Pre-sales: How compatible is your theme with custom post types? Can they be selected in listings, widgets, etc?

hi Digiblogger, we don’t plan to remove this themes in any near future. we actually already having milestone till version 5. and we also ready for version 4 (we currently on version 3). so base on this, you can see that we are very serious with this product. we also split this product into another plugin (epic news element).

we have integration with custom post type, on our module, we have options to filter content from custom post type including with custom taxonomy. Our module also available on widget that having same functionality with module. if you confuse which one module is, you can see example right here : https://jnews.io/module-1/ . its building block of this themes.

You know… Publisher was one of my best themes I ever bought. And I am really disppointed about the fact, you removed this epic theme from Themeforest.

What about showing taxonomies on post tiles?

For example: Showing kcal on a recipe post

Can I use the port form to add custom post types? Are there repeatable field Groups?

Are you blaming us because of those item being removed? you need to understand the only one that can remove the item from themeforest is themeforest itself. also, we NEVER do anything to those themes. not even once. reporting? oh we have a lot of things to do instead of caring for other items.

honestly, we are being targeted by another author who doesn’t really like our item growing. we have been taken down twice. our banner removed. do we blaming other author? NOT AT ONCE. we just fix our item, we won’t do anything like that. we believe in Karma (we are Hindu) so we won’t do something like that to other authors. we try to play as fair as we can. reporting other item is just not our style.

FYI, those author account is removed. if they having issue with item, the only thing that removed is their item. not their author account.

A lot of author removed during those time, including author of boo theme. you know why? because right now Envato move to US. and they prevent anyone that having business on USA to do business with country that flagged as enemy of US.

so please keep your fact straight before writing nonsense like this.

And I made a mistake… On your JNews presentation page, I saw that section “Switch to JNews Safely” and Publisher was one of the themes mentioned. I thought Publisher was your theme? If not, I am Feeling really sorry about this misunderstanding.

hopefully you accepted my sorry. In the meantime, I bought this theme.

I have a lot of ideas and suggestions

- add custom posts (with optional repeatable fields, custom taxonomies) to post submit feature
- allow transitions for blocks
- enable page title disabled for pages and posts (seperated)
- enable align top level menu items in main menu right (tried via css but without success)
- add missing css style: .cooked-sortby-wrap .chosen-container-single .chosen-single {height: 3rem;}
- enable Split Post for pages

additional is there a “quick” way to enable split post on pages? Would really really need this.

For split post, at the moment we only have this feature for the single post. If you want to use on the single page you may need to do some changes in there.

Do you think you could enable this in a future update.

A Long time ago, there were some cool (not that cool as yours) plugins in the WP Repo to achieve this. But actually, you can only have pagination numbers in Pages (WP-PageNavi for example). And they don´t Show any section titles or something similiar.

Would be a great Feature.

By the way: I am still testing. But actually, I think your theme is a really powerhouse of Features

Refining the search by not only have the Option “only Posts” or not. Would be great to select custom post types and to exclude pages

Another Thing…. the menus

Your menu is great but by using the custom walker (and only one is allowed in wp menu), other plugins don´t have any Chance to add something. jnews is a theme with post submit enabled, so it would make sense to have menu items, that are only shown to those participating in the community. 1.2. unfortunately, we don’t have that kind of option right now. we only support vimeo and youtube for now.

3. we never use those plugin so I can’t tell you exactly if those plugin is working fine with this theme.

3. The plugin author says “The plugin should work with any theme because it adds the content to the wordpress editor like what is written manually by the us”.

That means facebook video posts can be automatically made video posts of your theme, right? Not sure how to check it before buying your theme.

It’s the word: “Source”. It’s not inside the string of your theme to translate it. In spanish is “Enlace”. I can’t translate that word to spanish with your plugin cause that word isn’t inside…

I do not see that option when I go to edit the page. The only options showing up are ‘JNews Single Page Default’, JNews Social Meta and ‘Revolution Slider Options’.

How to I get it so that option shows up?
