ok, I think it is very important to do the migrations correctly as you have a live site and a lot of students. The import can be done but the students progress in courses will be lost as eduma does not have any concept of activity, so if you can keep a record of Student – course – progress then we can later on import it and the students progress in course will remain same. Here’s what I suggest.
a. First we create a copy of your site, also called as staging site.
b. Then we do the migration on the staging site and then see how it works.
c. If all is successful we perform the same steps on the live site.
Our migration plugin is reversible, it keeps a backup of things it is modifying, so you can migrate in 1 click and even reverse the changes in 1 click. So, to get started, I think we should connect via some live chat channel, you can ping me at facebook.com/vibethemes and we can continue there.

ok, make sure there is a “Activate” page connected at WP Admin – Settings – BuddyPress – Pages -Activate. In case you do not find this page then you can create a new blank page (any title , content does not matter ) and connect it at above location.

Yes, for Vimeo we also have a plugin which allows you to manage and upload videos in vimeo from media panel.

1. Yes, for classrooms use WPLMS Batches plugin which also has a feature ” Batch specific curriculum” so batch students see a different curriculum for the same course which is set by the instructor for the batch.
2. Yes it is possible.
3. Yes this is called unit lock which requires previous unit to be completed to proceed to next. This is available in every course’s setting. You can further lock units by attaching assignments to units and enabling the assignment lock, so unless the student finishes a assignment for the unit, she can not mark the unit as complete and can not proceed to next unit.
4.YEs, just disable WP Admin – Settings – anyone can register
5. For using the course again, consider using Batches, you can set lesson dates specific to a batch or enable drip feed based on batch start date. We can guide you about this. video
6. Sure, enable site lock feature and set the login redirect as dashboard page in WP admin – LMS – Settings – login redirect.

6. Yes, it is possible. You can use BuddyDrive for this, it will enable instructors to share resources with specific users only.
8. This is usually covered by JetPack or Alibaba cloud’s WP plugin, no need for WPLMS to add anything. Yes it works with multisite as well.
9. Yes, we’re adding them, thanks, all POST api requires an authorization token in the headers.
10. Not necessary. This is how it works currently, any user who purchases a course or course bundle in subscription will see their course’s expire and they’ll need to purchase again to extend their subscription. The only advantage of WooCommerce subscriptions is that the subscriptions get automatically renewed if payment is made via certain payment gateways which support automatic renewals, see our doc.

10 . Well this is how you can create bundled courses in wplms : link .this will give access to all associated courses on single product purchase . Pmpro is needed if you want some kind of membership system in your site otherwise there is no need .
Woocommerce subscriptions is not necessary as wplms has inbuilt subscriptions available . You may only want to use it for its automatic recurring subscriptions feature like Netflix auto renewal of subscription .

Author upload a doc file and then readers pay money to read a book for certain period of time.
Readers can not download a pdf but only read it after paying a fee .

Yes, this is possible. I can guide you though this. We have a WPLMS S3 plugin which would prevent the download of the PDF file but you will be able to embed the PDF file in the course. I would also recommend you to watermark the PDF’s.

i have seen it in your tutorial http://vibethemes.com/downloads/wplms-s3/ cause the system has been designed pre for courses and not book reading.
but i see it will be long processes for book reading website like scribd. Authors will be using long processes to set the bookBut i bet for you to make a specific addon plugin or another new theme so that buy activating the plugin in a second it turns a wplms to be like kindle the users can publish their books.
this aadon plugin will deactivate some of feautres of wplms and add new features so that the system can be pivoted to book reading by subscription.
there is no theme or plugin in the whole market that offer that service. I have search and what i ended up is wplms but it does not smoothly lead to that goal cause it was prior designed for courses and not book reading publishing and subscription.

Interesting suggestion. With little customisation, it is possible to convert the whole course into a “watermarked” images and then to a PDF. So your instructors create a course which gets converted into a watermarked PDF and we can attach it to the WooCommerce product which gets commission to the instructor. Let me know if this is what you want.
