How do you hide or show things on mobile? Something similar to Bootstrap?

I’m specifically speaking about hiding elements on mobile. I don’t see any way to do that in any of the documentation. For instance if I have [one_half] element that I don’t want to show on mobile but want to show it on all other viewports. In Bootstrap it’s hidden-xs class. On Flex I believe it’s something like sm:hidden. Do you have anything like that so I can hide an element on mobile (or show an element only on mobile)?

If you have a page with that type of documentation please send me the URL. I’ve looked all over and can’t find anything.

Hi cbr600det:

We go back to our first comment as our initial understanding that you were inquiring into displaying content by viewport was correct. Striking Multiflex does not have viewport specific settings for its content display abilities. Its code framework does not accommodate this function.

Viewport control is nice ability and we do offer to the Striking owners a paid upgrade elsewhere where viewport control is an integral aspect of the theme core although it is not a bootstrap based theme. Our observation with sites that use that theme is that in real world use few actually employ it although we are suspecting you are a web professional and perhaps more likely to understand the benefits and have the skill set necessary to employ viewport control effectively.

So to answer your question Striking MultiFlex does not have viewport control for content.

Hi, do you have a custom code for removing the thin dark line at the Scroll To Top square? I can only adjust the color inside the square.

Hello Nicole Vandenberg

We ask that you please create a thread on our support forum with your request and also attach a screenshot to your support thread as we are not clear on your request. Do you perhaps mean the border of the Scroll to Top square?

Yes I mean the border of the scroll to top square :)

I bought this new responsive Striking multiflex theme but the PSDs in the theme resource are all from the older version of the theme that was non-responsive. Can you share the new theme PSDs. The PSD’s I have received with the theme are from 2010. Request you to share the current version of the PSD as soon as possible.

Hi greyboxt:

These are the only psd we have. All the new template design in Striking MultiFlex was done code side – we did not create new psd page templates and then convert them into php templates. We just built them pure code.

If you can post on the support forum what you need and why we might be able to assist you. We are a little flummoxed on what might be in a psd that would be of importance in a website in this day and age but if we know where you are headed with your request we will see if its something we can oblige.

But please post on the support forum not here. We do not provide theme support via the ThemeForest comments other then to initiate a reply and send the theme owner to the support forum for any further assistance.

contactform shortcode do not have an option to add a checkbox for RGPD. Do you plan an update soon ?

Hi

We have an update in submission with Envato which includes some minor additions for EU domiciled sites and their EU stipulated privacy matters. How long it will take to be approved we cannot say but when it is you will receive an email notice from Envato.

Its part of Ver 1.2.9.2 which is now available via the theme update function although we don’t read the EU regs as requiring this. But we thought it a good idea and have added it with the benefit that one can also customize the text for the disclosure as well.

OK, I’ve tested it but the checkbox should be mandatory. If I do not check the checkbox, the message should ne be sent. Regards

Is it possible to anchor-tag link to a specific tab in the Striking Tabs?

Hello

We request you log into our support forum and create a new thread with your request and a support team member will assist you. Indicate whether it is you wish a certain tab to display as the open tab, etc You should also be able to anchor tag to a specific tab and there may even be a forum thread on that already – the forum has suggestions as to how to search if such a thread exists.

Hello,

the description on this product says;

“HAVE LATEST REV SLIDER V5 SERIES INTEGRATED INTO OUR THEME!”

I don’t see the Rev slider in the plugins. kindly advice how to setup. Thanks.

Hello,

I have gone through the documentation and tried different things but still no revolution slider. Please I need a response as revolution slider is the main reason for my purchase.

Thanks.

Hi bidon88

When you installed Striking MultiFlex you should have seen a message after installing to then install the Revolution Slider. The Revolution Slider has been a function in our theme since 2014 when Striking MultiFlex launched.

If you did not see this message – its rare but on some hosts the message does not show, then go to the wp dashboard. Then go down to Appearances and hover over it. One of the options will be “Install Plugins”. Click on that. You will then be brought to a wordpress panel which will give you the option to install the Revolution Slider. After installing then you should see a prompt to go back to that wordpress panel, as you still have to activate it.

This is all default wordpress behaviors and options.

Please try that and let us know the outcome. We also ask that for any future questions you utilize the Support Forum. It is monitored much more frequently, as we note here in the support tab of this theme item.

Hello
I will need to make a presentation website for an international technology company (can you suggest me a template!?). Needs
a) a retractable menu for mobile
b) 2 or 3 column grid system
c) polylang multilanguage plugin compatibility
Thank you for your help

Hi HDCms

Thank you for your questions.

We are not sure what you mean by a retractable menu. Nor by 2 or 3 column grid system as we like most premium themes have various column shortcodes (up to 6 columnsin our theme). Perhaps our demo page on columns or content choreography contains the answers you are seeking in relation to columns:

http://kaptinlin.com/themes/strikingr/shortcodes/columns/ http://kaptinlin.com/themes/strikingr/content-choreography-responsive-freedom/

We have historically been polylang compatible but the plugin is so rarely used these days we do not have much 3rd party feedback. We have a polylang testbed and all appears to be fine in it.

Hope this helps answer your questions.

Hi!

I am helping a client update her website. In the admin panel it says she is using version 1.2.2 of the theme and that it is the latest version but I see that the latest version is actually 1.2.9. She does have a license code entered so I’m curious why it would say it’s up to date? Website is here: https://teribeemer.com

Thank you!

Hi Jennifer

She is 3 years out of date and so far behind that she cannot use the internal update function to update as it is to many builds back. So as per the posts on our support forum about updating the only way to update this website is by ftp doing a file overwrite. We have instructions in the current release thread at the support forum on updating by ftp but I am assuming you are a web designer and thus need no such instruction.

In respect of the lack of notice – we posted on our support forum that we broke our api which pushes messages and updates to users, last week while undertaking some work. We are working on repairing it now.

Thank you James!

I can proceed manually.

I hadn’t realized I could get into the forum with just the license code so I posted here instead but I just gave it a try and I’m in. I’ll review the info there while I wait for Teri to get her Envato login to me so I can download the new version.

Thanks again for the swift response!

Your welcome Jennifer.

Heads up that we are releasing an update in the next day or so. Mostly feature tweaks so you may wish to check our support forum every now and then for the latest news.

How long does it normally take for Theme Forest to approve a new release? Been waiting for the update and saw you updated the page stating on the 13th that it was released but still am not able to download the most recent release almost a week later.

I should have looked at some of those things closer. Thank you so much, looking forward to the update.

Hi centMarket:

Since our prior comment to you we have posted some additional info on the forum. Woo updated to Ver 3.3.2 a few hours ago and made major changes to their image code again. And like the cancelled Ver 3.3 (which they had to withdraw from the codex due to its issues) there is some very perplexing matters in this update, notwithstanding all of its bug fixes.(over 50).

We will spend a day or so digesting the woo changes. It may be necessary to file more bug reports or at least have discussion with them as they appear to have moved some image size code to a java script from a php pluggable function, which affects template overrides of course since we cannot plug our custom css and php into a js. Thus template overrides are impaired.

HI

We released version 1.2.9 with further updates which has also been approved by ThemeForest and available from your account.

We strongly encourage all uses to review the changelog at our support forum – which is also in the theme download package.

The build includes many changes to keep concurrent with Woo’s latest release (which did a 180 from the build a week previous to that) plus we added some new blog features, and misc tweaks.

Striking is a wonderful MultiFlex & Ecommerce Responsive WP Theme. Well done guys

Hi MelaConnect

Thank you for saying such! For over 7 yrs now we update, update, update, but updating gets developers nothing with ThemeForest. So gradually we fall out of sight in monthly sales, But our theme works, is bug free and latest php compliant, and works with almost all plugins, including a guarantee of compatibility with a large group of popular ones.

How long do I need your theme next update? It does is January now, Your update is ready?

Hello Miaojun

Its actually been ready for some time. We have been holding off on the formal update release due to matters not related to the theme but to our other activities as we wish the next Striking MultiFlex update to coincide with the public release of some other activities of our companies.

However, any licensed user can contact us via our support forum and request the update immediately should they be in need of it for some reason (ex they wish to update their rev slider as a new Rev Slider build is part of the update).

We do not see a purchase badge beside your name for our theme? If you are interested in Striking MultiFlex and want to be assured you will get access to the latest version upon purchase, please be assured this will be the case. You can contact us via the support forum as noted above and request it upon being a valid license holder.

I just updated the theme to the newest version, and noticed that the page didn’t display below the header. It stopped displaying right where it said in the code <section class=”mm-slider”>. I re-uploaded the original theme files, but do you have any ideas on what the problem might be?

Hi Jump Dog

The code you are referencing is not native to Striking MultiFlex and we are guessing that you are using a plugin to insert a section with a slider in it, and it is failing. We cannot tell you why, but did you also update wp at the same time? The issue might be a compatibility issue with WP and the plugin, or it could be a theme /plugin conflict.

There is a myriad of other possibilities as well (a caching plugin for example with js combine and minimize).

We suggest you post at our support forum, along with a url in the thread – link is below. We do not provide theme support by way of the comment section here at Themeforest.

hi there!

quick pre-purchase question:

i would like to have an audio player that would play music persistently across page navigation. so even if i go to another page music still plays. is it possible to do with your theme ?

Hi kaskone

Good question! We have an audio shortcode, which can be set to autoplay, and put in the header or footer. But when one goes from one page to another the track would restart.

An audio player that played continuously (as you said persistently) without breaking on a page load would have to sit outside the frame of the content and page transitions.

Some other possible ways of having such a player do occur to me (coding it so that the player ignored events like webpage transitions) and I am certain someone must have created such a player. But I have never seen one for a wordpress theme although I have not had any cause to look.

Thank you for your question and interest in our theme.

I have the older version of Striking (v. 5.3.7.4). Would I need to buy a new license to update to the multiflex version? Also, if I do update to multiflex, will my portfolios, sliders, appearance be preserved?

Hi James

1) No. You do not need a new license. You likely have seen the messages in your dash advising the old Striking Portfolio theme has reached end of life for support. All you needed to do was click on the links to the support forum where in fact all your questions you are asking here are answered.

2) Everything is explained in the original Striking MultiFlex release thread now dating back to Feb 2014:

Upgrading to Striking MultiFlex instructions

If you feel for some reason that you are uncomfortable attempting the upgrade yourself, you can message us for a quote on implementing the update for you. Not every customer feels “safe” or comfortable and we have upgraded hundreds of customers. The outcome is guaranteed.
