Hi, it’s a great theme, clean and easy to use. Just that there’s quite complex in the shop filter part. I am using “shop grid” and I have 7 category and total 14 subcategory. It’s now shows catgory(1)..... category(7) subcategory(1)...subcategory(14) . where the subcategory is not follow after their parental category. I would like to know if there’s a quick fix for that?

The plugin method mentioned in the link is only works in the default shop. The shop metro can only show limited category terms: like 7 in the total 21 terms and still not in the ordered way. I will try to connect with the support team

Hello, I’ve been having issues with the uncode theme with one of my websites.

And there are some pages in my website that doesn’t load properly as well.
Is there an ultimate way to fix all these loading issues I’m having with this website. I’m very much willing to renew my support if you think you can solve these issues.

It’s taking too long to load. Although it loads normally on mobile, desktop with incognito mode and safari. This might be an issue with the contact form plugin?
Hi icecreamcreatives! If it’s loading fine in Incognito and other browsers this means this is a local issue with the browser session cache. In fact, for example, it’s not happening in our end. Incognito mode is like normal users see your site.

Just wondering if the media carousel could be set to latest posts and it will update automatically whenever a post is up? And if it could be placed on top?
Also if I could arrange my posts on my homepage neatly into 2-3 rows with even, small gaps in between? I need them to be in same-sized squared images, with the title and category placed on the image.
Is it possible to add a sidebar that shows up only when clicked? (Would be great if the button can be placed on the header).

1. Yes, the latest post is also the latest post in a carousel (unless differently specified).
2. Yes you can modify the gap, the ratio and the size (the module has 100+ options you can mix and match).
3. No, there is not a feature to show the sidebar on click.
4. Please remove the ThemeForest frame (your link points to the generic homepage and it’s not possible to understand what you refer.
5. Yes, in the module you can choose to use the natural size or you have a set of presets crops.

For example, if my last three categories are Lifestyle, Blog, Food, I’d like those three to show up with images taken automatically from the latest posts of those categories. Can that be done too?

Photos have disappeared from my site, and will not reappear with uploading. It was working fine until recently, and Wordpress is now looking asking me to re-register my product, but purchase codes and/or API codes are not being recognized. While my support has expired, a failure in the system and failure to operate as described should not require me to pay another $40 just to get my site back to full functionality. I’d appreciate a hand and had no other way to contact the author.
The registration problem is related to the fact that that you have an old version of Uncode. The old registration system uses the old Envato API (that is now deprecated and has a very slow cache system) for the Purchase Code verification. You should update to the new version of Uncode that uses the new Envato API and a faster registration system with only the Purchase Code. why can’t I activate my theme? error appears is : “According to the Envato License Terms, you have exceeded the maximum number of activations permitted for a single Purchase Code. Please purchase an additional license”. even though I only activate the license in only 1 domain

Is there a function or a filter I can use to completely disable the front-end editor? I know i can do this within the WPBakery section on a role-by-role basis but its a pain to do, especially on dozens of websites. If there is a simple function i can use, i would really appreciate it.

I have just updated theme and all plugins. And now VC Button are disappeared. Though website is loading fine. I have tried few times, uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck. In Role Manager Everything enabled and checked.
Hi wistech! Unfortunately, we don’t have other similar reports, if this is an issue of the theme here you should read hundreds of similar reports. Please try to disable all extra plugins or update all extra plugins. For example after the last WordPress update there was an issue with Yoast plugin that need also to be update to the latest stable version.

Yes, if you come from WP 5.3 or 5.3.1, and you are running Uncode 2.2.5, you can definitely update WP to 5.3.2, since it is a very minor update.

For oEmbedded contents it’s better you use the Media Gallery module of the Page Builder, you can use the Page Builder in this area.

I checked this with developers last week and unfortunately it’s not possible to fix cause Instagram doesn’t give a method with the oEmbed feature to understand when there is a video (in the URL there is not a tag that differentiate a video from a single image). Please note that also in our documentation about the oEmbed valid formats we only reference Instagram single images and not Instagram videos.
