Hi, does this theme have mega menu capability? For e.g. upon mouse over the menu items, it will shop mega menu with several columns with main categories that is not clickable and below the main categories with clickable sub categories?

Yes, this is possible as our theme mega menu also supports a page menu option. you can create a custom menu implementation on a page using the tagdiv composer and then show that page as a menu item under the mega menu dropdown like mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/

Ah ok. So it’s basically loading a page into the menu. I was thinking to do it using menu function as shown in this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/tTGJk0v From the screenshot, the left side is using enhanced Wordpress menu. The right side is the front end mega menu. It will be easier to setup this way.

No worries. Do you have an example of how page menu looks like? I just want to be sure your theme has the menu I’m looking for. Also, your Ajax login pop up is cool. Does it allow registration as well? I clicked on gadgets demo, it only allows login. Thanks!

There is no page menu example unfortunately but basically anything you can add to a page can be shown on the menu. As for the login widget, it does allow registration as well.

WP Super Cache- caching plugin Contact form 7- used to make contact forms bbPress- forum plugin BuddyPress- social network plugin Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site WooCommerce- eCommerce solution WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars WPML – multilingual plugin
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

I’m checking with MemberPress as well and they are not sure whether it will work or not. Is there anything changed extensively using tagDiv builder for the posts / comments area? If none, I believe it should work.

Sorry but the hamburger menu in our theme can only be used on he mobile version. there are no options to make the desktop version use the mobile menu.

Hi! I found your video on how to create a layout in 3 minutes but I’m finding it’s taking me longer b/c it appears the layout isn’t working. I’ve chosen a layout of 3/4 – 1/4 but as you’ll see from this image, the 1/4 column is thrown below the 3/4 column. What can I do to correct this? Thank you.

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme. If the issue is still there, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate why this happens.

i dont see a file for a Child Theme in my plugin package after download. Is there a problem?

When downloading the theme from envato there are download options you can choose before downloading the theme. Make sure you select the full theme package, not just the installable zip option.Then you will find the child theme files under the code folder in the full theme package.

I am preparing to create a website that will be based on you tube videos. After that I am going to create an android app based on rest api. Before I make a purchase I need to know if Your theme supports embedded you tube links as content in rest api. I am asking since I had previous really bad experience with this.

Unfortunately I cannot say for sure as the rest api is a custom implementation and you will need to know what you are doing using it. The theme is compatible with the rest api. If you embed YouTube links using the standard oembed functionality of Wordpress, then they should work in the rest api as well.

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Unfortunately our theme does not have an infinite scrolling for posts functionality. As for the icons, they can be changed with a bit of css using the font awesome repository.

I’m using template 8 for a category and wondering how I can change the image at the top of the page under that category title. I have found where I can change the height of the image, but not how to insert an image.

When I tried that earlier, it put the image as a background in the entire browser window of my boxed layout category page, not in the top area of the category (banner). But I’ll try it again tomorrow in case I was doing something wrong. And I thank you so much for your speedy replies.

Yes, that is the implementation of the category. it will not place an image just in that particular section. Here is the template presented on our demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/template-style-8/ As you can see, the same applies. It is not an image just in the space above the content, but rather an entire background. If you need a custom category design, you camn use the new cloud library plugin and import more templates and edit them using the tagdiv composer. This way you will get the result you are looking for.

I’m sorry that I misunderstood Template 8. I thought it would only place the image in the area of the content box, not as an entire window background, so my bad for not understanding that when I originally saw the template. I apologize for your time on this! And thank you for explaining it.
I finally got the hang of the Template 8 category template and I love it! However, I designed it on a laptop, so the images I was using (1920×1080) worked beautifully there. But when viewing a category page on a bigger screen than, say, 15”, it really stretches the image so I don’t get to see it fit in the content area as well as it did. How can I fix it? Tile makes the picture duplicate. Default and stretch make it really stretch on bigger screens. Any fix for this? Again, I LOVE your theme! So happy I found it.

Using Godaddy hosting I am running into issues. Tag Div Composer is not working and when clicked I am getting “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” on Chrome. Is there certain PHP settings needed for godaddy hosting?
