Hello again I have updated the theme, but have new issues. My site is not live yet.

1. I am trying to set a static page as the homepage. When I navigate to Settings > Reading, there is no option for setting the homepage. I have the option to set Blog pages show at most, syndication feeds show the most recent, for each article in a feed show, search engine visibility. That is all. Is this because the site is not live?

2. In addition, the page that I would like to set as the homepage has the slug /homepage/tour. When I set this as the homepage, will it allow me to set this URL as www.domain.com/ (no slug).

3. I have set the site to have a /blog/ permalink for posts. Am I able to set the blog homepage as www.domain.com/blog? Or am I now unable to use this slug in combination with the permalink setup?

1. Have you trashed your pages? Can you please verify that you don’t have some pages in your trash? If you trashed some pages like “Homepages” or other pages with parent page (https://undsgn.d.pr/MCd3Wg) it’s possible you have this issue in WordPress, it seems you had an home selected and now is in the trash.
2. Yes absolutely, when you set a page as homepage this will be your site address.
3. You can have www.yoursite.com/blog if you want. This is not properly theme related, just WordPress.

Another general question, will wp bakery add-ons (specifically row animation addon) work with your theme and theme updates? I know that the builder was customized to work with your theme and I want to make sure that if I purchase this addon and apply row animation effects it will work properly. Alternatively what I am trying to achieve is a row background ken burns like effect (timed zooming), as I am interested in working with your content slides better than with revolution slider) – is this possible with your current available features?

The more I go deeper into building the site, I find that customization is very limited. It is not native for this theme to adjust to a designer’s site design. I find it hard to work both on dark/image bg’s and light image bg’s rows on one page with theme elements. Like tabs for example, if the page skin is set to a certain one then it is nearly impossible to use them on both types of backgrounds without going through so many tweaks and stuff which are not always clear.

The theme is great and its performance has been really looked into but it is not suitable for advanced customization to build a unique design website upon. I wish it was a different and more flexible as I like the elegance of your architecture.

for now, I will switch to a different theme but maybe in the future, I will use uncode again.

2. Why it’s not an option? I mean, is it totally not compatible? Even if installed as Wordrpress plugin version? Only asking because from my experience PhotoSwipe works a milion times better and smoother, and it’s not dependent on jQuery. iLightbox on the other hand is advertised as revolutionary, but I seriously don’t know what’s revolutionary there. It’s quite ok on desktop, rather poorly performs on mobile, when compared to PhotoSwipe. just test it out yourself on mobile: http://photoswipe.com The most important thing is that I can’t zoom in when iLIghtbox is used.

Hi waveman777, a lightbox plugin in a theme like Uncode is not something like install in a simple HTML page or install a WordPress plugin that work on normal posts, the markup is totally different. I don’t say that PhotoSwipe is not a good option but yo cannot have on Uncode.

This is not possible, otherwise it would void the regular Envato policy for support, if we could accept emails each user would send private emails, while many extend their support or because they work for a long time with the same theme or because they create other sites based on same theme. Some screenshots go very well, there is no need to show the URL.

Thanks! We restored the database and now its back to normal But, I guess something did happen when pressing “Save New Layout” without writing anything in that field… Like it replaced the default layout with a empty layout.
