Hi, I have purchased your theme last year. I didn’t have time to continue working on it and started again this week, so I hope you can answer this question even tough support has expired. I was wondering if there is any way for horizontal and vertical images on the media carousel to have the same height such as seen here http://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/ on the variable width example. Hi jorgegoss! No unfortunately this is not one of the options, in fact in dozen of different carousel example in our demos you never see this one, sorry. Width value is fixed for all images/thumbs of the carousels.
If you use a trademark ® in a page/product title, and then include the page/product in a query, the query breaks and wont display anything.
How to fix this?

When I tried to build query for Posts Module Index Content to order DESC, and click update on Wordpress. It just keeps loading infinitely for many hours. With or without products give the same result.
Could you please let me know how to fix this asap as this is super urgent.

However as you can see the image links seem to be broken since 2 days ago (there are images for most page headers for example, and the logo)…is this something you have seen before? Can you suggest anything?
the images are all in media, but not linking to the images as per before…we havent made any changes to the files or site outside of wordpress in between when they were working and now.
Hi! We are sorry but unless you have installed something new the only reason is that your host has updated some setting without notifying you (definitely a theme is a set of static files and it doesn’t broke itself). Have you contacted them?

Hi, the adaptive image feature is really great! I started a blog mainly to present images. In the past, I’ve resized the images with JPEGmini (max 1500×1500 px) to reduce the size of the images before uploading. But, I think this is not really needed when adpaptive images are used… And, visitors should be able to view the High-Res, orignal sized images.
At the moment I’ve made some tests with the WP Plugin “Shortpixel” and I like it because the results are quit good. What I want to achieve is, that visitors can view the High-Res image if they want but also relatively fast loading times. But, I’m not sure, if such a plugin (like Shortpixel, Optimus…) works really well with the adpative images which I don’t want to disable.
For “bigger” optimizations like using a CDN, my blog/site has not enough visitors. The original images are between 2-10 MB (Smartphone, Digital Camera). The options, referenced in “Optimise for speed & performance” are set, but I don’t use a caching plugin. Is there more to consider or should this mostly work?
WP is running on a single, dedicated server. No VPS or shred server.

Hi dlutt! Maybe we don’t understand your point but if you use the Adaptive Images you cannot at the same time use the original uploaded images.
Are you searching for some method to speed your page loading? In case I hope this helps. When Uncode “creates” and Adaptive Image, it just tells WordPress that a new image size is needed based on your layout and settings, under the core it just ask WordPress to create another image with the native WordPress functions and methods. WordPress asks your server to create an image (thumbnail), in fact it’s not WP that creates images but the server. What happen is that if you use some specific optimisations tools like JPEGMini, Optimizilla, designed to super reduce images sizes, your server is not able to do so unless you install some specific PHP libraries. Servers are not so powerful in this like Photoshop Save for Web or the above mentioned tools. So wrapping up: Uncode asks WP some new thumbnails (Adaptive Images), WP revert this request to your server that create the new sizes but it’s not able to create super light images as some specific tools. What you can is try to reduce the image quality (native of WP) on the Uncode > Performances > Quality or if you prefer in a more manual way you can download your media library (from FTP), process it an re-upload to your server. There are also some plugins that works for this like EWWW Image Optimizer (you need to verify if they save as your offline methods).

No, i’am working on this site about a year. I frequently updated the theme WP and plugins. I switched to PHP 7.2 one hour ago. It seems that there are less server time outs now.

Hi, I just purchased a license for a client that would like to use the theme on their website, but the development stage will be done entirely on our servers.
The question is… Should we activate/register the theme on our server or should We do it only after moving the site to production? Is there any limitation on any of those choices?

You have recommended using w3 total cache but the most useful features, the Minify beaks the site when activated on CSS and JS. Minify HTML is okay but not the CSS and the jS
Hi! We never recommended this plugin, the only plugin we suggest is WP Rocket. Anyway you can choose to use any cache plugin (daily I see users with various cache plugins) but you need to take care of the settings, for example you need to exclude some files for the JS minification. Hi. I want to create a simple web and I really like the style of Uncode but I have a couple of questions. In order explain myself better, I will attach an explanatory image to the message.
Sorry for the specific question, but I had some bad experiences with other themes in the past that I could have avoided just asking in advance. I just want to do a simple web with the structure I show in the picture. iIt´s basically an image gallery with a categorie filter in the left side (to be able to filter the images by categorie) and all the images would be in other side. Then once you mouse over you get a simple hover message with the name of the image and a button. I need the option to insert a custom html action to that button to be able to trigger the Gumroad plugin. And then I just need a simple contact form in the top side of the website and a seach tab to be able to look for an specific image name. Seems pretty simple to me but I don´t know if I am going to be able to do it with Uncode. Here you have the image so you can understand better what I am aim to do.

I have added a LayerSlider slider to my home page, but the slide transitions are not working as expected.
No matter which slide transition I select for the slides, the first slide always fades to the next slide, while the subsequent slides transition with the transition I selected.
Thoughts on why this is happening and how it can be resolved?
Hi thinkdm2 and sorry for delay! Have you tested the same slider with the native WordPress theme? LayerSlider works just as in iframe, this mean that no codes of Uncode can interfere with the slider functionalities. Please test how the slider act and let us know!
I am sure the issue is with LayerSlider, but since it came with the theme, I am unable to get support from their developers.
Hi thinkdm2! Yep I know, this is a limit, you are free to use the bundled plugins but obviously you don’t have your own license to access their support services. Anyway it seems a bit odd you have this issue, this is a well known plugin and I think other users should have reported (both to use but more specifically to their support). What version of LS are you using? Maybe you have an old version and this is just fixed. Just to be sure, have you tested some native sliders? Or have you tried to re-create this to figure out if something is corrupted in this slider/settings?
When I try and change the order of the portfolio items manually on this page: https://www.talent-works.com/work/ they never move. They did previously move, is there a reason why dragging and dropping them in another order would not work?

I have two questions:
1. Because of the GDPR, I had to self-host all the used Google fonts. Thanks to your description it was not that difficult. Do you have plans, in a future update, to make this process automatically, like you do it with font squirrel?
2. I found out, that Google maps (from your page builder) loads the Roboto from font.google… Is there a method in Uncode or somehow different to prevent that?
