user input is unnecessary but there has been a few people make reference to the iPad view not looking so good and the mobile theme…. Why cant this be expanded so that it can work for iPads and iPad minis?

This is due to the fact that a tablet is not a mobile phone. It is a tablet. The screen is bigger on tablets and they can show the desktop version. Why do you say the ipad does not look so good? Because there are lots of themes out there that cater a better and different experience on the iPad. Some people might want a snappy app theme for the iPad. Especially as it’s a news website.
The full version is great for website but it wouldn’t kill you guys to come up.wjth an iPad option. Something that feels special.
It would definitely not kill us but we have lots of requsts and have to prioritize. If this request becomes more popular, we will consider implementing a different experience for ipad users, but there are not many requests in this regard. If this becomes more popular, we will implement it into our theme.

Please consider adding these features as soon as possible, these features will make your sales jump higher and Newspaper theme will be #1 most selling theme ever. Definitely almost everybody who purchased this theme will benefit from such features and those who are hesitating to buy the Newspaper theme Definitely will make the purchase.

I said I added it to our listI will add this to our list but this request needs to become more popular if we are to consider implementing it into our themeUnfortunately we had no requests for this since. Please understand we have lots of requests and have to prioritize based on popularity. For the moment there is no plan to implement the options you mention as we do not have many requests in this regard.

4. Yes, our theme is fully responsive and will work properly on all devices.
5. SEO is something that needs to be implemented by each user in particular. The theme has the necessary markup but there is no magic seo button to click and all is done. You will need to use the seo yoast plugin and make the implementation presented here: https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/
