Strange. When I click on the ‘Watch the Film’ links on, say, Category Templates or Astonishing Post Styles, I get a pop up and black screen. I’m using both Chrome and Safari on a Mac. Has been that way for weeks now. No worries, maybe I’m alone with the problem

You claimed that your theme support WooCommerce but when I installed it then not supporting please check given issues.

This seems like a plugin conflict as the layout is wrong in all your screenshots. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Issue 1 & 2 has been resolved after de-activate “w3 total cache” plugin but this is very important plugin what should i do now ? is this solution ?

Notice that the W3TotalCache plugin has not been tested with our theme and that’s why it might cause a lot of unknown issues. Instead of this, you should use our recommended caching plugins which is WP Super Cache. Please keep in mind that the Woocommerce should works as expected with the theme and you should follow the official documentation in order to create your cart page, according to this topic here -> https://docs.woocommerce.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/ If you will check our demo preview here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/shop/ you will see how the cart page should have to look like.

I updated the theme due to a hijack, that was caused by the theme itself, through some code injected in the custom js area. The error has appeared when i deleted that code.

It seems you used an old version of the theme. The hijack you mentioned happened in newspaper 6 but it was fixed long ago. As fort the error you are getting, please also update the visual composer plugin as you are still using an old version of the plugin. Disable and delete the version you currently have active and then install it again using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Sorry but you can only install 1 demo at a time. You cannot have separate demos for each category in particular. The only way this can be done is with a multi-site install with multiple install of WordPress and the theme and redirects created between them.

The featured video section of our theme only accommodates these types of video: https://www.screencast.com/t/oLqC9OoJR For any other video networks, you will have to embed it into the post content as the featured video section will not be able to detect them and display them as a featured video.

Social sharing icons which were normally visible are now hidden since update 60 version 8.6. And if made visible the icons are distorted.
Changes in settings and css that are made in themepanel are not updated.

The problem is not in our theme. It is an issue that affects your case in particular. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate why this happens. Most likely you have files blocked by your host or htaccess file. This is the most common issue when not being able to save theme panel settings.

I do not think that the problem comes from here, since I haven’t changed anything on htaccess file for a while…
The only thing I changed is to update the theme. You have to overcome the issue! I’ve another website using another great theme (Flatsome), and I had the same problem, and with their last updated, the problem was solved. Please take that into account for your next version of Newspaper. That’s important! Thank you.

I’ve already increased the WP Memory Limit to 64MB, but it still doesn’t work, I don’t have any setting validation button on the panel. Regarding php.ini modification, I’ve contacted my host and he said that since my website is on a shared hosting, I’m not allowed to modify the php parameters… So, I have here a real problem, and I think I’m not alone.
So, I think you really have to find a solution compatible with shared hosting for your theme and the next updates. Most of your customers are using shared hosting. It’s not acceptable that we can’t anymore modify settings! I especially wanted to modify ads settings, and I’m loosing a lot of money rightnow.

Sorry but the theme requirements are public for everyone to see. If your host is not capable to handle the minimum theme requirements then you will not be able to use the theme properly. I have version 7 and want to update to 8.5. It is a website with around 100 pages/posts:
1. In the docu you write, if I want to move to tagDiV, I have to create all pages new… not really..?!?
2. Did you guys have a premium support with special condition to update theme and make some other changes (pagespeed, tagDIV, theme update,...)?

1. If you want to move over to the new page builder, then yes, you will have to re-create all your page in the new page builder. You can still use visual composer in the current version of the theme as well , so you do not have to re-create the pages if you do not want to and you can still update the theme.
2. Sorry, but the support does not have a premium feature with special conditions. Unfortunately we cannot offer page speed optimization or theme updates. Sorry.

How do you think if I change it smoothly without losing my large archive? What does the ad zone look like? Is it responsive? can I add ads anywhere I want?

The articles in your site should be safe as they are kept in the database and will not get removed when changing themes. It is highly recommended to create a full back-up of your site though before switching themes. You will have to re-create your pages though as the page builders are not compatible with one another.
