Hi Qode – is there a way to have the Qode Page options appear on custom post types? I need to be able to change the header from light to dark on some of my pages, but the options do not appear on custom post types.

Such functionality doesn’t exist, and you will have to custom code templates with theme options in order to have them available when you edit custom post type.

I was just about to purchase this theme but in typical fashion with Themeforest themes, I found a blatant bug in no time (actually, within 5 seconds of viewing).
At the very top of your Bridge80 theme is a “Start Now” button. In horizontal viewing on my iPhone, this button becomes hidden and unclickable and unreadable. The only reason I know it says “Start Now” is because it appears properly in vertical viewing.
Not to mention the widely fluctuating negative white space between elements or the fact the “go to top” button takes about 7 seconds to reach the top of the page, or the awfully slow loading time of the main demo page (took 20 seconds on my very fast internet connection).
I’m not trying to knock your theme. Obviously there are many people are just fine with it. I would like to be one of those people. I’m just very frustrated because I’ve now spent dozens of hours simply trying to find a clean, bug free and versatile theme. Yet every time I narrow down an option, I start to find too man red flags (bugs or poor support).
While Bridge is definitely versatile with all of the demos, I’m afraid that if I’m able to find such blatant oversights so quickly, what else was overlooked? it’s apparent that not much time (if an) was invested by Qode into their mobile viewing experience of the demos. And this is with one of your simpler demos. And I’d think that after 4 years, all blatant bugs would have been addressed by now. Again, if I’m able to see these oversights in just 30 seconds, why hasn’t your team?
Just my two cents. I still may purchase because I don’t feel like messing with a bare bones builder tool (want something demo ready), but based on past experiences with Theme Forest, it’s a tough decision to make because I know a lot of time will be required fixing errors and waiting for support to assist with things that should have already be fixed. Anyway… nice theme. Hopefully your other demos are free of blatant bugs and strange implementations. For if I do purchase in the future, it would be great if you could address the mentioned issues. Thank you.
p.s. I promise, I’m a nice guy. Just longing for a quality over quantity theme that has what I’m looking for minus the oversights. It just seems unattainable at this point.
Oh yeah… forgot to mention another visual problem with your Bridge80 theme… on mobile viewing the image gallery left/right arrow buttons take up way too much of the viewing space on my iphone. In other words the buttons are huge and make it difficult to even see the images properly. Again, not sure how so many things get overlooked in a single page. Apparently nobody from your team has viewed this demo on mobile or cared to fix the multiple problems I found in one viewing. Again, simple fixes I could do myself, but that’s not the point. It’s sloppy and shows lack of attention to detail or pride in your product. A good portion of website visits are on mobile these days, so this is not something that should be ignored. I mean not to be harsh. I just don’t understand.

Demo is using Qode slider, and you can off course adjust break point coefficients in order to reduce elements for different devices. Also, theme includes Layer and Revolution slider plugins so you can also use them instead of Qode slider, so this is not a bug just configuration issue.
Back to top speed can be changed if you don’t like it. Demo page is modified version for demo purposes and you can test actual demos which not optimized, but with some basic optimization you can have excellent loading times. Older demos are not being updated with new theme version, but we release updates frequently with bug fixes, improvements and new demos and you can find change log on this page http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/change-log/ . Newer demos are beter optimized for smaller screens because this is now very important but it wasn’t in the beginning although it always can be enhanced by changing font sizes for smaller screens and by changing elements padding, and columns stacking. We suggest you to check our other demos, but be assured that small screens view can be adjusted with WPBakery Page Builder row and column options, and theme options as explained previously.
Arrows can be replaced with custom arrows in Qode slider section of theme options so you can have smaller arrows, and existing ones can be reduced with a bit of css, and as covered earlier you can use Layer or Revolution slider plugins which are much more versatile. Each demo is checked on tablet and mobile device and we don’t think that size of slider buttons or anything mentioned above shows lack of attention or that demos are sloppy, and amount of users which are satisfied with the theme says otherwise. Anyway you have right on your opinion so if our products doesn’t look suitable we hope that you will be able to find the one which will suit your needs.

That page is using product list masonry so it required that WooCommerce plugin is installed, and also it needs to be active before importing demo content in order for products to be imported also so install and activate the plugin and repeat demo import again.

Yes, it is because image is smaller https://www.screencast.com/t/iXa6cX16 . WooCommerce changed way of configuring product images so you need to increase dimensions to container width 855px so set images to be 1000px width. This can be done from WordPress back end > Appearance > WooCommerce. Off course you will have to set image for each product if initial image is smaller.

If you are interested in adding adds to pages, you can do this by adding advertising code within pages by using WPBakery Page Builder java script or html element depending on your code within page content. Also, since theme offers a lot of widget areas you can also add adds code to several widget areas like for example in posts and pages sidebar. In case that you were referring to something else please explain this a bit?

Plugin author changed name of the plugin because he wanted to offer it separately as free / premium version outside of the envato Market. Although authors can include 3rd party plugins outside of the market since this is same author and very similar functionality it is not possible to included that version as long as WPBaker Page Builder exists on the market as separate plugin.

Theme officially support popular WPML plugin which is paid plugin and it is common suggestion for commercial themes since it is feature reach and it can also translate / copy custom meta fields which free plugins cannot without implementation of custom functions. Polylang is popular free plugin and some users are using it with our Bridge theme but you need to check plugin documentation and instructions on how to configure it properly, and you will be able to translate pages and to have language switcher. Note that since plugin sin’t officially supported it may cause conflict with theme page transitions so I suggest your to turn off page transitions from Qode options > General.

Since theme forest download with documentation contain import files for various demos I can suggest you to import some of demo sliders to see how to configure them properly. Theme demos present different theme possibilities and functionality is achieved with same theme, so you can import and theme demo at any time and you can achieve everything presented in theme demos. Shop functionality is achieved with WooCommerce plugin which is free, so even if some demo doesn’t have shop by default you can add it by installing and configuring WooCommerce.
Title area image and height can be changed from theme options, and also you can replace all images inside content without coding knowledge.

That page is configured as shop page, so you need to configure shop page from WooCommerce settings, and then add it to your menu and name it to your liking. Since shop page is default when your run Woo setup wizard check if maybe you have two shop pages and delete one which isn’t assigned to WooCommerce and use that page in your menu.

You can choose custom full width portfolio type in order to create full width portfolio layout by combining different WPBakery Page Builder elements. In case that you want one of predefined portfolio types then sidebar or just some elements can be hidden with some custom css code and if you decide to use our theme our support team can assist you with this.

You can create single portfolio content by using WPBakery Page Builder elements. First, you have to enable it for portfolio post type from plugin settings settings > Role manager as explained here https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/use-wpbakery-page-builder-pages-posts-custom-posts-wordpress/ – set Post Types to custom and tick box near portfolio_page
Now, when building portfolio content with WPBakery elements, you have to choose one of custom portfolio types when you edit portfolio – custom default or custom full widget. These are blank pages and layout inside portfolio page is generated manually with page builder. This approach was available before and it is only option for creating custom layout on single portfolio pages.
Unfortunately, you can use portfolio side are for different purposes for predefined portfolio layouts.

Yes, but default theme isn’t demanding and it don’t have lot of options and plugins with it, and commercial themes because of their complexity, conditionals, and features in combination with demanding plugin requires better hosting plan. Now seems work better, but visual composer have some issue with images. When I select an image it is not associated with the object, like the single image.

Also, you can disable PHP warnings and WP DEBUG https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG since they are not errors and won’t cause any problem.
