Are all those plugins you mention still included into your package as modern events calendar seems to have been banned from Themeforest at all as also all their other themes by webnus are completely missing. We have customers already using x and are more than worried about that development as it would mean they would need to redo all their sites – especially those event sections which tales lots of space at most churches.
They like that mordern events calendar a lot – well we recommended them that and X before but now we need a very clear answer as without modern Events Calendar X woudl be useless for at least our customers as all other Calendar plugins don’t have the functionaility for that price available.

Thanks that is good news but also some risky news I suggest that you take over the plugin! as if they would continue developing it then the risk would probably be that you would get also banned because you are using their plugin and the problem of webnus (modern events calendar) and the developers of publisher (also banned) seem to be that they have a developer living or being registered in a restricted country. So the question is how will you actually proceed with the modern events calendar if you don’t take the complete plugin dev over – thanks to GNU GPL actual possible of course rename – and then the problem with that Developer would be solved – while I am sure that this developer isn’t a problem at all him – as a person but politics are 
Can you guarantee that we will receive further updates of modern events calendar or its “derivate” lets call it like that. Then we – or our customer would get the theme today. Modern Events Calendar has simply no alternative – and that is because his all included features and the low price in comparison to the morden calendar or events on which are a money making machine I guess.
And Events Plus Calendar has very low reviews which is a knock out even it looks like it is pretty similar or same like modern events calendar.
Sorry when I talk about that calendar and not about your theme as our problem here is that we liked to get that calendar up and running as other customers are already happy with it.
What Version is the newest of Modern Events Calender packed in X-Theme – is the latest 2.8.0? when the customer buys the theme today or tomorrow? – he just asked me and signalled that mec would be his choice rather the ecp

We are in communication with them and the plugin continues to work with X in its current state (version) so it is continuing to be supported. Hi Thanks – that is all we need to know. Then be careful – not that you get blocked and kicked out from Envato too. Better solve that problem with them as fast as possible. It is such a pity that they are no more here. Great would be if also future updates of MEC would be still available as having a calendar like MEC is pretty essential especially for church and NGO organizations with lower budgets. It is really a very strange situation as this kick out now happened to multiple Envato Authors (if they are not all the same). God bless you. Keep up your good work.

1 month ago I asked when the modern events calendar in its current version will be available in Themeco X Theme: Until now nothing has happened, nor do we see any progress.

All that is now suddenly included in a costly pro version from a complete different site as mentioned already. We understand that one of their developers was or is located in Iran and therefore they have banned Webnus from ThemeForest but actually our customers who like to continue using the X-Theme with the modern events calendar don’t care much about those politics (which are also nonsense to be honest and Webnus for sure wasn’t the problem in that case). When will be an updated full version be available in X-Theme of the Modern Events Calendar – if at all! We also would understand that you might switch to use another calendar to be not banned like Webnus from ThemeForest as probably the same requirements which caused the banning of Webnus also apply to anybody who is using one of their plugins in their sites – otherwise the whole banning would completely be based on pur personal preferences between Webnus and ThemeForest.
I hope you can name us an ETA as we really can’t hold some projects anymore and the people request the integration of the modern events calendar and they don’t care if there has been a developer involved who lives in Iran as long as the developer produces a high quality of the code which was always the case with Modern Events Calendar.

That is the latest Version and as we are daily on Envato also with other projects we also check X-Theme regular. We don’t have auto update enabled as it violates the GDPR and we don’t want to get into any conflict with German authorities and lawyers which are very crazy right now fining already some people. Before we have to integrate sites we even have to check if there are any links back which have not been announced before by the developers i.e. images which download from external resources of links in menus which link in the demos to external resources to avoid that our customers are going crazy too against us. IP Addresses are considered private and therefore you would need to get first all the consents from all users or even possible users! We just had to eliminate over 250 links to an external server in one of the Envato Themes because of that and are not even sure if we got all as some links are really pretty hidden and even some encrypted as it seems sometimes in plugins. It is not always the Theme alone it is often also the plugins they came bundled with.
Please update the package on Envato as it says Download “All files and documentation”. We download all other Envato Packages the same way since years and this works just perfect. Only this way we can ensure that also in future we deliver 100% GDPR compliant works to our customers.

We only update packages whenever there is a theme release so the only way to receive the latest version is via automatic updates. Alternatively you can open a support ticket in apex and we can provide you with a copy.
woa that you really should say before as it is nowhere written that you don’t update like all other developers update here on ThemeForest via regular updates on ThemeForest! Especially as we have written about that issue already weeks ago! It’s a clear knock out factor for future projects if customers won’t see that it gets updated regularly on ThemeForest.
The vast majority of our customers are on auto updates, and this insures we get updates out that are stable and tested. There is no good reason not to be on auto updates as you still have to approve the update on your end, so I’d recommend doing that to make the process smoother for you.

As said already above – the auto-update function violates the GDPR and we won’t risk anything according to that. So the only way would be to have a dummy site where we could update those plugins for that purpose but there is a very clear NIET – NO – from the customers which are often related to government and NGO organizations and it is not appropriate to force customers to use the auto-update functionality as you we won’t get the consent from our customers to do so and therefore Themeco is risking the security of our customers when not providing regular updates so that we can download them from ThemeForest. It is, by the way, the most secure way to download as only here we can make sure that no backlinks are again and again placed in site updates and plugin updates.
For us it looks more like a site business branch beside the approved Envato side to make additional business – We already purchased the Pro update that way as without your update systematic we would not even have known about Pro.
Sorry but this is not fair play to customers who trust Envato. You are actually the only theme developer until now with such an extraordinary and customer unfriendly update policy. We will recommend the customer to use Oxygen or DIVI instead. As especially with DIVI he can see every week a valuable update and they are also compliant to Gutenberg and try to integrate with Gutenberg, while we read already that Gutenberg won’t play a major role for Pro and you only make it work in the upcoming WP version but no integration of Gutenberg features is planned, while all other major Page Builders are actively working on integration with Gutenberg.
The other major problem is that we can’t even go public with the site before it has been approved by the organization and we can’t do that approval process every day in case another update just gets released via Automatic Update. We haven’t written the GDPR laws but simply have to comply with them and any link to another site than our servers has to get first the approval of the customers and Envato is not on that list and any staging or other download sites i.e. the one from Themeco will never get an approval as they can’t even verify that they are 100% GDPR compliant!
So please provide the regular way of downloading regular updates! Here we have to log in to ThemeForest, so you actually also know who is downloading your site. Besides that, we keep all the packages which we have downloaded for reference (that is also a must) – just in case some problems occur later and the customer complaints.
The way is not at all smoother as the process is as follows.
1. Downloading the plugin from Envato. 2. Complete check concerning security issues in the code. 3. Check for any back tracking and links to other sides than to our server, also the ThemeForest update functionality to make sure that No code or information gets send to another side without the previous consent of the customers and website visitors. 4. Test of the Themes and plugins on our development site, then move to the staging site and if approved from the customer it goes to the live site.
Your way would mean that you update the site without the previous consent of the customer That you send requests forth and back and probably even data forth and back without the approval of the customers. This is violating the GDPR and can’t, therefore, be seen as a more smoother process, especially not with a fine of 20 MIO Euro in the back.

The only exception is the update functionality, which is allowed to transmit only the information required to make the update mechanism work.”
“Themes must be compatible with the Envato Market plugin so that the installation and update features work if the customer chooses to install it.”
As you can read using the autoupdate functionality is NOT a must at Envato but much more choice for the customers. “if the customer chooses to install it.” – It is never installed in any of our sites because of GDPR concerns.
“Themes may include an update mechanism.” Again it is very clear that as long as we are a customer on Evanto we also are entitled to receive a download of all updates. “May” is not a “must” and states clearly that beside that another option has to be given to receive regular updates from Envato.
“Themes must not advertise or upsell premium services such as customisation within the WP Admin area. Ads from third-party libraries included in the theme must not be displayed to users.”
This also states very clearly that any kind of advertising or trials of additional sales won’t comply with the Envato Policy. As said we have already now the Pro Plugin – after we bought Themeco we received that upsale from your side – yes it wasn’t in admin area as we not even had that admin area accessible at that time but it was right the way in a direct link from the Envato marketplace.
As explained, updates are made to manual updates anytime we do a theme update so if you don’t want to setup auto updates, you can wait until our next theme update to get the latest versions of the supported plugins.

So when will be the next Theme Update as this was the original question! According to what you said over ne month ago that already should have happened.
We don’t schedule future releases, they are simply made available when the cycle is complete, and they are ready to go. You can follow our Changelog for release dates and what was included. Every time an update is made, the latest tested and supported versions of included Extensions are included so that would have been around 7/24.

Hi, We had made our website using the X Theme. I have really enjoyed using the X Theme for the past 3 years. Its an amazing product. Because, it is easy to setup, user friendly updates from time to time and very informative update notes too.
But, now all of a sudden in the mobiles 1. Drop down menus is not responding. 2. While making a post, i am not able to change font colours, change font type and underline fonts. Please, let me know.

I’ve been using X Theme for some time now, and I have to say that the latest update seems to have made it harder to use. Took me ages to figure out why I couldn’t make a section background an image – apparently you now have to find advanced settings and switch that on. Not exactly advanced, is it?
My latest in a long line of issues seems to be that the X tab on the Wordpress back end is all over the shot. I thought it might be a plugin clash, but I’ve disabled everything save from Slider Revolution and Cornerstone and it is still unusable. It worked perfectly fine before.

You can easily set an image as the section background (I don’t believe you have to fiddle with anything related to advanced settings as those settings are earmarked for V2 Elements). A member of the team would be happy to help if you’re running into any trouble there.
With respect to performance, the backend of X is continually improving so if something is all of the sudden taking a while to respond it would be indicative of something else going on as we’ve not seen anything like that across the board. Quite the contrary actually as we’ve been able to find several big wins with regards to performance recently (more info on our Changelog). Well, I only found the image upload section, after searching through pages of the forums. It was advice from one of your helpers to another person who had the same problem.
It’s not taking a while to respond, I’m afraid, it simply isn’t working and it looks a mess.

Do you offer bulk licenses? How do you handle licenses for multisite? Is it a single license for multiple domains or is it for individual domains? I’d like to learn more about this if you have any agency packages.

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry no, we don’t have bulk licensing options. X (along with all ThemeForest themes) is sold under the ThemeForest regular license. You need one license for each site, including when you’re using a multisite network.

a few questions: 1. Can we reassign the different elements of a page? 2. Can we make it full width? 3. Can the header be a sticky header? do you ave any options for that?
1. X includes the Cornerstone page builder which you can use to create your own pages with a drag and drop interface. 2. Yes, you can make it full width. 3. Yes, there are options to set the header as what we call “Fixed Top” where it will stay on the screen as you scroll.
I have just upgraded to pro and where is the documentation on header creation because what you have provided is a slap in the face- you have a billion options and zipidoodaa documentation

When you’re logged into your Themeco account you can change the site url from your licenses page. You can also setup a dedicated development URL for your site in case you need to have another environment while the site is being built.
