Hi,

I am so pleased to use this theme. But there are a few problems about it. And the most important one is search result page.

When I search for a product the result page is like that: https://bit.ly/2Uvq4mX (live) but it should be like that: https://prnt.sc/kf4gzg (as you share) hoe can I change that?

Sorry to say that but Search Result Page is coming from default WordPress pages and you can not Customize its layout directly using Theme Options, Its layout works on the particular Search Content Type that you have selected from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form. Like if you choose Search Content Type as product and you are using the layout of the shop page as sidebar layout then search result page will also work with the same layout as the shop page. So Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form and change/set/select the Search Content Type as product and save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 14/11/2018. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Search Result Page is coming from YITH AJAX Search plugin and you can not Customize its layout directly using Theme Options, Its layout works on the particular Search Content Type that you have selected from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Search Form. Like if you choose Search Content Type as product and you are using the layout of the shop page as sidebar layout then search result page will also work with the same layout as the shop page. So you have to change it as per your requirements using Custom CSS.

If you want to change the layout of the search page result then you have to edit the search.php file and add the new layout in the search.php file. As you can see that we have added the search page layout same the custom post types layout selected from Theme Options. For example, if you set the Search post type as a post then the search result page get the layout of the blog archive page layout from Theme options. SO you have to create the layout inside the search.php file. Also, you have to make the changes in the wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/layout.php file inside the porto_search_form function.

hi, i updated to version 4.11.1, now in mobile home page buy/add to cart button only show icon don’t show “buy” or “add to cart” words, how can i put the words? and “view options” dont show icon on desktop. and how can i change owl nav position? before uptade show on the top, now it show in the middle….

work fine because I put this custom css:

ul.products.pcols-ls-2 li.product-outimage .add-links .button{ width: auto !important; text-indent:0 !important; }

should put an option in the theme menu to display the words or not. I just updated and changed it, I had to do this “patch” in custom css

If I insert a porto portfolios element in WP bakery only the featured image of that portofolio is shown in lightbox.

How to make it to show all the features images of that portfolio in lightbox?

Yes, You are right, Porto Portfolio element only shows the single featured Image not all, This is the default functionality of the element, But if you go to any single Portfolio Page then all the Images will be shown in LightBox.

While we currently do not have that feature, I have submitted your idea as a feature request to our team so that they can consider for future updates.

Hey Guys!

First of all, I love your theme – it’s almost perfect!

Now for my suggestion: In the mobile view I got the hamburger icon, the search-lense icon & the mini cart. However, the behaviour of these three items is a little counter-intuitive in the mobile view:

When you click the hamburger icon, the menu pops up. To close it, you can click on the hamburger icon again or tap somewhere on the page.

When you click on the search-lense icon, the search form pops up, but the only way to close it, is to click on the icon again.

And then there’s the mini-cart. When you click on it, the cart pops up, and the only way to close it again, is to tap somewhere on the page.

So, the behaviour of all these icons is different, which is really a bit counter-intuitive. It would be great if all these icons would behave the same way – i.e. to open it, click on it, to close it, click it again or tap somewhere on the page.

Maybe you could modify this with a comming update?

Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

Hi, I’m getting an ajax error when installing the “Porto Functionality” plugin after an update from 2.8.3. This causes the page to show a 500 error right after, and I unfortunately have to start all over again. Any thoughts on how to update the theme? Thanks!

This is because you have missed a lot of in between Theme updates of the from your Current running version and the latest version 4.11.1, So lot of design changes, Features Changes, Features removed/include in the Theme in missed updates, You can check the Change Log of the Theme here: https://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/9207399#item-description__change_logs

And I suggest you to If you are starting with the latest Theme then start with scratch otherwise lot of the mess up will be there for you.

Regarding Porto Functionality Installation: Note: Please take a complete backup of your site before update the theme and also deactivate/delete these three plugins (Porto Widgets, Porto Short code, Porto Content-Type) before an update because in our latest theme we have made a new Plugin named Porto Functionality is combination of these 3 plugins so before install Porto Functionality you must deactivate/delete those 3 plugins and in our new update also Ultimate addon for Visual composer Plugin is also excluded, the elements which are used in the site of Ultimate Addon we add those elements in Porto Functionality so no need to worry but you can use Ultimate Addon for visual composer as well it is up to you.

I have two minor questions regarding my webshop which uses Porto Theme:

1. Since a few days the thumbnails on all product pages disapeared. For example: https://www.tezen.eu/produkt/kaiserlicher-huang-cha-gelber-tee-aus-yunnan-china/ normally there should be four thumbnails underneath the big picture. I already tried to deactivate all third party plugins but no success. Can you help?

2. End of march I recieved an email from themeforest that an update is available. Do I need to install the update manually? If so can I just download the update from themeforest and install it or will I lose all my settings with this?

1. Please create a Block and set it as per your requirements and save it and then copy the Block slug name and go to Products >> Categories and edit any of the Category and you will find Category Options and under Category Options you will find the below listed Options:

I. Content Top
II. Content Inner Top
III. Content Inner Bottom
IV. Content Bottom

and you just have to paste the block slug name in any one from it as per your requirements and save changes and it will work for you.

Just updated WooCommerce and latest Porto – Great work, seems like everything works ok after 1-2 hours testing BUT the custom tab content in single products is still not fixed :(

Good :) Also found that “get_woocommerce_term_meta” is deprecated so debug-log had 1.2MB of notices. I replaced all deprecated functions in functions/woocommerce.php with “get_term_meta” so it sees to work ok now in my site.
