2. If you mean for CTA the form below the hero section in the header of your example https://undsgn.d.pr/VH65gH Uncode doesn’t provide any form like that. However our Page Builder allows to put an element in that position, as you can see from this demo: https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/creative-digital-agency/ So if you have a plugin that creates that kind of forms you can easily put it into the same position.

1. Is definitely easy to create that header, and moreover you can directly import that particular demo with our Import Demo tool and start from the example you build your own version.

2. I don’t know how that particular layout is created, but you can have something very similar with Uncode, by using the Posts module: you can display a loop of 3 pages, set what elements display for each page, change the text of the buttons etc (here something created on fly with the demo images: https://undsgn.d.pr/he4ew0).

I’m sorry but I don’t have a solution: if you made some changes to the code of the theme you also should be able to maintain that. If you need to use a theme that has been built for a particular version of Wordpress you also have to avoid to update Wordpress and all the plugins to avoid conflicts. Or you should have stayed updated by following each release, as it would have been easier than doing it at this time. A software isn’t a static thing because, as you said correctly, security reasons and many other things require time by time to change something.

I can only recommend to find what in particular you have changed in your customized theme and check with a versioning tool what changes are made by you and what are the changes made by our staff and fix the issues according with that.

I would like to be more helpful, but the only way would be to know what you have changed, what errors appear when you try to update etc.

I just made CSS changes in the customizer, nothing more. Just front end changes.. All the updates I made from Wordpress have never been an issue. And the patch your released doesn’t seem to work for V1.0.0. So I maintained the Wordpress page. Just your theme wasn’t able to update because it seems you have made some major CSS changes and that causes conflicts with my CSS overwrites I did. I updated the Wordpress and the plugins every month. What is a versioning tool? And as I said if I update your theme the front end is messed up with wrong stylings. When I use the patch you have provided for Wordpress 5.3 the whole page is broken and Wordpress turns on the debug mode..

Would it be possible that you can have at least a look at the page? Maybe you have a other solution to fix the logo and missing image issue. The Wordpress update doesn’t break fully the page, just the logo and all the images. Only when I try your patch it breaks the whole backend..

The patch is provided for Wordpress 5.3 and Uncode 2.2.2 unfortunately, not for every version of Uncode, sorry. And I meant not only update Wordpress and the plugin but Uncode too every month, i.e. every time a new version was released.

A versioning tool is something that highlights changes between one version of a software and another, what has been added, moved, removed etc.

However, if you added CSS code only, the situation shouldn’t be so dramatic.

If you provide your site url I’ll be more than glad to take a look at it and try to point you to the right direction, sure.

Yes I just have added custom css code in the uncode theme css section! the page is Smatterling.com I have also copied the whole webpage and set up a test link with it. Its a 1:1 copy of the original page running Wordpress 5.2.2 Unicode 1.0. I can also give you the log in information if needed. Any help would be very appreciated! Maybe you can also give me a hint how to save time in order to optimize it to the latest uncode version. Thank you so much!

I just checked. And you are right! Never mind then! I once updated to a never theme version in uncode and it broke my site. But with this update it is nearly 100% fine. Just minor things are messed up (like slider arrows, and gaps between elements) Thanks so much for your help! Very appreciated! I have one other issue I don’t understand. When you look at the homepage and scroll down to the headline “German Design Award” look at the position of the text and picture. You see that it is not aligned correctly. Resize the window to mobile and then back to desktop size you see that ow the alignment of the picture and the text is correctly and much smaller height. This is how I have originally designed the section. do you know why it only gets displayed correctly when you resize the window?

I’m sorry, actually I don’t know. I tried to replicate your issue, using the same image you use as well, same max-width etc. But I don’t see any issue on my end. Maybe it depends on the animation on the image that doesn’t allow to the slider to calculate the height of the image correctly. Try to remove the animation and check if the problem is that please.

I thought it wasn’t that bad but now I cleared my cache and cookies and the page front end looks not nice. here is my testing site https://draft.smatterling.com As you see the Font is partially wrong (especially on the headlines) On Opera and Firefox the logo in the top navigation is missing it just replaces it with the blank icon and writes “logo” in it. Some minor spacing issues between certain elements (that are not that bad, can be easily fixed). Can you maybe help me once again and inspect this site? After I have more insights in the issues I will try to fix them once by once. but I really appreciate your knowledge, that could safe me some time! Thanks!

About the font it seems you are trying to load a font named “nexa_lightregular”... but where is incorporated this font family in your website? Are you sure you didn’t imported in the old theme files? Since we don’t see you are using a child theme for this…

I see the logo also on safari and chrome. The cache is turned off. The font got implemented vor 1 and a half year by one of your support team. I opened a ticket for this I think quite a while ago. at the moment the cache of your site doesn’t seem off: I see all the source code compressed at least. Could you confirm the issue doesn’t depend on that? Maybe you have Autoptimize installed?

About the font: I’m sorry but it seems that the license of Nexa font you previuosly used doesn’t allow to load the web font anymore. If you look at FontSquirrel, where the was taken from: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/nexa you’ll see there’s no way to download it for free anymore.

You were right, there was a second cache plugin installed.. It is now off. I do have the license of the font and a local copy of it. How can I fix this? logo is sort of ok. but can you look at the page again and clear your cache and cookies? Sometimes pictures are only loading half of it or some are missing.. It doesn’t look and feel very functional when you scroll and click through the page. Do you know what I mean?

About the font: I’m sorry, but since Font Squirrel doesn’t provide the ability to load it anymore I’m afraid you have to contact the owner of the font and talk with him/her/them…

About images: I don’t see any issue, sorry. What browser do you use and what OS?

I do have the rights for the font. I have the local file on my desktop and one of your employee integrated it on the webpage from my source file approx. 2 years ago. So I don’t need font squirrel. Browsers I use: Version 13.0.3 (14608.3.10.10.1), Google Chrome: Version 79.0.3945.79 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit), Firefox: 71.0 (64-bit) and Mac OsX: Max OSX Mojave, Version 10.14.6 (18G1012) here is an example image where I have an issue on all the browsers: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dfhlfzvboo4zz08/Screenshot%202019-12-16%2012.01.18.png?dl=0. About the font: I’m not in the position to help you about right and license, sorry. However, I can say that own a desktop font doesn’t mean automatically owning its rights for web. I saw the ticket you talk about, but at that time FontSquirrel provided the font from their server. So our support agent, maybe, simply something in your admin panel. I don’t know and I can’t know at this moment, sorry.

However, if you want to use a webfont stored in your computer, you have to upload it to your server and follow these steps https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214002245-Typography (look at the last chapter: “Custom Web Fonts”). At this moment I don’t see the browser loading the fonts, so the system the load them previously doesn’t work anymore. I can only imagine what the problem is, since I see the frontend only.

About buttons: I can only see your custom CSS is different in the draft version from the regular one. You should check the changes you do in the Theme Options are reflected in your frontend: maybe the issue is simply due to the fact your dynamic CSS file need to be refreshed. Try to change a little thing in the Theme Options, to change one color in your palette https://undsgn.d.pr/TmVMN8 and check if the things using that color changes in your frontend. Let me know.

And, sorry, are you talking about this image https://undsgn.d.pr/5Lbf6M ? I’m not sure to understand. That image is cut because of the height of the row that is set at 30% of the window etc. Or maybe you’re talking about something else… let me know please.

Thanks for inspecting the font issue! I will re-integrate it in the server and try to embed it. What do you mean the browser is not loading the fonts? Would there a possibility to give you access to the Wordpress backend and to take a proper look at it? I tried to change something in the theme options without any luck.. It changes to the new color without an issue.. And yes the image I was talking about. Interesting that it changes with the new Uncode version (from V1 to V2) So I can simply increase it to 100%, right?

So, about CSS problem, I can only suggest to change the file permissions of the files and the folders that contain the files themselves.

You should set 775 as file permissions for the folders:

• /wp-content/themes/uncode/library/css/ and
• /wp-content/themes/uncode/core/assets/css/

And file permissions 664 for the files inside those folders:

• /wp-content/themes/uncode/library/css/style-custom.css
• /wp-content/themes/uncode/core/assets/css/admin-custom.css

I hope you know what I’m talking about, otherwise you can find many info about changing file permissions on Google, or you can contact your hosting support maybe.z

And also what about the Hovers on the buttons? They are completely gone. Did you change the hover classes in Uncode V2? In V1 it was working fine. Also the contact field hover is also different. Thanks for letting me know.

2. I fixed the hover issue it seems you have added “(.icon-animated):hover” to .style-dark .btn-default:not(.btn-hover-nobg):hover. I I added it to my custom css class and it worked.

You need to verify with Slider Revolution support what is the correct settings, maybe you have a setting also for mobile? Try to insert 680 or something bigger to quick fix…

There is not an option to modify the Overlay Menu background color, it is force by the static CSS. We are planning to add this ability though, but at the moment the only way to edit is via CSS:

Hi, It is an intermittent problem, I know when it’s going to happen because the menu’s don’t display correctly and the title on the home page fits on one line. (After I resave the page, the title goes back to 2 lines, the menus display correctly and the problem goes away. Then, it come back.)

Yes I have a CDN service but I cleared this (and all the other caches) but the issue keeps coming back. Here is a screen shot from about 10 min ago.

We are pretty sure it’s cache related, anyway what is the exact page and what are the actions to replicate? From what we know this happened only if you scroll while the page while it’s loading.

Possibly, but I’m not sure how to fix it. It is happening on all pages with content block headers and also causes the menu to only display on half a page.

To replicate it, just scroll down a bit on those pages, then scroll back up.

OK, so the main problem is cache related!
Do you refer to the menu that is not full height? I think this is cache plugin related. You should create a cache dedicated to mobile devices too, for example WPRocket has this option (Cache for mobile). Otherwise, if you use another plugin you can try to use this extra code (always clear cache etc):
