I was having issues while installing demos in the local environment, that I needed for reference while designing a new website. I am planning to use my Avada license for it. I was told I have grandfathered support, being an old buyer. The support team did take a few days to identify that there’s some error happening while pulling the demos, they directed me to use an alternate method to pull the content. I hope this is ironed out – I’ve never faced this issue earlier – and I regularly use the demos and keep a watch for new updates, so my site is upto date. Avada is great otherwise – with new features being added, and being an old customer has helped me. Just hope the code is fixed for the demos in a future release. Thanks.

I already created a ticket. The support team said they need to go to the developers, because of some error. I shared full creds of the hosting – but they were unable to fix it, and gave me a temporary workaround. I am otherwise happy with the innovation that Avada provides. Thanks.

Hi Ammar, I am not sure if it is hosting specific. I am trying it on MAMP and MAMP Pro setups, and I have tried using different internet connections as well. I am based in India, and don’t see any particular restrictions. Sometimes the import is successful, at other times it fails. This morning, receiving updates for PHP 7.4.2, let’s see. My hosting is still running 7.0.33. I don’t have any issues as long as things keep working. I think Avada is the most extensive platform over the years. You guys have done a brilliant job.

It would be difficult to assess for issues on local servers. We have tested this at our end in the same location and we were able to import the demos without any issues. However, we will test this further for most demos and if any issues are found, we will address them

Thanks Shaminder. I just hope this gets identified. I did my best to replicate the issue on the hosted services, where the issue was detected by your support team. No other complaints right now apart from demos not working, like they used to earlier.

I’m sorry but this could very well be a pre-sales question as well as it may be something someone may want to know BEFORE they purchase. I have another client who would like this same theme and I’d like to know before I purchase it whether or not it’s available. (This is something you would know without me having to submit a ticket as accessing my site would not be necessary for this).

I´m using Avada theme at one of my websites in a WordPress multisite-installtion (Wp 4.9.13). After update to Avada 6.2 (from 6.1.2, by FTP), doing all patches and update fusion core and fusion builder the website is white with error (replaced the server path partly with ”...”):

Updating Avada Theme seems to be very difficult. I bought some other themes on themeforest like bridge or total, of which the update procedure is really simple and with none of this problems.

We suggest you to please update your WordPress to the latest version first, it appears that you are using an older version of WordPress right now, also the error is related to a patch we have released time ago, please make sure that you have the patch properly applied after doing a WP update and the reinstalling Avada completely along with Fusion Core and Fusion Builder.
Updating Avada is not at all difficult, however it is important that you keep your WordPress updated as well and also apply any patches that are released after update, however in any case if you have any issues please open a support ticket and our team will gladly assist you.

Теперь я буду делать ещё несколько сайтов, на изучение других тем нету времени. В принципе логично было бы купить Avada, но после окончания периода поддержки у меня возникло три вопроса, которые по моему пониманию должны работать без дополнительной платы. 2. Yes, this can be one by simply selecting the specific text and changing the color from text editor.

Я делаю небольшие и недорогие сайты и хочу работать с одной темой, в целя эксперимента купил тему Авада сделал на ней сайт и после первого крупного обновления она перестала работать как нужно.
Это меня останавливает перед покупками в будущем вашей темы. Я не могу писать в службу поддержки, прошло пол года и вы хотите для дальнейших ответом 42 доллара.http://joxi.ru/Y2LoOg7HQE8b6m а других путей я не знаю.
Считаю такой подход не правильным, потому что тема перестала работать в момент обновления и я не виноват в этом, вместо работы я должен писать вам много писем сюда и получать от вас ненужные мне ссылки.
Я склонен думать что тема работает и вы отвечаете ТОЛЬКО ПОЛ ГОДА, а дальше она ломается и для того чтобы вы помогли ее починить я должен ОПЯТЬ ВАМ ПЛАТИТЬ.
Так будет всё время? Тогда я не буду дальше покупать вашу тему. Помогите сделать то что должно работать по умолчанию, Я ЗА ЭТО УЖЕ ЗАПЛАТИЛ и я куплю ещё не одну тему Авада.

Судя по написанным здесь комментариям, после обновления не у одного меня проблемы с сайтом. Значит проблемы есть.

1) For layerslider, It would be difficult to assess/advise on the issue via the comments section. We have released update for the layer slider. Please backup you site and update once again
2) I am unable to understand your issue your.
I would request you to please perform some basic diagnostics
-) Can I please request you to disable all third party plugins except Fusion builder and Fusion core and check if the issue still persists
-) Please disable any child theme and switch to the parent theme to check if the issue is resolved
-) Ensure that you have no system values showing in red. You can check this by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard > Avada > System status. Please do ask your host to adjust any values that you see in red
-) I would request you to please clear the cache from Theme options, by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard > Avada > Theme options > Advanced > Dynamic CSS and JS and click on “Reset fusion caches”, Screenshot here. Please clear all server and browser cache post this and re-check the front end of your site in an incognito window
-) Finally, please do ensure that you have all theme and bundled plugins updated to the latest version
3) The Fusion builder is on the correct version

So now I have to create a token giving access to “View Your Envato Account Username, Download Your Purchased Items, List Purchases You’ve Made and Verify Purchases You’ve Made” to my client and any other people that manage the website in order to register the theme? Why on earth is that? Can I add the token in order to update the theme and then remove it until the next update and so on?

A token key is generated and used to register the theme, securely, to allow for theme and required plugin updates to be aggregated to the install. Once registered, do not deregister it by removing the token key, this defeats the intention behind the registration and will not notify you of updates etc.
There is zero personal information associated wth the token key.

Since the latest update the theme or any of its parts is adding a weird json faq Schema on custom taxonomies made for custom post types.

The thing is, when Fusion Core is deactivated things return to normal. This wasn’t happening in the previous update so please check this out.
I’m starting to get a bunch of Missing field “acceptedAnswer.text” errors on Search Console because of this, and that may be happening too to any other person using the updated version of Avada that was released a few days ago.
Rolling back to the previous version until it’s fixed.

Two more bugs found since updating to 6.2..
1) All fusion buttons in post and pages editor are black text on black background unless selected in which case they are still white text..
2) the Feature Image no longer works. You can click on it, you can select an image but it does nothing…

417602 patcher fixed this problem, but the same problem remains in search page.
All my updates are going smoothly for 7 Avada themed sites. Curious, think one day you will be able to multi update all the patches (7 came in overnight) with one click like Word Press offers for multiple plugin updates? Thanks!

Hello, I’ve been using the Events Calendar for a while, with no sidebar on event archives. After applying the latest Avada patches, an empty sidebar appeared now on the events archive. Am I the only one with this issue ? If not can you fix it ? Thx !

Never needed to open a support since 2016. this my second website and it did exactly happened after patch and it was causing css probllem. I remove autoptimize plugin it worked and then i start to use litespeed and it does not work anymore. Yeah it is beacause of the plugin but there was not issue before until patch shows up. I checked our support queue and spoke to our developers and we have not had a conflict with the Litespeed plugin since the release of 6.2, therefore your installation will need to be checked.

Hello and congratulations on 6.2 release and the new theme builder. I haven’t been using Avada for a while and the new builder looks very promising. However, I remember that I was disappointed for how Fusion Builder treats multi column layouts in a way that it was impossible to collapse 4 column layout to 1 column layout with 2 column layout in between (desktop 4, tablet 2, mobile 1). All multi column layouts built with Fusion Builder used to collapse to one column at one given point which wasn’t always ideal (typically for 4+ columns). Are there any changes planned in this regard? Also, are nested columns still treated as a special object without being able to create multiple levels of nesting?

We are happy to hear that you like our latest update, regarding the column layout our mobile layout works the same way it used to work with 1 column layout on responsive mode and the nested columns can not have more nested columns inside them at the moment.

Yes there is, it is something that is in our developmnet queue. Historically, and because mobile viewports vary so much in terms of how much you can actually view on the screen, it is a design decision on our part to automatically have columns cascade as they do.
