I didn’t want the side bar to the left or any thing to the left. So I removed those items and then the banner got wider along with the boxes under the banner. Is there a way I can keep the banner and everything else the same as the demo and align it to the center?

Ok thanks, so I got the email for the news letter working on the pop up box and for the footer but I’m still having one problem. Porto theme 1 has three boxes underneath. I want when someone clicks on one of those images or boxes to be taking to another page with my list of products. For e.g, tire spray would be the name of one those three boxes. Then when a customer clicks on tire spray, he/she is taken to another page. Where they can choose different multiple tire shine brands products. Then after the customer choices one, they are taking to the product description page for their product or brand of choice. I tired what you said but I ended up having multiple boxes that went straight down my home page. Thanks so much I really appreciate it!!!

When I try to access the filter menu on mobile (the little toggle that floats to the side of the screen, not the main menu in the header), I cannot use any of the dropdown menus in the sidebar without my phone’s keyboard popping up as soon as I click a filter and then blocking half the screen. It won’t let me scroll through the options as a result and it is impossible to use the filters unless I set them to the list/button option, which I can’t do for some of them due to the number of options.
I think it is doing this because the dropdowns have been made to allow someone to type in what they want versus just scroll through – not sure if this is a woocommerce thing or a porto thing. The keyboard therefore pops up as soon as I click a filter, thinking I want to type instead of look at the options. The sidebar can also only scroll up so far so I can’t scroll below the keyboard to get to the bottom options.
Is there a way to turn off the typing part of the filters’ dropdown menu or something? The only other option I can see to get around this is to put the filters above the products so they’re always displayed, which I can do if you can let me know what file I need to edit for that.

The Keyboard Pop Up is not related to the Theme, It related to your Mobile Browser, and sorry to say that but there is no option in the Theme for turning it OFF.

1. It is clearly written in the given article that: And if you simply want to remove/delete it then just simply remove/delete the Porto Modal Box element from your home page.
And if you want to remove/disable it for a while and want it again in future, then simply edit the particular row which has Porto Modal Box element and you will find disable row option inside Row options, so just check it yes, it will disable the Pop Up and when ever in future you want it back again just simply un-check the disable row option again.

Search related – The search bar shows duplicate results (in the dropdown) when you type in the product name i have 3 products called moovit and they total results are 6, 2 of each even though there is only 1 of each product in the system.
If i type moov – i get 3 but when i add “it” to the end then i get 2 of each for 6. Happens for a bunch of products – solution?

I have isolated the issue. It products will appear twice in the search dropdown if you search a word that is both in the product name and as a tag. So the search tool is not consolidating search results in this case. It is not related to the most updated theme, external plugins at all.
Are you aware of this issue? I am very familiar with your theme. This is a use case scenario of your search tool. It should consolidate products in the list

I have just tested it at my end on my test site and finds it is working fine with the same scenario as well, The issue is only on your site and if you are using the old version and plugins then it is surely because of that. So you have to update the Theme and Plugins or try to test the Theme on a fresh new WP, I am sure you will not finds the issue.

Hi, Im busy looking into the most suitable shop theme, it needs to have very image based home page with nice big image sections linking to categories. So i love this design https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop12/ but notice those grid sections are just images with the text and buttons on (as opposed to background images with live text and button link function). This is smoke and mirrors to me, but you may have done it just to show possibilities. My question is obviously can this really be done as i can see it, but properly with background images and live text buttons with this theme?

You can simply put the Links on those Images working in Grid on the Home Page, by editing your Home Page and you will find Porto Masonry Container and Porto Masonry Items under it and under Porto Masonry Items you will find Single Images elements, You just have to edit the Single Image elements and set the URL on click as per your requirements as showing in this screenshot: https://screenshot.net/ryjx6c9
