WPBakery Page Builder is no longer activated and all my pages were built with Visual Composer – they have all reverted to plain text and I cannot edit in the Page Editor anymore. I have updated the theme through Envato Market but WPBakery still isn’t active. This is a large corporate site, urgently needs to be fixed.

Having now checked the entire site, I can confirm the website has been broken due to these updates.

And the two other websites I have bought and used Bridge on are broken too. I just need to know how to re-enable Visual Composer. ASAP.

LMS Qode is it possible to show course name in woocommerce order column list. I tried with product name but array is empty

It is not possible to do this within the themes options but you can submit a request at our help center for hints and suggestions on modification of code for that purpose. You could as well try to use a 3rd party plugin for that purpose but we can not recommend any as they have not been tested with our theme, however you are always opt to try this on your end for sure.

No WP Page builder, no Classic, no Gutenburg options on the home page. Other pages have wpbakery page builder just as they always have. Please help. I’m freaking out a little, this is a big site. I’m not going to pay you to help me fix something you broke. Other people are having the same issue.

If WPBakery is functioning on other pages it is likely due to your content on that page and has nothing to do with the theme. So please check if your content is added correctly.

Dear awesome staff at Qode,

we have a pre-purchase-question:

What is the difference between a Bridge-Demo with Elementor compared to Elementor Pro? Because normally, when you only use Elementor, you will not be able to edit footer or header without special plugins. Since your theme only costs ten bucks more than Elementor Pro, we are a little bit confused. ;-)

Thanks for taking an interest in our theme! Our theme uses the Elementor plugin which is included within the theme and there you will indeed not have the ability to edit the footer and header with Elementor as in the Pro version, but you have our themes options for this which you can find in Qode Options > Header like here

Qode Options > Footer like here

As well as you can find in Appearance > Widgets widgets for both Header and Footer areas like here

Also I need to say that you are getting Elementor and WPBakery plugin within the theme and you can choose with which plugin you would like to build your pages. Demos that are made with Elementor are specifically built to be used with this plugins and the other demos are built with WPBakery.

I just found out that the theme is not working properly when editing… When I try to edit a page it takes forever and then shows an error:

Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

After changing the theme to WP standard theme I was able to change everything. Please send me a solution for this problem ASAP. I’m using Version: 17.0. I also disabled all plugins and left only the theme but it didn’t work either.

I just need to point out that you are using an outdated version of the theme and I would highly recommend you to update your theme and the plugins that came within the theme according to our article here as the latest version of the Bridge theme is 19.2.1.

I submitted a support ticket too, but Demo 246 (uses Elementor) doesn’t fully import. It stalls at 98% and says “Something went wrong. Please contact support.”

I don’t have any errors on the dashboard… can you help??

I must say trying to import demo 246 on our end it imports completely. https://www.screencast.com/t/kRD4Erk22em Also I need to point out that demo 246 is not an Elementor demo rather it uses WPBakery, but that does not really have to do with the issues you are encountering. However I would kindly ask you to check our article about importing Bridge theme here as well as you can check recommendation for server resources here. Another thing you should know that reaching 98% of the demo import has likely imported all of your content and if you still encounter issues with this I would kindly ask you to continue the conversation with our support agents as we can see that your ticket has been answered.

Hi i purchade the themes and i installed on my site samanthalombardi.it but when i try to activate license when i insert purchase code and emal and press Register Theme the page remain on “Please Wait…” and stop. If i try to rechard the theme is not registered.

And as for the Elementor you should know that you are not obligated to use it. You can choose if you want to use WPBakery or Elementor, you should know that new demos that are built with Elementor can be used only with Elementor plugin.

It appears that Visual Composer is no longer a part of this theme…is it possible to purchase it separately and use it with this theme?

Hi, Can I get PSD of any bridge285 version?

Most of our demo pages were a joint creation of our content builders and designers, so unfortunately not every page found on our demo sites has its own PSD file. On the other hand, there are certain pages, including main home variants which do have PSD files available, however these are not included in the theme ZIP file which you obtain from ThemeForest. Nonetheless, it is possible to get these files by contacting our support team.

All you should do is send us a mail at helpcenter@qodeinteractive.com explaining which PSD file you require, and our agents will be happy to assist you if said PSDs are available.

1) WPBakery in this theme strips out paragraphs and makes all text a mess. This is very well known issue for THIS particular theme as proved by google search. I’ve been using WPBakery for the last 3 years and I never had this issue.

2) YOU CAN ONLY PAY BY PAYPAL in the Travel demo for the “Tours” packages. Extremely disappointed by this.

3) Multiple various issues and bugs that need some time to iron by a developer (junior dev would suffice, nothing too serious) that makes experience with this theme less than enjoyable.

1. With the new update of the theme you have the possibility to edit your pages with Elementor plugin as well, so if you are not satisfied with WPBAkery you could try to out with Elementor instead. I appreciate your fast reply here, contrary to your support page which is slow.

1) I’m not interested in Elementor, WPBakery is my preference and this issue appears only in your Theme. There is a walkthrough as you mentioned in a reply (Qode Options -> Fonts -> Text -> Paragraph -> Top/Bottom Margin (px) -> And set some value for text space, for example 8 and save). I have never seen WPBakery exhibit this behavior before. So just put this info somewhere in the documentation so that we can view it rather fast. Took me 45mins of frustration to make it work.

2) Not all the world prefers to pay by paypal, and you know very well how bad for actual conversions would “off line” payment be. The user should be offered multiple payment solutions right away. My old dad doesn’t have Paypal, nor does he wish to create an account. He wants to put in his cc details and proceed with the booking, or just use one of the million methods offered by existing eCommerce solutions such as WooCommerce, most of them plugins you can install for free. This is very serious omission, and would be the ONE AND ONLY reason NOT to choose your theme. Why did you not just create the tour to use WooCommerce functionality which is straight of the box and JUST WORKS… Now a developer needs to hop in and implement various payment methods..

Just updated to Bridge 19.1 and noticed that LayerSlider WP plugin has not been updated to 6.9.4, which is recommended for better WordPress 5.3 compatibility. Any theme update planned to address this?

Also, with LayerSlider WP leaving Envato Market, will there any impact on the plugin with the Bridge theme in the future?

I can assure you that the current version of Layer Slider is fully compatible with our version of the theme and the latest version of WordPress, and as well as it is planned to be updated in the future update of the theme, which you will for sure be notified about. As for the Layer Slider leaving Envato Market you should know that there will not be any impact on using it in our theme.

This new security on theme registration seems to be slowing down the load time of the website. The previous versions were really doing fine, then this happens. Kinda disappointing.

It could be only improved with code refactoring and including new options for content building.
