Why is there an h1 tag on the blog pages? Just like on the home page, which throws an H1 tag on the logo? This is bad for seo as you get 2 h1 tags.

If you are using Header Type 4 then you have to go to wp-content/themes/porto//page_header and edit the particular header type you are using and you will find the below-given code in the file:

You have to change its tag as per your requirements.

Hello. I am considering buying this theme but i have a question before. My development team does not want to use visual composer to build the website, and personally, me neither. Can i use this theme without the need of installing visual composer? we would prefer to make most changes in a child theme using the theme personalization and coding. thank you in advance

WP Bakery (Visual Composer) plugin is the required plugin for using the Theme without it you can not import any of the Demo, and If you want to start from Scratch and do not use Pre-Built Demo then no need for this plugin you can go with the Theme without WP Bakery plugin.

Please follow the steps given below you will not find an issue.

Please Install the theme on Test site and activate it by going into Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate, and Install the Demo and Configure it as per your requirements.

Now before migrating or using the theme on Live site you have to deactivate the License from the test site by going into Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate and you will find the Deactivate button just click on it, it will deactivate the license from the test site.

Then finally go to the Live site and Install the theme on Live site and Activate the theme on Live site with the same purchase code by following the same steps.

You will not find a single issue and if yes then contact us we will reset the purchase code for you.

Is it possible to disable Global Product Custom Tab for some products and retain it for some others. I have set a size guide in the global product tab, but i don’t want to display it for some products because those products don’t have sizes.

This is only possible with one way, Please disable the Global Size Guide Tab by removing the Block Slug name from Appearance >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Single Product and then go to Blocks and edit the particular Size Guide Block and copy the complete code of the Block and go to WP-Dashboard >> Products and edit every single product on which you want it to set and paste the code into Custom Tab Content Section and set it as per your requirements, It will work for you.

This is the only possible way otherwise it requires Customization.

Sorry to say that but Search Result Page is coming from default WordPress pages and you can not Customize its layout directly using Theme Options, Its layout works on the particular Search Content Type that you have selected from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form. Like if you choose Search Content Type as product and you are using the layout of the shop page as sidebar layout then search result page will also work with the same layout as the shop page. So Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form and change/set/select the Search Content Type as product and save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

Search Result Page is coming from YITH AJAX Search plugin and you can not Customize its layout directly using Theme Options, Its layout works on the particular Search Content Type that you have selected from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form. Like if you choose Search Content Type as product and you are using the layout of the shop page as sidebar layout then search result page will also work with the same layout as the shop page. So you have to change it as per your requirements using Custom CSS.

If you want to change the layout of the search page result then you have to edit the search.php file and add the new layout in the search.php file. As you can see that we have added the search page layout same the custom post types layout selected from Theme Options. For example, if you set the Search post type as a post then the search result page get the layout of the blog archive page layout from Theme options. SO you have to create the layout inside the search.php file. Also, you have to make the changes in the wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/layout.php file inside the porto_search_form function.

should put an option in the theme menu to display the words or not. I just updated and changed it, I had to do this “patch” in custom css
