I have recently completed a production site using Kalium and I’m very happy with the theme and how easy it is to develop with.
However I have one issue my client is asking me to fix for mobile and that is on mobile single product pages you cannot swipe the image carousel easily.
I have added back the arrows but I was hoping this would work without them as flickity.js usually works ok. Is there anything I can do to fix this please as it’s essential for my client.

Thank you very much for your kind words, I thought that you don’t like our theme based on your review.
Please make sure that you are using an unmodified version of Kalium theme and also that you are using the latest version (currently v.2.9.4).
Then please visit theme demos example Shop demo to see if the same problem is happening in our demos too. I just tested it and I can easily swipe through the products without any single problem.

Thank you for your reply. I am testing on iPhoneX and android device and the problem exists on your demos too.

On mobile, you can swipe, but lots of times it doesn’t work properly. The swipte action doesn’t move the slide enough to start the transition.
I have tried changing the option settings for attraction, friction etc and nothing fixes the issue.

I’m sorry but I just tried to replicate the same problem and I can swipe without a problem through the product images, I also recorded this behaviour to you (see video).
I’m using iPhone 11, iOS 13.2.3.

Did you see my video? I am using my thumb on the hand holding the phone to try and swipe on all your demos and I get the same result every time.
It’s like the swipe wants to move but can’t as the page scroll has taken over. This is on your demo pages. Test it again with your thumb on the hand holding the phone. You can clearly see it never works 100%.
I have also tested flickity js and it is the same there so that is where the issue is coming from. Test the first slider yourself on flickity website and you will see the same issue.
Your image slider is broken on mobile and I have confirmed this on iPhoneX, iphoneXS and iPhone 8.

Sure that I saw your video. For the moment I can’t replicate the same in my device (iPhone Pro Max iOS 13.2.3). But, from this GitHub link I can see some comments that say that the problem is present.
Surely that we will deep further to check this problem and apply a fix if needed but I think that the flickity soon will release an update that will fix the problem and we will update the library as well through the theme update.

The flickity dev is no longer working on the project as you can see in his twitter feed. The issue persists and is recognised by a lot of devs on that GitHub link.
The best solution would be to use something else instead of flickity. As for me, I’m stuck with a theme that doesn’t work on iOS after paying for it and using it for a clients website.
This might be an iOS 13 bug but your them currently does not work on that platform and stops users from being able to see project galleries.
You should let potential buyers know BEFORE they buy or refund them after they have purchased.

Flickity author will be back again, he is just taking a break. Anyway, we will try to add the fix from the “bakura10” and see if that fixes the problem, if yes, then we will include the same fix in the next theme updates as I wrote in my previous reply.

Ok great. Please also try and fix the other mobile slider issue on your theme:
On mobile view equal height images can still show at different sizes:

Where can I report bugs without having to pay for support?
Without these two serious bugs fixed, the theme really isn’t suitable for mobile use. Once they are both fixed I can consider purchasing another license

Hi there. I am following the Flickety thread on Github and the plugin author still isn’t back and contributing.
So still the issue persists in the Kalium theme on mobile.
Do you have any plans right now to fix it or replace the slider with something that works as expected on mobile? I’ve been waiting for a while now with a broken production site 
Also, Flickety has slider dots as part of the default install, but I can see you have removed them. How can I add those back please?

I’m interested in purchasing two licenses for the theme but I am concerned about the many comments about licensing issues. I would be developing a site using the theme on a staging server and then moving it to a production server. Will this present a licensing issue? Secondly, does a single license cover subdomains such as, “development.example.com” as well as the root at, “example.com” or “www.example.com”? If so that would eliminate any issues with a development or staging server.

Thanks for your interest in our theme 
Yes, it supports, for example www.yoursite.com/staging, www.staging.yoursite.com to build the site and then when you finish the site move it to www.yoursite.com. You can also activate your theme in another until you finish the developing and then when you want to move your site to the final domain contact our support so we can revoke your license.

hey, is it possible to get your “aurum template menu” inlcuded in the “kalium theme”? We need a subemnu with coloums, any mega menu plugin isn´t working because of the overiding settings of the kalium theme. To get more than that one coloum is poosible, it can be seen at your aurum template at some demos. I think a lot of people unsing woocoomerce would love to get this feature.

My friend has a site created for his company the designer used the kalium theme. however i went to update it for him but got the detail “An error occurred while updating Kalium: This domain is not permitted to download the update!”
I tried removing the activation but As it is linked to the original developers account I now cant re-activate it as no purchase code was provided
I have the licence details that were in there but I am unable to log a support ticket due to not having the purchase code. many thanks,

The rules of item support are written by Envato and are valid for every item you purchase, they clearly explain that the item supports start from the day you purchase the item and not from the moment the client decides to use it. Also they explain that the user is not obliged to give support after the support has expired:
For problems that come from the theme we never want to push any of our users to extend their support, as you can see from the other comments the ones that were theme problems have been addressed differently from those whom with expired support.
Customer service is important and we know that, we try to be very helpful for our customers and that’s why we have the most rated theme among the most popular themes in ThemeForest.
Your question is a customization question, but our team sometimes help clients in some small customization too, even that Envato doesn’t obligate authors to do that. But there is no way that we can assist you in this question from this theme comments area.

Great theme! The slick overall design, very smooth backend and major theme customization make Kalium a perfect fit for my branded website and make this theme a highly recommendable one.
I have never used the support in the 2 years I’ve owned the Kalium theme product-key, however, now that I want to update the theme from version 2.1.4 to 2.9.4 I am stuck in what seems like a product key issue and cannot update the Kalium theme on my website.
The domain I am using my Kalium theme is http://villapiceni.com but at the moment, I cannot make any theme updates because the API indicates that the product-key is associated with an incorrect domain name.
It seems like I am stuck in the current Kalium Theme version unless I can contact the Kalium Theme team, but to get support here it’s $42, which would be very uncomfortable since the error stems more from a product-key registration issue more than anything else.

Regular license is valid for one domain only as you can read on this article Theme licenses and activation.I deleted your old license because I saw that you are not using Kalium in that domain anymore, so now you can activate your product in its final domain.

Hey team, I’m aware that my support has expired, but there is one annoying thing on my Kalium Website. The content stretches all the way to the browser edge, way beyond the logo in the header on certain pages i.e. https://maximilian-streich.com/contact/
I´ve been tryin forever to fix it but just making things worse. Any idea what setting to adjust? Any help would be highly appreciated

We don’t have this issue on our theme. Please make sure that you have done those steps:
1— Make sure that you are using the latest version of Kalium, you can read the changelog here Kalium release notes.
2— Make sure that you have installed and updated all the required theme plugins (specially WPBakery Page Builder), for more info please read this article Kalium required plugins.
3— Make sure that you have installed Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin too and have deleted Advanced Custom Fields free plugins. Read this article Advanced Custom Fields 5.x .
4— If the problem is still happening then you should know that we don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work for you too. Please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

My brand new website with Kalium Theme (bookstore) loads very slow. 5-6 seconds to just load homepage. I’m located in California and my hosting is Sitegound(known to be best for WP). My other website with Astra(which is built in pure Vanilla JS) loads under 3 seconds.
What should I do to optimize my website?
I don’t have many plugins installed, only essential plugins. Same as my other website.

You don’t understand. I just went through a lot to transfer my site to the url and now, I can’t use my theme product key? How are people supposed to plan for this?
