Please see this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/ipyrk5 if not then create it first and then use its shortcode hope you will not find an issue and if there is a form then check that form shortcode and use it your issue will solve.

Hi,

It seems that your server requirement does not meet the latest Theme and Plugins minimum requirement please go to Porto >> System Status and check and make sure that not a single label shows red background if yes then solve it first and update your theme and plugins again by following the steps given below hope you will not find an issue.

Please try to update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:

1. Take the complete backup of your current site.(If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanel wp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything.(If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

Your theme will be updated easily.

But First please make sure your server requirements is meet with the latest Porto WordPress theme requirement if not then please make sure to set first server requirements as below: You need to agree to the following requirements.

Wordpress 4.0 or higher.
PHP 5.6 or higher.
MySQL 5 or higher.
Memory Limit 64M or higher.

RECOMMENDED PHP CONFIGURATION LIMITS

Many issues are all related to low PHP configuration limits. The solution is to increase the PHP limits. You can do this on your own or contact your web host and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum as follows:

max_execution_time 1000
memory_limit 64M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32M

Thanks.

Hi, first of all thanks for an overall very good theme! As Porto did not support a DE-de Language file would you mind providing us one, please.

It would actually be great if you had a wiki/documentation site were the community can share updates of language files – like an open-source language site.

Thanks guys!

Hi,

Please download the latest translations files from below and upload it to wp-content/languages/themes your issue will solve.

The “Seller Info” tab for WC Vendors, is missing from the single product page.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please ask your question/issue regarding any third party plugin which is not included in our Theme package from the Plugin author: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/tabs-on-vendors-page/

We have searched and found that: https://wedevs.com/support/topic/how-to-remove-seller-info/

Please open your Dokan plugin folder/includes/wc-template.php and in this file you have find out this function- function dokan_product_seller_tab( $val ). In this function, you will get the code for seller info tab. You have to remove the comment from those codes to get your needs.

does anyone know how to change the store notice settings in Porto after updating to Woocommerce 3.3.3? My store notice text is still visible, but it can no longer be changes under woocommerce -> settings. Says to go to the appearance -> customize, but this area is not functional in Porto. The theme customize section also doesn’t have anything.

Hi,

We have tested our latest THeme and finds Customize section seems to work perfectly at our end.

1. Please check Porto >> System Status and make sure that there must be not a single label having the red background if yes then solve it first.

2. Please check your browser console that there is no error if yes then solve it first.

3. Please check your site after deactivating your site all third-party plugins hope you will not find an issue.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I followed all those steps, but still not “woocommerce” section under customize. Only widgets. However, this is all while using a child theme, so when I switch to twenty seventeen or Porto (non child), then it is there. I suppose if I need to change anything I’ll just change the theme quickly to access that.

Another issue since updating is with shop thumbnails loading 100×100px, but being scaled to ~160×160px (blurry). I suppose I’ll research that and see if I can figure out a solution on my own.

Hi,

If you are not facing that issue when you switch to Porto Parent Theme then the issue you are facing is because of the Child Theme. If you did any customization in the child Theme then please remove it and check or use a fresh new child Theme hope you will not find an issue.

To change image size: To change this setting now on the front end you have to go to customize>WooCommerce>Product Catalog and you can customize the store display from there.

Please read this doc: https://woocommerce.com/2018/01/whats-new-woocommerce-3-3/

You must need to regenerate the image thumbnails after making the change in size then after that check your site after removing the cache you will not find an issue.

After changing the image size, you should regenerate all the thumbnails in Tools > Regen.Thumbnails on admin sidebar.

And also Could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Thanks for your understand.

Hello, I set the picture size for the catalog to 170×170 (view mode list), but on the store page I have pictures of categories and I use the size 400×400 (2 in a row) – but these pictures are also cropped to size 170×170 and are very blurred. Settings: theme http://prntscr.com/ioqjuh , woo http://prntscr.com/ioqme3 Pictures regenerated after the changes. How to make images in categories displayed the right size?

Thank you

Hi,

Please must regenerate all the images from Tool >> regn: Thumbnails after making the size change from Woocommerce hope you will not find an issue if yes then contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Logind details so we will do it for you.

Thanks.

there seems to be a bug with the option: Skin > Layout > Container Max Width (px) no matter what you put in that box it stays at 960px… on the websites. even tho that box saves the number you enter.

1170 size seems to work but not 1920

saving that option page sometimes gives a php error : (32)Broken pipe: AH01075: Error dispatching request to : (passing brigade to output filters), referer: DOMAIN/wp-admin/themes.php?page=porto_settings

seems to do this only with php v7.x php v5.6.x is fine

Hi, When a client disconnects before loading the page completely, the connection between main Apache process and mod_proxy_fcgi is closed and mod_proxy_fcgi writes to log about not being able to send data to the main process.

 Cause

“FCGI header error” occurs whenever there is a PHP error or warning”.

It mostly caused because of PHP version and because of system minimum requirement because of the Theme so please check Porto >> System Status as well and if there is an issue resolve it to and furthermore you will find here: https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=56110

Thanks.

Regards, you have mentioned that the theme Porto is completely compatible with WOO 3.3 which is not true right now. The WPML for woocommerce is also not working. If I load wpml-translation-management, the site crashes. It is mentioned that was an update today (8.3.2018) but i didn’t get a notification that the update is possible? In the “CHANGELOG” it is mentioned that the last update was on 22. 8. 2018? So is it perhaps that there is an update going on that will be entirely compatible with WOO 3.3.? Thanks for a reply. Otherwise, the theme is excellent.

Hi,

No dear we have not released an update today but we are in updating process and soon you will find an update release and we are working on woocommerce compatibility as well in our new theme update until that please be patience.

Thanks for your understanding.

Ok, thanks.

Can you guide me on how to run a lightbox shortcode link in the Footer Ribbon Text space? I have a working lightbox link that calls a CF7 form on the page, how can I place that same shortcode link in the Footer Ribbon Text?

Hi,

Sorry to say that but this is not possible with the help of Theme Options you can only write/show the text in the footer ribbon.

Thanks.

Hi there, I know my support has expired, but I just updated to Porto v4.2 and now the variable attributes on my product pages are showing “%20” in place of spaces for the attribute titles. For example, Soft Cover is now Soft%20Cover. Is this an error in your theme’s code? It looks to me like something wasn’t escaped properly. If I need support I will buy it, but as this is more a bug report I’m hoping you can recommend a fix until the next theme update. FYI, running WooCommerce v3.3.3 and WP 4.9.4.

Cheers, Zach

Hi,

Sorry for the trouble you are facing but we are working on the new theme update and soon you will find an update without having an issue until that please be patience and Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Woocommerce >> Single Product and change the variation style to dropdown your issue will solve: https://prnt.sc/ifi38d

Thanks.

Thanks, that worked!

Hi! But it doesn’t work in your demo either: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/resume/

Hi,

Sorry to say that but this is not possible with the help of Theme Options because in mobile version you have a toggle menu button and once you click on it then the menu will pop up but the menu is not floating one in mobile it is fixed by default.

Thanks.

I have the same problem that andrea1771 underlined. After last update the right sidebar menu disappered (instead of correct position appears below) . Because it is a bug of the theme let us know how to correct it. I do not want ta lot of money for 6 month support extension when it is your fault not mine.

Hi,

Please make sure that the post/blog page layout set to the right sidebar from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Post: https://prnt.sc/iohynt and also make sure that you have set Blog sidebar widget from Appearance >> Widgets: https://prnt.sc/iohyn2

Thanks.

the widget area looks empty. Nothing apart from Available widget column

Hi,

Then you should add some elements like shown in the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/iohyn2 in the widget hope your issue will solve.
