Hi Guys, you helped me every time I had a question and I am contacting you once again I am using custome fonts which are imported directly on my webserver. I want to improve the pagespeed and getting from Google Measure app the advice “Ensure text remains visible during webfont load”. I did import two fonts from the Options on Font Stacks and then uncodefonts.css appeared with those two Font folders. I don’t know where else the @font-face is declared …

Ok but you cannot optimise something that is not part of the page source of the page, only what is part of the page source is imported. Maybe your cache plugin change the name in the source.

I deleted cache… but it was visible before that and nothing have font-display: swap; doesn’t affect anything

Hi guys.. Can anyone tell me how to replicate this page? With the actual photos being categories. I can get it categorised with the portfolios, but i want to have all my photos on one page, and have the categories on the top, so when i click on “Fitness” it throws up the fitness photos

Hi, does this happen to all images or new uploaded images? Since if this happen to new images can be only a server permission problem with new folders. If this happen to all images of the site (also old) please share your site so we can check, really not easy to help without a check.
Looks like it was a plugin issue when upgrading to wordpress 5.0 and nothing to do with uncode, I thought I’d had them all disabled before posting but I missed one. Have a great day.

Second question, I was trying to implement animated logo but for some reason it won’t work neither gif, or SVG file. I have checked ‘animated’ checkbox in media gallery but with no luck. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, I am having an issue with the site after making the update. The images are not linking up. I can see the images in Media Folder but it when I try to link it to the page I get that broken image icon. Could you pls advise?

Hi! It seems really odd this is caused by the update otherwise here you should see literally thousands of similar reports. Anyway does this happen to all images of your site or only new images you upload now? In case this can be related to server permission on the new folders. Thanks for the response, The “image link breaks” are only happening to newly uploaded images. It seems to be happening randomly so I cannot replicate the fault. But it definitely not working with Smart Slider plugin. The pages effected are in drafts as I cannot publish publicly yet. (http://www.luxmoore.com.au)

What I was trying to convey is that when adding new images they look blurry, and the old ones look crisper. To display this issue I have re-labelled the banners:
1. Banners NEW IMAGE 1 & NEW IMAGE 2” have newly uploaded images with the width of 2000px and are computer renders.
2. OLD IMAGE is the banner with the old image

Hi, this is pretty normal, you have a very big monitor and for example the thumbnail is 1500×1000px (check the code). Unless you don’t want to see uncrisp images this is the correct size that must be applied. At least you can try to optimize images with a tool like this: https://imagecompressor.com/

I know that this is ‘normal’, and I’ve already compressed images. The point I am making is it is also standard and good practice to only load thumbnails in sizes that are necessary. For example:
Desktop archives would get medium thumbnails, minimum width of 800px to keep good image quality (but smaller than the 1000px).
Mobile gets even smaller thumbnails again.
This results in a much smaller page = less bandwidth and data requirements for the user and speeds up page load.
Yes but you are missing that this is the necessary since in this layout, an image of 800px it’s good only for a display size of 400px with retina displays (that have double the pixels density) that it’s about 1/3 width of your image.
Yes I get that. That still doesn’t answer my question though. And lets be honest, photographs at normal resolution, even on a retina display, in a post block archive will look absolutely fine. Vector graphics is an entirely different matter. As I said, very image heavy site and want to eek out as much on mobile as possible and loading 25 high res images is too heavy when we could be loading thumbnails in their place.
Please note that if in your monitor the display image is for example 1200px it’s not possible you have an image of 1200px and in another display of 1100px the image is 1100px or you should have thousand of image version on your server based on the multitude of available screens sizes. This to explain that anyway you have to expect an approximation in a given set of of values. Moreover for what is possible to see you are not using the Adaptive Image system so it’s not supposed you have different image than the uploaded one, maybe you should activate this setting.

It seems that you have not properly imported the fonts in the Font Stacks (https://undsgn.d.pr/bTp0wj) or not properly assigned the font (https://undsgn.d.pr/JUcTME), you see the font only on desktop cause you have installed on your mac/pc but obviously if not properly imported cannot be visible on mobile too.
If I have assigned the font, what I did not do was import the font from Font Stacks because I would appear in Typography. I can not find how to import the font from Font Stacks so that it is available. I only see typography houses.

In Font Stack your should see for example all the Google Fonts, if it’s not like that please upload a screenshot so we can understand, try to disable all extra plugins and disable possible firewall services that block connections with other services (like a Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts). I want to load a custom font. I already followed the steps of the first link that tells me. But it does not work. The typography in www.celediaz.com still does not load correctly. In the typography section I see the font that I have loaded but then does not apply.
It seems you have applied a not correct folders path. At first look it seems not possible the fonts file are located here: https://undsgn.d.pr/28rg4G
Try to remove the ”..” this is the correct URL of the fonts (ex: http://www.celediaz.com/wp-content/themes/uncode-child/fonts/CircularStd-Black.eot). I hope this make sense (you cannot take the code cufonfonts gives you without adjust the path to a WordPress child theme.

Hi HamdiBouafoura! There is not a method to deactivate the lightbox (this is a default inherit from WooCommerce). Anyway if you can share the preview of your site we can check if it’s possible create a quick code based on your settings.

Ok but I told you above that without modifying the codes it’s not possible, the best you can have with CSS is a small trick to change the mouse cursor (please check my third reply above). You should hack the codes but then you need to do the modification manually at any update, sorry.
