The latest update seems to have locked me out of adding custom CSS to the theme as it requires 3000 max input vars and my host won’t allow it. Can I get this unlocked?

Take care if you are not compliant with Max Input Vars, be sure to have backups and don’t use extra plugins (each plugin consumes more variables), anyway you just need to install the Child theme and insert the CSS here (it’s also faster while you develop): https://support.undsgn.com/hc/articles/213454729
Thanks, i’ve installed and activated the child theme but it’s still not letting me put css in because of the maxvars. Is it not possible to remove the restriction, i’ve been using the theme for some time now but i’ve now lost all css styling and need to get it working again.

Hi, you should insert the CSS inside the style.css of the Child Theme (this is usually the best practice to cistomize a theme), not that with the Child Theme you can use the.CSS option if your not compliant. I hope make sense and help!
Hey there. I’ve been fighting for an hour or so to get the demo font SF-Pro-Display installed and working. I followed the directions on your support page https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003948785-Uncode-Demo-text-and-basic-headers-font . I installed the font package, made the CSS edits in the Child theme, but still the font isn’t working. Am I suppose to enter it as a Manual Entry in Theme Options>Typography? Should it automatically show up via the drop down? Not sure here.

Hello, I’m trying to set up a custom CDN with this tutorial I have used in the past (https://www.itsupportguides.com/knowledge-base/wordpress/wordpress-how-to-serve-static-content-from-a-cookieless-domain//) and for some reason when I do it on uncode it doesn’t work.
When I run the SQL command it returns “0 rows affects”
This is the command: UPDATE wp_posts SET post_content = REPLACE(post_content, ‘http://www.domainname.com/wp-content/uploads/','http://static.domainname.com/uploads/')

Hello, thanks for the reply! I was actually able to get somewhat far… If I create my own CDN and forward uploads to it using wp-config, I was able to make the site load in under 2.5 seconds when it was around 6 seconds before.
However, the images are now blurry when putting this line in wp-config define(“uploads”, “myurl.com”);

Without a check to your site it’s not possible debug the problem you are experiencing, anyway consider that if you use the Adaptive Image in the uncode-ajax.php you have the adaptive image versions loading, so this is the time of your images to be loaded (and 2 seconds it’s pretty good). I am thinking of using this for a Japanese client, does the Japanese translation for wp bakery work? and is it possible for me to translate the theme options menu?
Hi! Do you refer to have the site in Japanese only or in 2 languages? Moreover do you refer to the admin or frontend of the site? Anyway there are not Japanese translations inside the package but you can create your translations with WPML or Loco Translate (just consider that if you refer to the admin area there are lot of texts (options) to translate).
The site will be Japanese only for now, I am the only one on staff who speaks english so the translations would be for the theme/page options so that the other staff can edit the site as well.
I did some testing using loco translator on a different site using your theme and it seems to work well, only about 1600 lines of text hehe.

Hello there and congratulations for the theme!
I’m working on a copy of Uncode already purchased by a client of mine and I have an important question: own hosted mp4 video backgrounds on my client’s site don’t work anymore. They simply don’t show and play. I tried to edit helpers.php file adding “muted” as your fix suggested but nothing’s changed.
PS1: If I load the video from its url it works. PS2: I’ve cleared my browser’s cache. PS3: Video backgrounds don’t work on Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
Any help?

Videos not working on Chrome is a note issue caused by the Chrome last update changes in privacy rules but this is fixed in 1.8.2.
