Well, then it is not a setting issue but a change at your end that require another setting. I have used the same settings for 2 years and never had any menu issues. In fact i have been able to move any submenu around (drag and drop) without changing the supmenu occupacy which always has been set to 1 for all submenus, and you can see the perfect menu here, https://www.arctic-fritid.no – still at v4.4.5
I have opened a thicket and look forward to get a menu in my staging site looking like the menu i have in my live site using v4.4.5.
It seems to me that working with mega menu is no longer as easy as before.

When you update the Theme via Envato Market Plugin you will lose all the Customization that you did in the Theme that is why we always recommended updating the Theme Manually via CPanel and must take the complete backup of your site/theme before doing an update of the Theme.

Can you please try once deactivating the Theme from Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate and then after removing the browser cache again activate the Theme with the same Purchase code and then try to Install/Activate/Update the plugins hope you will not find an issue if yes then contact us through our support system with your site Admin Login details so we will do it for you.
The issue mostly occurs when the server Installation Engine is old and I think your server Installation Engine is old that is why you are facing the same issue.

You are using an old version of the Theme which is 4.1.4 and the latest version of Plugins which are not compatible with each other so please update your Theme to the latest version 4.5.0 and also the Plugins as well hope you will not find an issue.
Please take the complete backup of your Site/Theme current version and then update the Theme by following the steps given below:
Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:
1. Take the complete backup of your current site.(If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanelwp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything.(If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.
Your theme will be updated easily.

Could you perhaps provide me with a bit more details on this? What version of PHP your site is using ?? If it is PHP 7.0 + then please check your site after making PHP Version 5.6 hope you will not find an issue if yes then we have to debug your site and for that you have to contact us through our support system with your site Login details.
Please check your code… Both these are obvious issues and you will see it immediately when looking at the code. As an example php notice #1 the URL is defined if using porto version below XXX but it is displayed for any porto version, which makes it an undefined variable. So just move the bracket or set the URL as false before the code.
I have already solved it in my site.. Just want you to solve it in future releases.
Is there a fix for the mega menu issue? Installed latest theme update but like others are reporting our mega menu is ignoring the column settings.

Actually, we have deleted the premium plugins from the theme package that is why the size of the theme is less then before. Now the plugins will install from our internal server and we have already changed the path of the plugins installation in the theme files.

really nothing works decent anymore, plugins that do not work automatic update also gives errors.
why roll out an update when nothing works?
and do not agree that I should renew my support period now expired because these updates really do not make sense the column settings does not work so menu goes outside dropdown/popup. I just did the update in my site and i get the same issue. All menu settings works except from the columns when using wide mega menu. Then i could not update WP Bakery, got the following error: “Plugin not activated. A higher version of WPBakery Visual Composer is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.”
Downloaded theme again and again but all have the same issues.

Please download and update your Theme again, We have fixed the Issue of WP Bakery and Slider Revolution Plugin Installation in our latest new Theme version 4.5.0, Now you can easily Install and Activate those and all Plugins from Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Install Plugins.
But remember that you are able to Install and Activate the Plugins after activating the Theme License code.
And for your other issue Can you please share the Live URL of your site where the issues occur so we will able to check it.
